Swim in Knothole Lake

Everything went white, it was blinding, and no matter how shut
tight his eyes where, or how much he shielded his face with his
hands, everything remained that blinding white, everything was
gone from around him too, it was like he was on a cloud, just,
floating.
But it only remained for a few seconds, it soon faded to black,
and he landed in something with a splash. Splash. Water! Wait...
Water!?
He opened his eyes, only for them to sting when the water
reached them, he hadn't taken in a breath before he'd fallen
into the water, and his head was screaming at him for oxygen. He
looked up, or what he thought was up anyway, and saw light, a
wave of relief washed over him, now to reach it.
He kicked furiously about in the water, even using his tail to
push himself up towards the light.
Just when he thought he might pass out from the lack of oxygen,
he hit the water's surface, as soon as he burst out he gasped
for air, pushing his wet hair out of his eyes, he shook his head
sending water everywhere, then looked about looking for land,
still kicking about in the water, spotting land not too far
away, he quickly swam over to it, crawling up on the muddy bank
upon reaching it.
As he crawled up he slipped, getting a face full of mud, he let
out a groan of exhaustion and pain, before he coughed, spitting
out some water, looks like he swallowed some in his struggle.
He felt like just falling down and sleeping amongst the mud, but
he kept pushing, crawling up, past the mud and to the dirt and
grass, which he rolled onto his back upon reaching, his chest
raising and falling with each breath.
After a few minutes of lying there with his eyes closed, he
forced them open again, and slowly got to his feet, he placed a
hand on his forehead and groaned again, "W..where am I?" He
asked himself, as he looked around, he then spun about, as if
looking for someone or something, before stopping and shaking
his head, "We ..must've gotten separated when we went through
the portal..." He sighed, as he brought up his right wrist, in
which a certain device was clipped to, he gave it a quick shake,
and tried to turn it on, but it remained off, he groaned again,
"I'll fix it later.." he said to himself making a mental note to
do just that, before he looked down at himself, boy was he
filthy, covered in mud, dirt, grass and soaked to the bone. He
didn't feel like cleaning himself at the moment, he just wanted
to sleep, but he knew which one he should do first.
He sighed as he trudged through the mud and dirt, finding the
cleanest edge of the lake he'd arrived in, before flopping down
and pulling his boots and socks off, he looked around first,
making sure no one was about, before having all his clothes
fully off, he then slid himself into the lake, and washed out
his fur, drenching himself again, he got a mouth full of water,
and spurted it out slowly, smiling afterwards. He then held his
breath and went fully under water, he was somewhat cleaning
himself, but mostly swimming and having fun in the lake's water.
A few minutes later he thought it best to get out and get his
clothes clean and back on before someone does come by, so he
leapt out of the water, shaking himself off like a wet dog,
before he started cleaning his clothes, he took the time to make
his boots shine again, before he slipped them back on and was on
his feet again with a satisfied smile on his face. The quick
wash made him feel better that was for sure.
He looked to one of the huts, he knew where he was, he just
didn't know when, "Knothole" He said, looking from all the
different huts, maybe he could crash in one of them for a while?
Or maybe he should try finding other people? They could help,
not just with a nice place to sleep but in finding his friend
too...
He huffed at himself before choosing the second option, and
starting his walk along the path that lead out of Knothole.

The brown wild dog caught the attention of the orange fox as he
was heading his way back to home. He wore a Green shirt with
yellow markings on the sleeves along with small brown shorts, he
wore blue shoes with a white marking the letter "X". Around his
neck was a red bandanna wrapped around him
"Excuse me sir...you seem to be lost, Is there anything I can
do to help?" he asked the brown figure.

Robin's right ear flicked hearing a voice, he then spun around
to see an orange fox, he tilted his head looking the mobian up
and down, before the fox asked him if there was anything he
could do to help.
Robin bit his lower lip, would he sound weird if he asked what
the year was? Kind of, yeah. Best to save that part for later.
Robin nodded slowly, as he hesitantly approached the fox, "Yeah,
Uh... I'm from.. Out of town, I'm trailing a bit actually. Do
you know where I can find a place to stay?" His tummy growled at
him, "and find some food? Any hotels or something of the sort
around?" He asked the fox, before he shook his head, "Excuse me,
I can't believe I forgot, I'm Robin, it's nice to meet you!" He
said to the fox as he took ahold of his hand and gave it a firm
shake.

"It's nice to meet you too Robin...my name's "X" he said as he
shook his hand back at Robin. "Hmm....I don't know any hotels
around here...you could stay at my place for now, I'm glad to
have some company...oh your hungry" he noticed Robin's tummy
growling. So the orange fox reached inside his pockets and
pulled out a bag of treats..mostly cookies "Here have a bite
while we're on the trip" he said to the brown dog offering him
the biscuits.

In a tree near the lake, perched a golden armored phoenix. Her
red-orange eyes glinted in the dim light of the aurora over
head. She had been watching everything that had happened, but
was silent. That is until she hopped to a tree closer to the
two, the sound of leaves rustling in the trees gave her away.
The light of the aurora above them glinted off her golden armor
and exposed her. Though her face was hidden by her helmet, her
red-orange eyes were visible.

Robin smiled at X, then listened to the orange fox again as he
answered Robin's questions. The brown canine was surprised at
the fox's kindness, not only did he offer for a Robin to stay at
his place, but he offered him food as well, cookies to be
specific, Robin put a hand behind his head, "Oh, thank you so
much! I owe you big time, Pal! If there's ever anything you need
me to help you with, you let me know alright?" He said, as he
took one of the offered biscuits, his ear then flicked again,
and he turned his head to look at where the sound of rustling
leaves could be heard. His bright green eyes met the red-orange
ones.
"Uhhh... Hello?" He called out to he armoured mobian, "You ok?
Do you need help down or something? You're not stuck up there
are ya?"

(I'm going to try something here, since Rose has never met
Robin, yet this is sort of within the thread Rose was in
previously.)
Rose had come out of the house back in the normal parts of
Knothole Village; now she had a light red shirt, dark purple
pants, and some form of dark blue moccasins on. She had stopped
running now, in view of the lake and some trees, just to see an
unfamiliar wild dog of sorts that had gone further from
Knothole. "Odd... I've never seen him.." the crimson hedgehog
said, before hearing some rustling, and seeing a familiar
hedgephoenix in the tree.
"...Lightanis? What are you doing here?" asked Rose to the
hedgephoenix in the tree, curious to find out about what had
happened to Lightanis after everything.

Fem Alt appeared behind Rose, her grin still as big and
obnoxious as before, they hadn't gone far, made it even easier,
plus she could drag the unconscious hedgehog back to the tent,
might scare the others in Knothole seeing one of them being
dragged back in the process. [I]"Ooooooh mmhmmmm yeah that's a
good ideeeea Alty girl. As clever as you are sexy."[/I] she
thought to herself as she pulled out a cloth, the cloth was
laced with a sleeping formula that would knock out anyone that
inhaled it, should it be put around their mouth. She was
sneaking up behind the hedgehog at this point. [I]"Sleep
tiiiiight."[/I] she thought, maybe a little overconfident that
she was going to go unnoticed.

Then, sensing something wrong, Rose Chaos Controlled -with no
Chaos Emerald- out of the path of whoever was sneaking up on
her, and snatched the cloth away from that person in moments
behind them, holding her breath.
She knew what the cloth was, and she wouldn't -and never will-
fall for that trap. "I suggest you tell me WHY you were doing
that. I won't fall for it, Madness, " she said, placing her foot
on top of the cloth.
This would hopefully call attention to the hedgefox that she was
near, keeping the cloth under her foot.
Good thing that I had this type of training, thought Rose,
wondering if this hedgefox was really Female Madness from when
she'd met Tamwyn the first time. But what was the hedgefox
intending? Kidnap her? Or something more sinister?
"And also, why are you in Knothole? Wouldn't you want to knock
me out somewhere more hidden than the lake? Sort of easy for me
to spoil your 'little joke', eh?" she added, olive-green eyes
staring into the hedgefox's.

Did she just call her Madness?
This made the anti double over laughing.
[I]"Wait. You think i'm the sniper wielder? Ohhhh that's
hilarious!"[/I] after a few seconds she was properly standing
again having got over her laughter. [I]"Since you won't be so
willing I guess i'll just have to find the big guy someone
else."[/I] she disappeared only to reappear behind Robin.
[I]"Hey, hot lips. You'll be seeing me again real soon!"[/I] and
at that she was gone again.

her.)[/I]
