Natasha was still laying on top of Shadow, her tail swaying in
the air as she purred loudly. She must have been awake at some
point though, as the television had been turned off and a small
cart was in the room with a coffee pot, some cups, sugar cubes,
creamer, and stirring sticks.
As she felt him move under her, she smiled and giggled.
"Morning, Shadsy have some good sleep?" She opened her eyes,
which seemed to twinkle at him, and kisses his cheek lovingly
before nuzzling against his chest.

He remained silent as he felt movement on top of him; Natasha
was indeed still in the room, and he flipped his head a bit to
see the coffee cart near the bed and the TV off.
"Must have been if you laying on me is real," he answered with a
yawn as he was kissed on the cheek, accidentally purring when
his chest was once again nuzzled. "N-Natasha, please quit it! I
just woke up!" he then added in a somewhat playful/teasing tone,
feeling like he was being tickled as his accidental purring
continued. He wouldn't even note the random Lori Chao that had
followed the two last night and was now blushing madly and
trying to leave on the shirt tail of the very servant that had
brought in the coffee (but failing since it kept falling off).
(I'm a bad Gaia for adding the chao part Xp)

The queen giggled as Shadow teased her, and she teased him back,
poking his nose before rolling off of him; she only then just
noticed the chao, although she didn't think much of it. Rather,
she simply wanted to say hello to the little one, so she got off
the bed and picked the chao up gently, smilling. "Hello there,
little cutie; how are you?" She gave it a pet on the head before
cradling it in one arm and pouring the cups of coffee with her
other, sitting back down on the edge of the bed and snuggling
the chao before kissing Shadow. "Coffee's ready, goofball,
hehehe."

His ears became bright red when Natasha noticed the Chao after
the cat poked his nose, and then kissing her back once the
coffee was ready. This was sort of nice, to say. Really nice of
Natasha to let him be here, to kiss him and such... He really
loved her, and nothing, not even Natasha's odd appetite for
eating criminals, could change that at all.
He took one of the cups of coffee after that, and sat up on the
bed, revealing a bedhead of his quills. They looked fluffy and
messed up from sleep.. one might even say he looked hilarious.
(Ajax, if you don't mind, this is your extra birthday gift here.

Natasha had to stifle her laughter as she saw Shadow's case of
bed-head; oh how she adored him and his sweet nature. Gently she
gave him another peck on the cheek before tickling the chao's
little tummy, hoping to elicit a smile from the little one.
Still, her mind drifted back to Shadow; she had never expected
him to stay with her, to kiss her and hug her, to support her
despite even her knack for devouring crooks and goons. She never
once had believed anyone would have been so loving, besides Ajax
at least but he was her captain of the guard. Shadow... wasn't a
guard, or a captain, or any of that. He was her close friend,
her beloved, and she never wanted him to leave; she wanted to
kiss him every morning, to snuggle with him every night, and
both love and be loved unconditionally. She blushed at that
thought; she was a helpless, fat feline who just happened to
find her true love... but she wouldn't have it any other way.

He produced a confused look at the feline queen trying to stifle
her laughter, before lifting his free hand to his quills, to
feel the all tangled up and such. He made a :< look as he put
the coffee down on a nightstand near the bed, and then taking
out a comb and trying to fix his quills quickly before anyone
else but the Chao saw.
Said Chao was producing a very cute, but odd, laughing noise,
its odd ball on its head now a heart, as it was tickled by the
queen, no longer caring to leave right now. This morning was
already interesting...

Smiling, the queen happily continued to tickle the chao,
marveling over how cute it was; and it looked a lot like Lori,
too. Gently she gave it a kiss on it's forehead before looking
over to Shadow, combing out the mess that was his quills.
Natasha simply giggled and walked up behind him, the chao still
in her arms, before beginning to groom his quills as well.
"Sorry for giggling, but you looked so silly; still, I think you
looked kind of cute like that, too." She gave him yet another
peck on the cheek; already, this morning was the nicest that she
had had in many years.

Shadow stayed silent as Natasha came over and started to groom
him as well... He felt great.. love towards the cat, stopping
his combing to let Natasha do it all. The peck was nice too; he
blushed slightly at it, but he softly said with an awkward
smile, "I d-don't get bed-head often... that's why I get mildly
embarrassed and surprised when people laugh.. But I guess I'm
gonna get used to it then, huh?"

"Mhm," Natasha replied with a smile, taking the time to
carefully and gently groom her beloved hedgehog. As she
finished, she spun him around and kissed him happily on the
lips, sitting the chao on his lap. "Bed-head or not, you're
still my Shadow." That was when her stomach grumbled, and she
blushed as she scratched her belly gently with one hand and
hugged Shadow with the other. She could ignore her hunger for
now; she loved Shadow too much to care.

He blushed as well when he was kissed, but he kissed back yet
again, happiness reflected in the crimson eyes of the
black-and-crimson hedgehog.
But he raised an eyebrow when Natasha's belly growled, realizing
that she must have not eaten yet... He also decided to ignore
that for now, hugging Natasha back, with the Lori Chao trying to
go back to Natasha's lap and not Shadow's. It didn't mind
Shadow.. but his energy felt too overwhelming.
