The Phoenixes

(Warning, it's incredibly long since I go into their history)
These are Deities that have been gone from Mobius for thousands
of years and for the most part only reside in the Astral Aurora
Plains. However there are two that are actually on Mobius,
Darkenlight and Lightanis. (See their Bios for why.) Though
now some of them will come and see what the world they watch
over has done recently. Their leader is Constaladin, Phoenix of
Constellations, whose mate is Sunterra, the Mother Phoenix. And
can die if their injuries are too great, they have no will to
live, or their ability to revive is locked (Darkenlight).
Constaladin, Sunterra, Galaxin, and Baldur are not from the
Mobius Dimension originally. These four are originally from a
dimension that is only known as the Phoenix Dimension. Having
been four of the thirteen sucked through a dimensional rift that
transported them to the Mobius Dimension; it was Constaladin who
decided to make their new home Mobius as he was the oldest and
his father had been leader in their home dimension. However
they were in for some competition, thirteen Celestial Dragons
had also being sucked out of their dimension. This would start
a war that lasted for many years until Constaladin and Cratuk
made a truce to end the bloodshed. Only five Phoenixes and five
Celestial Dragons survived the war which surprisingly didn’t
destroy Mobius as it was in the Astral Aurora Plain only. Of
the five Phoenixes who survived, Nix had revealed to be pregnant
with two. She sadly perished shortly after laying the two eggs.
This was when Sunterra became known as the Mother Phoenix as
she took up caring for the two. This would be when a nursery
would be constructed to allow the eggs to be hatched safely.
The two that hatched became known as Polaris and Borealis. And
it wasn’t long after those two hatched that Sunterra became
pregnant with Lightanis. Constaladin and Baldur taught the two
boys about the history and how to do other things a Phoenix
needed to know. Not long after the two boys matured to the age
to learn flight and Lightanis had hatched, Sunterra became
pregnant with Dark-Ness. Constaladin was quite the proud father
already with Lightanis, who learned quickly about practically
everything, but when he was told he’d have a son; his joyful
cries could be heard by anyone in a million mile radius. Baldur
would too become a proud father as Galaxin (you thought this one
was a male didn’t you, nope!) became pregnant with Clock and
Museina. Soon after Dark-Ness and Clock had hatched, Sunterra
became pregnant with Darkenlight. The final child of the
Phoenixes was Lovelace; this was when Galaxin perished
unfortunately. Baldur was stricken with grief and became
distant. Clock took care of his siblings and became very
serious during the time.
Constaladin tried to get his dear friend and brother in arms to
come back but failed. Baldur would later die from what most
thought as a broken heart. This hit Constaladin hard; he became
quite strict and serious and refused to have anymore children
for fear of loosing his beloved Sunterra. This saddened
Sunterra but she remained strong and decided to take the
children on a little vacation to the world below. All of them
fell in love with it and its people, especially a tribe of what
they came to know as the Knuckles Tribe.
While this was going on, Constaladin was approached by Gaius
(King of the Mobian Gods). “I see you have been settling in,
great traveler,” he says to the giant bird before him.
Constaladin let out a sigh as a response. Though after many
visits, the two became as close as brothers. And this was when
Sunterra returned with the children, who were all mature now.
With Constaladin back to his old self, things went back to
joyous peace. Gaius became a regular face around the place,
with his visits he taught everyone about chaos energy. This
energy was quite similar to what was in the Phoenix Dimension,
thus they all mastered it quickly. However the Mobius Dimension
born Phoenixes mastered it quicker, even having a heightened
sense to it.
Unfortunately, Borealis became so intone with it that he
transported himself in the form of an Aurora through the many
Plains of Mobius. He wouldn’t be able to return until the
Winter Solstice, which became a holiday to celebrate his return.
This earned him the title of The Great Aurora Phoenix.
Things became peaceful as each discovered their abilities,
Constaladin even painted markings on the wings of those who
figured out what they could do with these powers to benefit the
world below. This was the Coming of Age Ceremony, the Right of
Passage into full adulthood.
When Lovelace discovered her ability, she was more than happy to
help people find their true love. Though when trying to find
her own, she sparked a rivalry between Dark-Ness and Darkenlight
that would last forever.
Though this peace wouldn’t last long, Darkenlight would cause
the spirit of war to rekindle between the Celestial Dragons and
his kind. This resulted in Constaladin banishing his son to the
world below. Seeing this as wrong, Lightanis chose to go look
for her youngest brother. (See Darkenlight’s and Lightanis bio
for more).
The war was quick to end when Sunterra perished; this caused
Constaladin to unleash his unrelenting grief in the form of
rage. He almost wiped out the Celestial dragons but was stopped
by Gaius; this left only two Celestial Dragons, a male and a
female who became fearful of the Phoenixes.
Now they were thought to actually control things such as the
rising and setting of the Sun by the ancient Mobians and
Overlanders. This was a coincidence as they would appear when
these events occurred to ensure the flow of chaos energy during
these events ran smoothly. And if a modern Mobian or Overlander
were to ask them about their abilities, they will say they
control it; this because they do not know about the modern
generation having figured it out. However they are much more in
tune with raw chaos energy than any other race, but this limits
them as the modern chaos energy is too refined for them to tap
into.

While most so their intelligence in things such as mathematics
or strategy, some so no signs of that intelligence. However all
Phoenixes are highly intelligent, it takes a while for some to
figure this out as the Book that contained most of this
knowledge is hidden away somewhere.*
