Gabriel closed his eyes and followed behind, a series of
clicking noises came from his throat. His ears swiveled around
as he used his echolocation. The bat could feel something was
here, something that had already taken hold of him.

Ajax and Natasha knew it was Gabriel making the clicking, but
the bat's echolocation probably wasn't perfect. Still, as they
walked on, he would notice the vibrations signalling numerous
trapdoors and hidden hallways.
Unfortunately, it was too late to warn the others, as Natasha
had already stepped on a pressure plate as the group entered the
room, a single unexplained torch lighting it. "Huh... What
next?"
The Queen's question was quickly answered as smoke bombs dropped
from the ceiling, exploding and sending fragments about that
would stop even Gabriel's echolocation. In the shroud, several
trapdoors opened, sending both Ajax and Natasha down in away in
surprised silence, separated into their own rooms.
However, back in the main, something odd was left in the wake of
the smoke; Ajax and Natasha... Still seemed to be there. The
looked unaffected, and seemed perfectly normal; what they didn't
know was that the smoke was mixed with a strange gas that was
messing with their brains; what happened from here on, no one
would know.

Gabriel almost fell in one himself, but his wings had opened and
held him up by the wing claws. He let out a deafening screech
as it was hurting him to force himself up out of the trap.
"There's traps everywhere you idiots!" he hissed as he got
himself up.

The mirror images of Ajax and Natasha quickly covered their ears
as Gabriel screeched, as if they actually were deafened by it.
"Yeah, traps; could you not blow my ears out, though?" They
sounded like them too. That's when it looked like another trap
went off, and what looked like a dart stuck 'Natasha' in the
back of her neck. "Ow! Shit, another?" Then, an odd bubbling
could be heard... And the mirrored feline began swelling. Before
anyone would have been able to act, she was a balloon kitty,
having blown out several feet before... Popping.
There was only one indicator that something was wrong; there was
no blood.

Gabriel bit his own arm to snap himself out of whatever had
happened to him at the entrance. "I don't smell blood from
them, they are imposters," he shouted although muffled. He
pulled out one of his pistols and aimed it at the mirrored Ajax,
finger pulling back on the trigger.

However before Gabriel could fire the bullet, an all too
familiar violet Phoenix came flying in. He hadn't heard Gabriel
or seen anything prior to Gabriel drawing his pistol and aiming
at Ajax. He let out a ferocious shriek and dove at the bat.
"You leave my friends alone, vampire!" he snarled.

Gabriel was taken down to the ground by the angry bird. His
pistol having been knocked away in the end.

"Hey, cut it out!" The mirrored Ajax approached the two and
stood between them; although, he didn't touch them. "Can we
focus on the fact that Natasha just fucking blew up?! The Queen
of Dremsilaar just popped like a god damn balloon!" Upon further
inspection... It seemed he was covered in blood after all. "This
place is fucking with your heads!"
A scream could be heard further down the halls; if Gabriel used
his echolocation, he would notice there were no traps that way.
"Get off me, you things!" It was Natasha; at least, it sounded
like it. 'Ajax' handed Gabriel his pistol back; "Come on, you
two; that might be Tasha! She might still be alive!"

Darkenlight blinked when he heard the news, he sat down. Ears
lowering as he just stared at Ajax, he closed his eyes and
looked away. That is until he heard Natasha's voice; he was
gone in a heartbeat. "Natasha!" he shouted as he went down
where the voice had come from.

"No traps down there," the bat stated as he used his
echolocation. He sighed and rolled his eyes at the phoenix
before heading off after him. Gabriel would bite his hand ever
so often when he felt the entity trying to take over again.
