"Bingo!" Natasha quickly pulled off the blindfold, exposing his
face entirely to the heat of the embers. "It took a few days...
But I spare no expense for my friends." She smiled and gave him
a pat on his back, pulling a pair of tongs over and holding them
out to him. "You want to test it?"

Louis grins and takes the tongs, looking over the different
materials. "Oh, I'm gonna have fun here~ Stay for a bit, I'll
have something for ya shortly." He immediately gets to work on
some sort of small blade.

Smiling, Natasha was happy to oblige, pulling a stool over from
one of the corners and sitting in it, watching him as he
performed his craft. She was happy that he was so excited to
have his own forge, but she wondered what it was exactly that he
was making... Especially since he said it was 'for her'.

He grins and pulls a small yellow crystal from his pockets. He
found it during a material hunt, and thought that the energy
about it would be perfect in a weapon, so it'd give it a little
extra "charge" to it. He mixes it with the high quality steel,
then pours it into the blade mold to set as he works on the
hilt.

Seeing the crystal, Natasha became even more intrigued; perhaps
she should ask Louis be the castle smith? He seemed to be
greatly experienced with the materials, and was working quickly,
efficiently. The queen was anxious to see the finished
product... That settled it, she was going to ask him to be the
castle smith.

He grins as he finishes the blade: a small dagger with a golden
hue to it. "Hmm... Royal Slasher... a light dagger." He hands it
to Natasha with a smile. "The blade has a small amount of light
elemental damage when you attack someone with it. Perfect to use
to defend yourself. And it's small enough to hide in your
clothes. As an added effect, if it charges enough energy, it can
heal minor wounds." He grins, as this was one of his best works
yet. He knew the light element can both hurt and heal, so the
dagger should be perfect.

Natasha took the blade in her hands gently, inspecting it with a
smile on her face. "Thank you, Louis; it is a beautifully
crafted piece... Which reminds me..." She now glanced from the
dagger to the half-ling, holding his hand gently. "How would you
like to be the castle blacksmith, Louis?" She smiled as she
said; she wondered if he would squee in joy, or more calming nod
with a smile. Either way, she almost knew that he would accept
her offer. He obviously enjoyed the craft, the warmth of the
forge, the smell of the coals. This was a proposition they would
both enjoy.

He grins, and it looks like there's a bit of a twinkle in his
eyes. "I would be honored to! Now, the healing charge goes up to
5 charges a day, and sunlight or moonlight causes the charges
to, well, charge. You can heal greater wounds by using more
charges." Seems like he will have plenty of ideas for weapons
and other metalworking items.

"Interesting," the queen murmured. She was deeply intrigued by
the possibilities of what kind of 'enchantments' Louis could
produce with these weapons. And, with her guards wielding such
equipment... The kingdom would be safe, for sure. "If I may
ask... How did you enchant the dagger?"

It was from the element crystal I used. As long as I have those,
I can make more like them. There come in red, light blue, green,
tan/brown, dark blue, purple, gold/yellow, and black. Some
materials also have elements built into them. Like obsidian
often has fire in it." He smiles, glad he explored so much.
