Seeing the signed piece, Natasha smiled and placed the sheets on
a pair of stands while Opaline played. "Do you know who wrote
this, Opal?" The feline's face glowed as she took hold of the
cello and sat down beside her daughter, holding the bow daintily
       in her hand.

Seeing the music choice and the signature, Opaline stopped her
practice song, and nodded slowly. "Dad's signature.. That's one
of his favorites. Until this year, he played it each time we had
a birthday with Team Light, or at least before that team
existed.. Team Light when I became ten or eleven. He said the
lyrics always reminded him of you.."
With that, she slowly calmed herself from the excitement she had
been feeling, and with turquoise eyes locked on the notes on the
page, she began first, on a line of which was marked 'violin' by
the same person who had written the signature of 'Shadow' on the
front page of the sheet music. The next two lines after the
starting line for the violin part was then marked 'cello' in the
same handwriting, and marked as such for both when there were
part when it was either one for one part or the other for a
       different part.
How Opaline played was very good and very practiced, like the
very person who wrote basically a guide in the notes of the
music she was playing, sweet and with rarely a mistake, focused
       and very gentle..

As Opaline began to play, so too did Natasha, with a finesse
that one would not normally expect from such a paunchy and silly
feline. Gently she rubbed the bow against the strings, giving
off the sweetest tone. The queen felt like she could play
forever, just her and her daughter from the future.
As they played, the sun moved lazily towards the sky At the
end of their private performance, the castle bells rang,
signifying the arrival of noon. Natasha glanced to the window
and smiled. "That was fun... It's been too long since I've
played..." She looked to Opaline and leaned over, kissing her
cheek. "Still, it's just about time for lunch... How about we
       have some?"
