A Little Getaway

Natasha sat in the castle gardens alone, half-asleep as she
waited for a certain hedgefox and his fiancé to show up. How
long had she been sitting there; two, three hours? It was
certainly a while, but who could blame anyone for that when you
were sending for the prince of an enyltirely different
dimension. Not this woman.
So, dozed off she had, basking in the sunlight as the scent of
tulips and orchids wafted by her nose ever so pleasantly. Off in
the distance, a massive basket lay quiet, some ropes and
supplies inside but nothing much more. One would wonder what it
was for unless they took note of the gas jets connected to its
frame, a hot air balloon was what it was, a key dangling from
its chassis and shining brightly in the sun, its brass coating
twinkling with the utmost ease. A trip had been planned, a very
special one indeed.

A portal would open up on one of the pathways of the gardens and
a white hedgehog wearing a dress that was dark blue on the top
half and white on the bottom half stepped out, the dress a
signification of unity between herself and her husband she liked
to call it. But where was Alt? That question was answered right
behind her by the dark blue figure surrounded by the light blue
light of Celestia's psychokinesis, literally she was pulling him
along with it, it had been to the amusement of a few Anti-Mobius
palace guards whom quickly stifled laughter as the Princess had
passed by them, she honestly looked and felt embarrassed at
having to pull her husband-to-be along like this. Nevertheless
Natasha, her mother-in-law's friend, had asked them both to come
along, so come along they would!
The sound of a set of pink heels could be heard against the
stone as Cel walked along the path towards the main part of the
castle, not realising that Natasha was in the gardens, though
soon enough she spotted the large balloon and went towards it in
curiosity, on approach she saw the bench that Natasha was asleep
on. With a slight smile on her face she used her powers to move
Alt onto the bench and then let go of him, putting him on the
opposite side of the bench. The hedgehog's psychokinesis blocked
sounds that anyone trapped in it was making as well as movement
so as soon as the light blue 'hold' was removed from Alt, he
began to let off a light snore. Celestia sat on the arm of the
bench, waiting for either of the sleepers to wake up. She wasn't
impatient, and while she waited she had a psychic conversation
with a few of her old DCM teammates.

Luckily, she Cel didn't have to wait for long. Natasha's ear was
twitching from even just her footsteps, so sitting down next to
here was more than enough to wake her up. As she sleepily rubbed
her eyes and smiled at Cel, she had to pause and hold her mouth
shut to keep herself from laughing. "Did you drag him out here
like this?" she tittered, trying her best to be polite for the
girl.

Celestia couldn't help but smile slightly at Natasha's
tittering. [I]"S-Sorry."[/I] she said, though she didn't seem
upset. Her slight smile was still there actually. [I]"A few of
my old job teammates called me up and asked me to help them out
with a problem they were having, and Alt was insistent on
joining the fray to make sure I didn't end up hurt."[/I] Cel
leaned over and kissed the Hedgefox's cheek. [I]"He's
come..."[/I] she could feel herself welling up. [I]"He's come a
long way from what he once was."[/I] the hedgehog wasn't just
referencing Alt's previous lifestyle with his cottage and
privately owned prison, but the anti didn't even have a loyalty
bone in him when he was first in a relationship with her,
constantly going behind her back with two female wolves. The duo
had been on/off several times, this had came back into Cel's
mind when Alt had first asked her back to him at DCM HQ just
before the zone collision with the Shadow future which had
caused her to turn him away, but the second time, she came to
understand how broken he was, how much he needed somebody that
he had stuck by for a long time, and how much she needed him
too...
[I]"He wore himself out in the situation."[/I] she continued in
explanation. [I]"So I would leave him to sleep, then we received
word that you wanted to see us. and with how kind you are and
how you're a friend to us, we weren't going to say no."[/I]
Celestia was starting to become a bit worried with what she was
telling Natasha, somewhat scared that she was going to be upset
for making Celestia pull Alt out when he was exhausted. [I]"I
couldn't get him to even open an eye so I brought him along the
way I did. I found it a nice test of my powers somewhat really
to see how long and how far I can carry a mobian, so thank
you."[/i] she said to the cat, her smile now more than slight.
[I]"He'll be fine. Alter is very capable and I can pass on any
messages that you require passed on when he wakes up."[/I] she
pointed out. [I]'So what did you want us for Natasha?"[/I] she
asked her, she guessed that it had something to do with the hot
air balloon close by, but that didn't give the full story.

Natasha smiled even more herself as Celestia recapped the entire
story, nodding as she said 'He's come a long way from what he
once was'. She was glad that she had been able to come, and glad
she had managed to bring Alt. "Heheheh, if you really want to
test those powers, you should try carrying me after I've eaten
supper!" Cel was one determined little cookie. In fact, it
almost distracted the queen from hearing her ask why she had
sent for them.
Trying to be polite, since they were royalty of another
dimension, she clasped her hands together behind her back, her
tail swaying as she spoke. "Well, I sent for you two because...
I know you two helped to defend my castle during the separatist
uprising. Without you two and the others, the situation could
have been quite different. So I've been slowly... getting
everyone gifts." That was when she leaned forward and took Cel
by her shoulders, kissing her forehead like the mother she was
to everyone. "For you two, I was a little stumped at first;
then, I thought... why not a little honeymoon getaway for you?"
