Madness definitely couldn't help but smile at the fact that she
was going further than just hand holding and completely gripping
his arm. Despite her scythe and black style, there was something
gentle about this girl. Something caring.
Something special.
He'd figure it out.
For now he had running to do.

destination? Only he would know right now.

" Well that sounds like trouble....aliens that devour everything
on a planet. sounds like some sci-fi movie gone wrong. " Blaze
replied as he scratched his head in confusion. Veira snorted a
bit as she looked at her partner. " get serious Blaze.....this
is not one of your little shows. " veira growled a bit as she
huffed a bit.

Sonic's face wore a look of determination as he ran in circles,
kicking up a whirlwind, that failed to catch the mobian he
seeked, thanks to Madness he didn't trip over the large boulder
instead he stopped after a moment or two of no results.
He dug the heels of his shoes into the dirt and skidded to a
stop, huffing silently at the fact that he didn't get that leafy
hedgehog person.
He watched Madness head over to another mobian whom had appeared
a cat of sorts, he raised and eyebrow watching the two silently
for a moment before turning his attention back as questions
where asked about the Black Arms by the elemental hybrid twins,
but he was beaten in explaining what the Black arms where to the
brothers. "That's why I'm not too sure on the whole 'making a
sanctuary to save them' idea" He said aloud, looking to Blaze
and Ty, whom didn't sound so keen on the race either, "I'm all
for giving people second chances and helping and freedom, but
these guys have the potential to destroy others freedom and
lives, and that's not ok" He glanced to Lightanis, "Which is
just why I'm sketchy about this" He added looking away, back to
Madness and the cat, he watched as the two ran off... The
hedgehog couldn't help but get a weird feeling in his gut... He
didn't know Madness very well at all, he knew the kid was
trustable and kind at heart, he'd shown that. But he was getting
a 'protective father' kinda feeling, he had an urge to go after
them to see what they got up too. But. It'd just be weird, he
had only just met the kid, he'd have eyebrows raised at him if
he started acting like his parent or something. Not to mention
the media would probably twist his image and name with anything
they could get, not that Sonic cared how other people saw him
really, it was just kind of really annoying when people where
pouting at you for the wrong things.
He turned back to the group, crossing his arms, thinking for a
moment, before looking to Lightanis, "Not sure if you still want
my help in anything involving that sanctuary, but if you do, I'm
gonna need to think on it, a run will help with that" He nodded
then started to jog on the spot, his feet becoming a blur, "I'll
probably run into you guys some other time, right now, I need a
run" He announced, before he shot off in a streak of blue,
heading out of Knothole.

"Too bad he didn't stay," Manux said as he watched the Blue Blur
run out of Knothole. He then turned to the group, keeping
himself revealed to them. "I would've told him the information
I was given," he continued as he held out a red circular fruit,
"this is a fruit that I was given that will be planted in the
sanctuary. It seems our possible new neighbors are omnivores,
eat this fruit to live on but need flesh to gain strength." He
walked up to the twins and handed them the fruit.
The fruit was hard and red in color. If they broke it open,
inside would be a slimy pale green substance.

Gabriel shook his head at what all went on. Even when the blur
left it was still awkward tension. He looked at the fruit that
the crystal phoenix gave the twins. He sighed and simply looked
at Phoenix and Lightanis. "Just give me orders," he told them.

Blaze looked at the odd fruit for a moment as well as heading
the words of the green one. Looking at the fruit he couldn't say
much about it other than it looked almost normal. a small sniff
was all he gave to it before deciding on what to do. " And this
is for the black arms or can anybody eat this? " Blaze asked.
veira sat up rather quickly as her tail smacked the ground a
bit. " If that is for the aliens eating that is ill advised... "
veira stated plainly.

Lightanis' attention was placed on what was being said to her.
She was unsure how to respond.
Phoenix's attention had went back to the blue hedgehog. Having
seen him leave, she followed.
Lightanis shook her head at the twins and walked up to them.
She held out her hand for the fruit. "If thou ist too filled
with fear, I shall tryth it," she huffed.

Blaze looked at the fruit then back to Lightanis. he didn't want
to put her at risk if it meant saving his own skin. That just
didn't feel right to him. With a small sigh of flame before
taking a small bite out of the fruit.

Although incredibly gross in texture, it had no taste and no ill
effect on the hedgewolf.
