Smacking him made him even more enraged, the Phoenix's flames
brightened as he let out a primal shriek that everyone in this
whole ruin could hear. He heard Ajax's screams and was on that
trail like a hound to a fox. His flames singing the walls and
floor and ceiling, was this hall shrinking?

" Happy to help Louis. Now Veira use volt tackle." Blaze replied
as he fired another flame slash from his sword. Veira grumbled a
bit before charging the golem wile in a ball of lightning.

The halfling continues to attack and distract the golem so the
others can really hurt it. If one saw the look on his face, they
would see that he was enjoying this. A strong opponent... chance
for materials... he couldn't be much happier!

A few more placed flame slashes and Veira used multiple
lightning attacks to attack the golem. Hopefully it would be
dead soon at Blaze could hear screams further inside.

The golem wasn't able to stand their barrage, and quickly fell
on its side lifelessly. However, much to what would be Louis'
disapproval, it faded away in smoke. However, Ajax's screams
where still there...
The walls around Darkenlight 'were' getting smaller. At least,
to him they were; to everyone else, they would seem perfectly
normal, but in his rage the gasses were messing with his brain
more. By the time he reached the end, it seemed like there was
only a tiny hole that he couldn't fit through; unfortunately,
that was real, but through it, he could see Ajax, the real Ajax,
having his body pierced with small spikes, his blood staining
his clothes and dripping to the floor as he was tied to a
pillar.

The thing about Phoenixes, primal rage, and friends in danger
that wall was nothing but a thing to kill. So Darkenlight
punched the damn thing, shrieking as he did. Eventually he
started to kick it too, hell he rammed it with his god damn
skull. It was thick enough anyway so he didn't feel a thing.

After dropping the golem and watching it fade away, it was time
to head onward and save their friends. The screaming was pretty
loud so it was easy to hear. Veira led the charge, and Blaze
followed close behind her getting closer to the sreams.

While Louis was unhappy about the golem turning into smoke, he
did hear the screams. He quickly decided to follow Veira and
Blaze to aid their friends. Besides, there'd be time to find
materials later.

Slowly the screams began to die down, but not before the three
managed to make it to Ajax, whom was still pierced with metal
spikes, unable to help himself as he had been tied down to the
pillar in the middle of the room. The spike wounds oozed with
blood, saturating his clothes with red as it dripped down his
arms and legs; it was a miracle he hasn't passed out yet.
The wall between him and Darkenlight was no match for the
phoenix's fury, and crumbled as he smashed it repeatedly, harder
and harder. Ajax was slumped before him, grunting in pain as the
spikes were pushed further into him by unknown force, causing
the wounds to widen slowly.

Darkenlight was on those spikes as soon as that wall crumbled,
he gripped them. All anyone could see in the Phoenix's eyes was
pure unbridled rage, his flames moved away from Ajax the best
they could. His intent was to melt these forsaken spikes,
probably cauterizing the wounds as he did so. The Phoenix would
burn himself out of energy soon but he'd rather be out of energy
than loose his closest friend.
