Darkened City

Sonic, Terios and Gabriel had hardly made it out of the city of
Mobotropolis before the purple and dark sky that had been
surrounding the planet hit the Capital City of the Planet and
Luna's Shadow Minions began to tear apart the buildings. The
city was large, but without a retaliatory capability like
Miana's it was much easier to tackle and turn the citizens into
the mindless minions that the attackers had become. Here there
and everywhere, citizens were being filled with enough dark
energy to drown their soul and body, making them a threat to
their friends and family. Was there anyone around that could
perhaps stand up to this ever growing horde of monstrosities?
Four girls were certainly going to try as their muscle's
favourite 7,000kg vehicle came roaring into the streets, none of
the Shadow Minions could get near them, Luna's Hummer had her
own enchantments on, dark energy enchantments that most of the
minions recognised as signals of their own, and those that saw
through the enchantments were either run over, or given slaps to
the face by the windscreen wipers which caused them to lose
their grip.
[I]"Hold on!"[/I] Tashie threw the behemoth of a vehicle into a
bend and the weight sent them onto two wheels, then onto none,
spinning. The Hummer rolled through a building or two,
annihilating the walls that it crashed through (the girls wide
eyed and screaming as it did so) before coming to a stop
surprisingly right side up and, to the girls being pleased for
some reason, an old abandoned building, the blue badge and white
letters spelling D,A,C,I and A barely clung onto the building.
[I]"Ehheh. Well. What are the chances?"[/I] Tashie said.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Well, crediting the size of the
city and the potential buildings that we could have ended up
at-"[/I][/glow] [I]"I didn't mean that literally Velma."[/I]
Tashie said, interrupting her number nutty teammate. [I]"The old
showroom. The path to the Dark Mine. Ready to be heroes
girls?"[/I]
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"What about Sapphire and Robin?
Shouldn't we wait for them?"[/I][/glow] [I]"That blue one comes
across as a speedster like a certain someone else..."[/I] Tashie
closed her eyes thinking it over. High speed had robbed her of
so many opportunities to achieve her greatest goal, the reason
that they were pairing Prince Alt with his perfect match and
getting rid of Fem anyway. But now, it could be to their
advantage. Tashie reopened her eyes. [I]"Very well, let's wait
for them then..."[/I]

The girls wouldn't have to wait very long on the duo of Robin
and Sapphire, as the two where already on their way.
"I'm telling you Robin, I've got a bad feeling about this and
Madeliene was with me until they showed up which made her run
off, that surely is enough for you to at LEAST reconsider
working with this group" Sapphire argued, still trying to get
her side of things seen by her best pal.
"Not quite" Robin began, making Sapphire give a sigh, "You're
forgetting that these guys also busted me out of a jail I was
not suppose to be in, in the first place. I could've been a
criminal, I could've been anyone, they wouldn't know for sure,
yet they looked past that and helped me out of there, you don't
know what that place was like! The guards... They where...
They... It was horrible. I stepped in when they tried to hurt
Monica- the Mongoose of the group, I bit one of them just to
make them not harm her" Robin said, giving a pause to make sure
Sapphire was picking everything he was saying up, after a few
seconds of her being silent he continued, "And I got knocked out
for it, woke up back in my cell which I had to share with Monica
funnily enough. And she.. She.. Well I..Mmm.." He trailed off,
"She kissed you?" Sapphire questioned, Robin gave a nod, "How'd
you know?" "You're not exactly as unattractive as o say you are
when people you like are around" She said, looking away. A smile
filled the canine's face "Are you saying I'm attractive?" "No
I'm saying you're not unattractive" "So, yes, yes you are" "No-
"Wait so.. Since you said it, does that mean you think I'm
attractive?" "No! Robin I'm just saying you're not unattractive
like I say you are around other people, which may be why Mon-"
"-ica kissed me? Like you want to" "Gross! No!" "I hate to
interrupt but-" "What do you mean 'Gross'? You just admitted you
find me attractive" "No I didn't!" "Robin and Sapphire-"
"Different mobians find different mobians attractive Sapphire
and you find this puppy right here attractive and openly
admitted it" "If you would just shut your mouth for one minute
and let me expla-" "SWERVE!!!".
Veronica's shout caught the two by surprise but thankfully they
listened and did as she said, Sapphire went right, and Robin,
who was on a hover board of sorts and in a suit that looked like
motorcycle gear, went left, having to rebalance himself from the
quick swerve from Veronica's surprise shout.
The two where in the city and Veronica had saved them from
running into the thick of already some of the chaos caused by
the shadow minions, but now the two where split up and had to
remind each other once again.
"Veronica, scan for Sapphire's location please" "Scanning" As
Veronica scanned, Robin brought his board higher up into the air
and after hitting a button on the side of Veronica's device,
spawned himself some pretty fancy looking guns that, like the
hover board, matched his boots in colour, doing his best to
avoid coming into contact with anyone or anything. "Target
found." "Where is she then?" "On your left, she must've changed
course after swerving and realising you had gone the other way
and so went to find you, she appears to be not moving" "Not
moving? What is she crazy!?" "Just hurry it up Robin I'm sure
she has a reason" Robin swerved and ducked and weaved his way to
Sapphire, finding her at a standstill, looking up at the sky,
"Sapphire, what are you doing?! You can't just stand out here
doing nothing, these things could get you if you don't move"
"Looks like the sky at home doesn't it?" She said blankly, Robin
looked up for a moment before back down at the hedgehog, "It
looks bad yes, not quite like home's sky but-" "We didn't go
back far enough, did we? We didn't get to plan anything Robin
and it's already started" "What's already started?" Sapphire
looked at him, "The problem. Home's problem, the whole reason we
came back in the first place". The two paused, just looking at
each other, until Veronica broke the silence, "Not quite, have
neither of you two gotten a closer look at things? These are not
the nightmares of your time, nothing similar in fact aside from
that they both are causing chaos. This is not the start of
home's problem and you two have a group to find whom are just
over there, get going before we're attacked please" Sapphire and
Robin both gave looks of relief before nodding and heading off
to where Veronica guided them to.
Reaching it they came to a stop and slowly approached the group,
Robin dismounted his board, and wrapped it under an arm, waving
to the girls with his free hand before using it to take his
helmet off and take in a big breath, shaking his head, "What a
ride!" He exclaimed while shooting a smile at Monica, "Taking
off the helmet makes your hair even more messier then it already
is Fruitloop, keep it tamed would you?" "Focus".
They did, but not until after an exchange of tongue poking
out's.
Robin looked to Tashie, seeming rather thrilled or excited,
pumped to say the least about something, maybe he was having an
adrenaline rush? "Alright Tash, what are we doin' first? What do
you need Sapphire and I to do for you? Oh and Veronica, she's
present too" He added, holding up his right wrist, which made
the device on it glow. Sapphire just stood beside him, rather
close while her eyes darted around, looking a few times to
Monica but mostly to their surroundings of the city.

odds Veronica?"[/I][/glow] [I]"Velma!"[/I]
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"She is debited with being limited
to a device and to carrying out the orders of whoever controls
her device. It is... In credential terms, the law of AIs. This
severely debits what she can do. On the side of what is
creditable to her balance sheet of 'life' she can utilise any
gadgets within the device and she seems to have a very
respecting owner and friends... On second thought, I think her
Profit and Loss statement of positives to negatives may actually
be balanced. More thought must be debited to it."[/I][/glow]
Tashie just shook her head, Velma took this opportunity to shut
up. [glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Transferring payment of
silence."[/I][/glow] [I]"THANK you..."[/I] Tashie had looked
like she was getting a bit bored.
With her teammates now being quiet, Tashie could turn her
attention to Robin. [I]"Through this abandoned car dealership
lies the Dark Mine. It's the largest source of dark energy that
exists, and if Luna is behind this, then chances are she found
this mine and soaked up a lot of dark energy from it. The
solution is simple, we blow it up."[/I] As if on cue, another
car, SUVesque, but still smaller than the Hummer, came riding in
and to a stop next to the group, the car ironically enough
sported the same blue badge and letters as the dealer before
them. A lime green, brown haired, tall, tiger Mobian got out of
the car carrying a stacked pile of rectangular metal looking
items with two wires on the side of each. One green, one red.
[glow=limegreen,2,300][I]"Taaashie TashieTashieTashie great to
see you in one piece boss HERE I got what you were after, yeah,
Uhhuh, HUHHUH."[/I][/glow] he let off a slightly nervous laugh
before seeming to flip out. [glow=limegreen,2,300][I]"A large,
INCENDIARY PILE, OF C ****ING FOUR."[/I] he sure enough dropped
the large pile of explosives at the Purple Hedgefox's feet. Not
his wisest move had it been a kind of explosive that exploded on
impact, thankfully C4 was timer based.
[glow=limegreen,2,300][I]"Contrary to the fact that this team is
COMPLETELY ****ing psychotic beyond ANY kind of mob family I,
EVER dealt with back in Liberty City and-"[/I][/glow] [I]"Shut
up Ken!..."[/I] Tashie gave him a second. [I]"THANK You... These
will work nicely."[/I] Ken seemed to take this opportunity to
dive back into his Dacia Duster (car)'s driving seat and speed
off. Tashie just sighed.
[I]"THAT. Robin and Sapphire. Is a man who went from lawyering
for several corrupt gangs and mob families, to doing maintenance
on a grand total of approximately 25 vehicles for a group of
Anti-Mobius girls. Fate really [B]does[/B] tug on some people I
guess."[/I] she said as Velma wandered forward, picking up the
large cube of rectangular explosives from next to Tashie's feet.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"He seems a little more flustered
than usual."[/I][/glow] Tashie would ignore her mongoose
teammate's comment as she had an idea to get out. [I]"Now if I
saw you run off at the speed I think you did earlier on Little
Blue, then I think I may have the perfect role for you."[/I] she
said to Sapphire. [I]"Would you two be prepared to keep whatever
she has guarding the mine, occupied while we set charges?"[/I]
she asked them. Monica's eyes had gone wide in alarm when the
two were asked of this idea. [I]"You should easily be able to
outrun any traps or beings after all."[/I]

"Quite.." Was all Veronica got to say in reply to Velma before
Tashie cut in and interrupted that conversation.
Robin looked at Tashie as her attention went to him, his ears up
as he listened to her speak, "Dark mine huh?" He gave a nod, he
let her know at least that he was listening. "Blow it up? That
sounds like a blast, heheh, but wouldn't that seen all the dark
energy everywhere? Or would it just destroy it?" Question,
questions, this African Wild Dog was full of them.
Robin jumped when the SUVesque came racing in, Sapphire didn't
even flinch however and silently laughed at Robin's surprise.
Sapphire did however stare at this tiger mobian for a little
longer then what she would normally look at someone for, but
eventually she looked away.
Robin's fur stood on end at Ken entering the scene, he was loud,
it hurt his ears, oh, swear words, lovely~ He shook it off
though, and soon enough the tiger had dived back into his car
and drove off, "He seems nice" Robin said with a bit of a goofy
smile, it was hard to tell if he meant that or was kidding,
maybe it was a bit of both?
Sapphire took a slight step back when she was then addressed by
Tashie, looking up at the purple hedgefox with a rather blank
expression, but there was some slight curiosity there. "That
sounds easy" Sapphire said, looking to Robin who had a hand to
his chin in thought, Veronica too had her loading screen up as
if she was processing this plan herself.
"We'll do it" "If we have one of you out here with us to help,
how about you Tashie? I'm sure the rest of your team is capable
of setting the charges, Robin could go in instead of you while
you and I work out here, how's that sound?" "Sapphire, you and I
have worked together for years, we know how each other fights,
that will be very handy here, besides what would Tashie fight
with? Do you have anything fight wise you haven't revealed to us
yet Tashie or?" "Sapphire's idea isn't bad and it settles my
mind a bit more..." "I won't do it if we have one of each side
at least with part of the other team, know what I'm saying? One
of me or Robin has to be in there while the other is out and at
least one of your crew has to be with either me or Robin. Little
trust excersise right? We're all team here. Aren't we?" The
hedgehog had not forgotten what Fem had said, her trust in the
group still was faltering and she wanted eyes on them at all
times, she'd picked up Monica's eye widen at Tashie's proposal
to her and Robin, she wasn't about to let her and her best
friend be back stabbed by a team she was told to have caution
on.
