The Strange Aurora
DIR By: Lightanis

It was a peaceful night in Mobotropolis that is until lights
shot up from three nearby locations, one from Angel Island it
seemed, another from somewhere near Knothole, and one that was
in a graveyard in the city. The ground shook for a moment
before everything stopped, there was an odd silence. The lights
having disappeared now but the sky was illuminated by what
seemed to be a strange Aurora.

Gabriel was perched on a building, awoken by the commotion of
the lights and quakes. He stares up at the sky like many of the
Mobians below, wondering what was going on. They weren't that
far north to see the Northern Lights nor that far south to see
the Southern Lights, so what was causing it. What's more, what
the hell was that light from that graveyard?
With that in mind, the dark grey bat opened his wings and took
to the air. His intent being on seeing what was in that
graveyard.

A very tall female amber hedgehog with dark grey clothing and
dark brown boots, meanwhile, was walking not too far from the
graveyard in Mobotropolis because she couldn't sleep, when a
bright, green light blinded her, forcing her to force her eyes
shut. "Iblis-damn it... what is that?" she asked to herself in a
hushed tone, before falling over thanks to the quake. Then an
odd silence followed, coming with a strange aurora. "What
the..?" she muttered, a confused glance from her indigo-purple
eyes staring at the lights cascading over the skies.
Then she saw a somewhat familiar face, a certain male bat,
heading towards the graveyard. "Him again...? I have to find out
what that light was, and why that guy is here again," she
muttered to herself, also starting towards the graveyard with a
running pace, muttering apologies as she headed towards the
source of the green light.

"Another peaceful night in Mobotropolis." Madness was
currently stargazing by the pond in one of Mobotropolis' many
parks trying to find himself some sleep. Happy to have such a
peaceful night. Above him was a certain sniper rifle wielding
hedgefox, his female form.
Madness let out a sigh. Fem was way too uptight. She was
spinning herself in the tree, non-stop watching things through
her scope and occasionally looking left and right slashing the
air with a machete.
"Madeliene."
"For the last time Madness, no. You're me, that's true."
"Which means i'd be able to sense any impending danger just
as soon as you could. Look, Madeliene, please, forget about
sniping anything tonight and catch some sleep. It's a beautiful
night, the stars are out, the streets are peaceful. It's the
kind of thing you'd want to bring your girlfriend out to."
The light shooting up from the graveyard caught both of their
attention and Fem prematurely shot into the air. The earthquake
literally throwing her off of the tree, thankfully Madness was
quick on his feet and managed to grab her out of the air and put
her down on the ground. "I owe you one champ." she told
him with a smile before losing that smile and staring at the
light coming from the graveyard. "Don't tell me someone's
tryna revive the dead or some of that rubbish..."
"A beacon to the sky doesn't just come out of a graveyard at
this time of the night for natural reasons. We'd best check it
out. Come on." and at that he picked himself up and was
dashing on his way to the graveyard.
Fem would be right behind him.

The graveyard was quiet and creepy; a low misty fog had settled
on it and was illuminated by the aurora above. All but one
grave seemed undisturbed, the one in the middle with the huge
statue and gravestone. The dirt was disturbed as if something
had come out of it. The gravestone was blank except for the
dates, which were worn down but still legible. ‘T.o.C: End of
the Great War T.o.D: 1900 AD'

Gabriel felt at home in this eerie atmosphere, smiling a bit as
he landed on a gravestone close to the large undisturbed grave.
Interesting birth and death dates, wonder who or what was buried
here, he thought as read the worn lettering, could it be that
Ghost Phoenix? The one the Society has on file as a Crystal
Phoenix? If so where is it? He looked around as if trying to
spot the entity but saw nothing.

Lori had followed the guy that she'd met once to the graveyard,
and stopped behind another gravestone, hiding carefully -though
her tall height may give her away- as she stared harshly at the
large gravestone.
Huh.... I wonder... maybe that light must have been from someone
like Lightanis and Darkenlight... but this isn't enough power
for somebody like that... she thought slowly, biting her lip as
her indigo-purple eyes kept glancing around for others- and she
spotted something going towards Knothole in the sky.
The aurora made it brighter in the skies for her to see, and she
squinted. It was... another hedgephoenix? And Tamwyn?
She's unfamiliar... but why are they going there? Maybe the
hedgephoenix senses my mom... but I need to stay here. I guess
Tamwi must have gotten caught, she added in her mind, before
looking back to the large gravestone.

Whoosh! In came a Female Alt.
With Robin in tow, but no less, a Female Alt.
She hadn't saw it coming that he'd latch on to her.
The unamused face said it all as they appeared in the mist.
"Guess you're eager to get started huh?" she said to the
dog with a grin. She could partially see him, definitely feel
him as he was grabbing onto her. Two white sheets appeared, she
dropped one on top of herself and tossed the other one to him.
"Here. drop this on top of yourself, we're gonna scare the
s**t out of everyone here. Then you can have your way with
me." she said before she went towards the exit making
"Woooooooooooooooo, ah oooooooooooooooo" ghost sounds.
Ridiculous? Yes. Regular level of ridiculous for her if she
wasn't 'doing' a guy? Generally.

"You just keep watch here and wait for a signal okay?"
Although it was against her usual ire, Fem had chosen to, for
some reason, head into the graveyard and explore for herself.
Madness seemed to be okay with the idea when she pitched it,
after all, she was able to take care of herself in the more
dangerous situations. She didn't need hand holding. Plus she
kind of needed to experience 'middle to front lines' a bit more
as she was so used to hiding at the back and blasting from
there.
She found her way to the disturbed looking gravestone hardly
noticing that two more people were already around it. A bat, and
a hedgehog seemed to be trying to hide herself, she just shook
her head at this. What was she trying to hide from? Fem wasn't
too big on mobius history yet due to how long she had been
around this dimension, and a lot of that had been spent with
Madness. "Okaaay and fate led me here for what exactly?"
she thought to herself as she looked around.

Robin and the Hedgefox where teleported to some sort of
graveyard with a low mist, Robin hung on tightly to her until he
knew they where successfully teleported, upon knowing he
instantly let her go, "Get started with what?" He questioned,
putting on a confused frown.
This Hedgefox was weiiiiird. And so confusing.
When she tossed one of the white sheets at him, he didn't react
quick enough and it hit him in the face, not that it hurt, it
was a sheet after all, but it covered him and didn't allow him
to see, "Have my way with-Wait WHAT!?" He came from the future
to solve something with a friend, now his friend was missing and
this crazy Hedgefox was getting him to dress as a stereotypical
ghost in a graveyard then do.. Do.. You know, afterwards.
Robin tried to pull the sheet off of his head, stumbling about
as he did so, he was just managing to pull the sheet off, when
he stood on a bit of it and fell over forward, rolling a bit
before stopping.
He'd managed to roll a bit more then what he had thought he did,
and stopped somewhere close to Madeliene, although he didn't
know that, because he couldn't see with the sheet on.
"Rrrk! Rrrrrr!" He growled as he struggled about trying to get
it off.
Getting sheets that are thrown at you, off, shouldn't be this
hard.
