Personality:
Calm and casual are the main parts of his personality along
with slightly arrogant and collected. At times he seems
cowardly but this is often a rouse for what he’s really
planning.

True Form:
A giant Osprey-like bird with deep blue glowing eyes and
roughly the same markings as his terrestrial form. (Will only
use in Astral Aurora Plains)
Powers/Abilities
Night vision
No glare eyesight (you see a glare, he doesn’t)
Max speed of 399 mph when in an aerial dive
Sharp Talons (see that steel wall over there? Uh yeah he can cut
through it in about 4-5 blows)
Regeneration (faster at night)
Chaos Magic (fire, blasts, spears, healing, need I say more?)
Full Moon (He's at full power and can easily regain energy)
Lunar Shroud (a type of Chaos Magic that allows him to briefly
blind anyone of his choice up to 6 people a night, it lasts
about 2 posts)
Silver Tongue (Master of Persuasion)
Weaknesses
Tires out easily as a result of inability to adapt to the new
chaos energy
Slow when on the ground
Can be paralyzed if hit right between the shoulder blades (lasts
around 10 minutes or 2 posts)
On New Moons, he isn’t able to use Chaos Magic except for Lunar
Shroud
Lunar Eclipses = instant shut off of his Chaos Energy (probably
another reason he dislikes his brother)
Backstory:
For the most part, Dark-Ness had good childhood. He was pleased
to have a little brother to teach. After learning about the
world below and Chaos Energy, Dark-Ness found that he had
abilities that were directly connected to the lunar phases.
This was what he dubbed ‘lunar chaos energy’.
However the ancient Mobians thought that the young phoenix could
control the moon and its phases. He went along with the idea,
despite knowing that he had no control over it.
Though when the Great War broke out, he had to put these
abilities to the test and thus created the Crystal Phoenix known
as Tarotikius Shifter. And when peace reined again, Dark-Ness
thought that he’d be able to hit it off with Lovelace. However
Lovelace’s true love would end up to be Darkenlight, to which
the two brothers fought over her.
After loosing this fight, a rivalry forged between the two which
was what made Dark-Ness vulnerable to Discord’s influence.
Which made him more jealous when Constaladin said that
Darkenlight would be his successor and not himself. Discord’s
influence had him set his younger brother up for banishment by
leading Lovelace into Celestial Dragon territory. Darkenlight
of course went to save his love but in the process had hurt the
son of the Celestial Dragons’ leader. Dark-Ness smiled when his
father banished Darkenlight and then Lightanis deciding to go
after him, all went according to plan in his mind.
He tried to get Lovelace to be his mate with Darkenlight gone
but she refused and threatened to tell Constaladin about what
Dark-Ness had done. Feeling threatened by this, Dark-Ness told
her that if she ever told anyone that he’d go and kill
Darkenlight. This threat was enough to hush her up, but not
enough to get her to be his mate. “Fine stay on your little
love rock waiting for someone who’ll never come back!” he
shouted at her as he left.
Now Dark-Ness basically manipulates some of his father’s
decisions in hopes to one day have his father wrapped around his
finger.
Extra:
He primarily eats fresh fish and his threats are delivered with
calm collected tones. He can't rotate his talons like an osprey
and so his hands are permanently as shown in the picture.
