Jane Doe 1982 was discovered in a rock-pit pond in Pompano Beach
on June 20, 1982. She had been dead two weeks. She stood between
5-foot-2 and 5-foot-6, and could have been between 13 and 20
years old. She was white. She was wearing a Chemise Lacoste
brand blue-green and orange-striped long-sleeve V-neck weather,
and a yellow metal necklace. She could have been a smoker, had
one of her bottom molars extracted at one point during her short
life, and had a fracture in one of her back vertebrae, likely
from a car accident, or a fall.
