Agents of Times to Come

"Zzzt...Gabe...zzt...what's your status? Zzzt"
"I'm in Mobotropolis from what I'm guessing, Rally. I'll try to
find Agent Shadow and then we'll go secure the Time Phoenixes.
If I find the Blur I'll escort him to The Phoenix Temple of
Manux." a gruff, deep, voice replied into a watch.
"Zzzt.....Copy that....zzt....stay safe my loverbat
conquistador....Zzzzt."
A blush came to his face. "Orchid when did you get on the
line?" All he got was a giggle in response before the line cut
out. With that he opened his wings and glided to the street.

At the same time, but in the ground area, a certain
black-and-crimson hedgehog who looked older, suddenly appeared,
almost falling over out of a Warp Ring out of a wall of a
building in an alley not too far from Agent Mirrors. He managed
not to fall on his rump and instead on his feet and crouched,
but upon landing, he growled quietly, "Chaos-damn it, Tashie...
And I thought it was not faulty this time... I hope Opaline made
it to someplace safe..."
With that, he sighed and started to follow Mirrors like 20 years
ago, his Hover Shoes activated as he sighted the flying bat,
trying his best to catch up to him. "Oi, Mirrors! Down here!" he
yelled, waving an arm as his slightly longer-looking quills
waved around wildly in the wind. He was feeling a bit ticked off
at the chaos caused by Luna's sudden need to to an early
conquering of the home of everyone he knew.. He would thank
Tashie for the Warp Ring, but also ask her how to quit the whole
'more than one person getting put someplace else' problem from
happening... Maybe Opaline found the past self of one member of
Team Light, or maybe the past self of Natasha...
He really missed Natasha a lot... Maybe he'd find her here too..

The Blue Blur himself was nearby the two as well, his vibrant
blue spikes made him a bit hard to miss really, that and his
loud talking whenever he wasn't stuffing his mouth full with his
favourite food; The Chilidog.
"-Yeah! That's right! He was fifty meters high and I still
kicked his tail into next year!" Sonic said loud and proud,
holding his arms out in the air, as the group of kids in front
of him clapped and cheered before being pulled away from the
hedgehog by their parents so they could continue on with their
day.
With all of the recent things going on all around, Sonic still
seemed pretty relaxed and chill about everything, downing down
yet another Chilidog, finishing up his platter before he put his
hands together above his head and stretched out his arms while
standing on the tips of his toes to also stretch his legs.
After the stretch he let his limbs fall back to his sides
freely.
He fixed up his brown scarf before looking around, not too sure
on where to hit next.
That's when he heard Shadow, or what sounded like him at least,
he looked about finally spotting him after a few turns, he
lifted a hand and gave a wave, "Faker! How ya been?" He called
out to him, Future Shadow was a bit too far away for Sonic to
notice it wasn't exactly the Shadow he knew.

Agent Mirrors looked at Sonic when he heard the voice. "Sonic
Maurice Hedgehog, you are now under the protection of Team
Ex-Society and Team Dark," he told the blue hedgehog as eh held
up his badge, "GUN has reason to believe you carry vital
information on your person and thus we are to escort you to the
Phoenix Temple of Manux in Knothole Forest." He sounded very
serious, like live or death situation. "The information in the
note on your person holds the survival of a whole species."

Terios stopped upon hearing Sonic's voice; why wasn't his future
self here if he was still recognized? He shook his head, before
listening to Agent Mirrors relay what had been assigned to both
Team Light and Team Ex-Society (even though Mirrors called his
team Team Dark, and continued to call him by Shadow, which was
perfectly okay), which was to hopefully find the Time Phoenixes,
and also if Sonic was found, to escort him to Manux's temple,
which he could remember still...
At least, that was the joint mission for his and Mirrors's
teams. But the extra one mission for Team Light was to help
those of the past (aka present) fight off Luna's forces and Luna
herself.. And his own, personal mission, just only his, was to
try to find either version of Natasha in this past.. He had a
fleeting feeling Opaline might have found the past version of
Natasha..
He stayed where he was, but then came closer, gaining a serious
expression as he crossed his arms.

Sonic looked at Agent Mirrors and blinked, "What the what?" He
said, squinting his eyes slightly to get a better look at the
badge Mirrors was holding up to him, "Dude, I don't need no
protection. And how do you know my full name?" He asked,
crossing his arms and tapping his right foot up and down, a
slight frown upon his face as he looked at the bat.
He then held up his hands at the last part, "Woah, woah, dude,
calm down" He gave a laugh, clearly he wasn't exactly taking all
of this too seriously, but then again,he didn't really know what
they where on about here.
"You want the information? Here, it's that; Sonic is way past
kool and handsome" He said, making a 'gun' with his fingers and
pointing it at mirrors before making a clicking noise and giving
a wink, "You go have fun telling that one to GUN".
He looked over at Shadow, "Don't be shy Faker the only thing
I'll bite is a Chilidog with the works, you with Agent Batsy
over here?" He asked Future Shadow, pointing a thumb at Future
Mirrors, still not seeing that Shadow was not the one he quite
knew.

Agent Mirrors rolled his eyes, stupid teenager. "The note you
have on your person decides the fate of a whole species if it
falls into the clutches of the Dark Phoenix that race is doomed
and I'll guarantee that he'll kill off Phoenix Shapeshifter.
The knight you treated to ice cream earlier. Do I make myself,
Hedgehog!?" In his younger days, the bat would've been less
serious. Things had changed since those days however.

"Faker.. you have to listen to him... I'd rather have our world
not go to hell again... Please, just listen for once..." he said
to Sonic, his crimson gaze much more serious than Mirrors's, and
his voice sounding older and deeper than the younger Shadow who
had been here a while ago. "I'm not being shy... I'm rather
implying that you should take this seriously... or you might not
see me, longer fur or not, ever again. Your world is under the
threat of creatures called the Shadow Minions and their leader
Luna, and also a phoenix called Dark-Ness. They have the
potential to take over Mobius, and destroy it too. If you can't
take my words seriously, Sonic... I'm asking you to. Your choice
if you want this world lost to them.."
As Terios said that, he seemed way more serious than he'd ever
seemed to anyone, sighing deeply before adding to Sonic, "And,
Sonic... I'm just Terios now.. if you want a name to figure out
who's the future and who's the past..."

"Are you threatening me Pal?" Sonic asked his face now wearing a
frown to Mirrors, "You wanna hurt her or any of my friends,
you're going to have to go through me first". Her crossed his
arms again, "Look, I don't even know what you're talking about,
what note?".
He looked to 'Shadow' finally realising it wasn't his 'Faker'.
He pointed a finger at him "Hey... You're not Faker... Who ARE
you? His Number one fan or something? You did all that to look
like him?" He asked, he frowned more, "Guys, what are you even
ON about here? See the world go to hell? A note?" He shook his
head, his blue spikes swaying as he did so, "I don't have no
note and the world won't be going to hell with me around
Not-Shadow" He said, "Shadow minions? Luna? Dark-Ness? They
sound like all the other losers I smash, where are they? I'll
take them out right now" Sonic said with a confident grin.

"Left glove just under the cuff, she slid it just enough not for
you to feel it and her brother unable to see it." Agent Mirrors
stated, his left hand dropping to his dart pistol. To Sonic, it
looked like the bat was simply put a hand on his hip but Terios
knew better. He knew how the bat hid his weapons nowadays, hell
for all the black hedgehog knew the vampire bat hat a god damn
bazooka and rocket launcher stashed on his person.
