Although being told off by his dad shook him slightly, Madness
still retained a bit of a smile. After all, he wasn't short of
points where Sonic had jumped into things without thinking.
[I]"Who do you think I learned it from? If I remember correctly,
Knuckles tried to convince you not to use the giant cannons back
in, what was it, Bullet Station? yet you pulled yourself, Tails
and him headfirst into that thing. But, hey, I understand,
you're just looking out for me, and that's good of you
Sonic."[/I] of course where Madness was from it was Millie and
Knuckles that had been pulled into the cannons in Bullet
Station, [I](*)[/I] but Sonic had already mentioned Tails being
a male here. He couldn't help but laugh at Sonic ruffling his
hair up. [I]"Heh heh, yeah! And yeah, thanks for the help at the
end."[/I] that reminded him of something and he lightly pushed
any hair stuck in the girl hedgehog's face out of the way of her
nose and mouth lest they cause any issues on breathing that
would most likely already be severed as it was, that put him in
range for his nose to be poked which she ended up doing. He
shook his head slightly losing his smile. Although he considered
her somewhat valiant to be wanting to find a friend despite her
own marginally insane situation, it was also maybe a bit
reckless? Of course he couldn't really speak on the subject,
after all wasn't what he had just done a play on the matter of
both? [I]"We've got this."[/I] he told Sonic after walking back
to him then walking back to the hedgehog. [I]"We do happen to
have ran into a Robin earlier today. We can help you find
him."[/i] he told her as Gabriel put his jacket around her.
[I]"Good save bud."[/I] he told the bat with a bit of a smile.

Sonic smiled seeing the Chilidogs, "Thanks dude". The girl
hedgehog seemed to also take great interest in the left over
Chilidog also.
"Going into shock?" Sonic gently set her down so Gabriel could
give her his coat.
The girl hedgehog looked confused as the bat helped her in
getting warm, she looked up at him, "Thank you..." she said
softly as she looked down at her boots.
Sonic sat her down on a nearby log, she gave him a confused look
as well, before asking Gabriel, "W..what's the coat made out
of?" It didn't seem like an important question for the current
situation, but it seemed important enough to her because she
still asked.
Sonic looked to Madness shaking his head, "Dont you try and pull
me down with ya, kid, you're younger, your parents would be
worried anout you, I'm only looking out for you, I'm glad you
understand that" he smiled. "Your a smart kid".
The girl hedgehog looked up at Madness as he came over to her
and said he and the bat had ran into Robin earlier, her eyes lit
up, "You know where Robin is!? Oh! Thank you! Thank you! Thank
you!" She said happily as she got up and wrapped her arms around
Madness' tummy and span around in circles with him.
A few moments later she'd let go and did the same thing with
Gabriel, when she reached Sonic she seemed to pause, looking up
at the bigger blue hedgehog, who smiled back down at her, she
then threw her arms around him in a hug.
When she let go, she handed back Gabriel's coat, and started
running on the spot, which made her legs and boots become a blur
of colour. She then shot off, running about the place, running
around the other three in circles, but avoiding the pond while
doing so. She was actually rather fast too, being a small blue
blur mixed with the colours of her clothes for mist of the time.
When she came back skidding to a stop, which she'd didn't do
properly and ended up falling forward, flat on her tummy, she
was now dry, and it was easier to see her now that her hair
wasn't covering her up.
Sonic seemed to pause at getting a better look at her, then he
looked from Madness to the hedgehog girl then back again.
The girl rolled over, a big warm, happy smile on her face, "So
when do we go? Do we go now?"

The white in the aurora above faded, sparkles seemed to fall
from above and land on the surface of the water. Not too long
after it started, the sparkles started to form into the figure
of a female Mobian in a landing position. The area seemed to be
lighter even though it was that time of night that all lights
turn off. The ripples of the pond were a glow as if this
forming figure itself was creating the light.

He nodded to Mad, thanking him for the compliment in his own
way. "A special material that produces it's own heat," he
replied to the girl's question. Gabriel watched her run around,
blinking a bit as he put his coat back on.
His attention is drawn away by the light before he could say
anything else.

Gabriel wasn't the only one to notice the light, a brown lynx
not to far off taking an interest in it. Ajax walked up, hands
in his pockets and a piece of straw in his teeth, looking to the
light and the woman standing in the center of it. It wasn't
every day that a magnificently bright light just appeared out of
nowhere, so he had taken a bit of interest in it; something
different in the constant monotony that his life had become.
Seeing as he wasn't the first to see it, judging on the small
group next to it, he was not ashamed to turn a tired eye to it.

In the tree was a figure, revealed by the light. He'd been
watching everything go on, camouflaged by his dark colors until
the light revealed him. He looked at the brown lynx, blinking a
bit as he vaguely remembered someone like him. Flashes of
memory came and knocked him off balance, he tumbled into the
pond with a loud splash, a dark violet feather went flying off
in the direction of the lynx.

A splash of water... and a violet feather? As it drifted on the
air towards him, and plucked it from the air gently and looked
at it for a moment; it seemed so strange, yet so oddly familiar.
Ajax shuffled over to the pond, glancing into it with the
feather in hand, staring down into it for a few moments as he
tried to make out the figure within. He reached in, soon finding
his hand meeting and grabbing hold of another, and pulled
Darkenlight up out of the water, standing in it as he did so.
The same dark velvety color... Could it be? He had had dreams of
meeting odd figures of all types, and this one seemed so
similar... "You alright, mate?.."

Once Darkenlight shook away the flashes of memory, he flapped
his wings furiously trying to fly away. Water went flying
everywhere as a result but it was clear he was in pain as the
fall had broken his left wing. He grunted and tried to limp
away, having hit a tree root with his foot it was a good
possibility that he'd accidentally bruised or broke something.
This lynx, I know him but how... he thought holding his head as
there was a headache now.
He ignored the forming figure that had everyone else's attention
as he knew who it was but only wanted to get away.

"He-hey! Why are you running?" Ajax was quick to follow
Darkenlight, knowing something wasn't right. The way he looked
at him; it was almost as if they had met before. Still, his mind
was also on that busted up wing of his, and how he was limping
away. Why was he running away like this, when he could help him?
"Please, stop; I don't mean any harm!"

Darkenlight fell to one knee after a sickening pop came from his
leg. He grunted despite the immense pain, trying to flap his
good wing to get up but it was no use. He panted as he was only
tiring himself out, soon enough he'd collapse. Must get
away.....especially from that Blur Clan, he thought as he tried
to get up. He flapped both wings, the left make a sickening pop
before becoming limb. Darkenlight let out a soft shriek of pain
as he closed his eyes to try to drive the pain away.
