His New Forge

It had been not too long since the separatist uprising had
occurred. With everything that happened, Natasha felt indebted
to her friends; they had done so much to help her, without much
of a thought. The bloodshed had been unwanted, but necessary,
and one of those fighters who caused it was loyal; Louis. It was
particularly hard to think of some way to repay the half-ling,
but she was determined to give him a gift, as well as everyone
else. So, she pulled some strings, and prepared something
special for him outside, just within the castle walls. Now all
that was left was for him to arrive; hopefully he had received
his notice.

The halfling was currently trying to find his way to the queen.
He hasn't been in the castle long, so he hasn't quite figured
out where everything was yet. Heck, almost got long during the
night, trying to find his way to a bathroom! Still, he was
determined to find his way.

Eventually, one of the stewards found the confused half-ling and
smiled; the poor guy was lost, again. "Are you perhaps looking
for the queen?" he asked gingerly, hoping to be of service;
everyone knew of the gifts Natasha had prepared for everyone,
and he knew that today she was giving Louis his. It would please
her majesty greatly for him to guide Louis to his destination,
having been such a valued friend to her.

"That would be appreciated. Thanks..." He was grateful for the
assistance... he would probably need a map soon, at least until
he can find his way on his own.

The steward smiled and nodded, turning around to lead him off to
Natasha, who was waiting patiently. As she saw the two approach,
she smiled; "Louis, it's good to see you; I assume you got your
notice?" She strutted over to him and gave him a traditional hug
and greeting, waving off the steward with a nod of approval; he
had indeed made her majesty happy. "So... Are you wondering why
I sent for you?.."

Louis hugs back a bit, before politely bowing to the queen. "I
got your message... Is there something you needed me to do?" He
was trying to be polite to her, and not say something rude on
accident...

"No, actually... It's something rather special, just for you."
As he bowed, she gave him a kiss on his forehead. "Now, come on,
stand up; we have a little bit of a walk." Quickly, she
blindfolded him, gently taking his hand and pulling him along to
his 'present'. She hoped he would enjoy it, as it had taken a
bit of time to figure out what to get him... And to prepare it.

He blushes a bit from the kiss, and was surprised by the
blindfold. He quietly follows her, trying to pay attention to
where they were going, just in case he wanted to head back
there.

After a few minutes of walking, Louis would notice a change in
temperature; it was getting warmer... and it smelled of hot
coals and ash. Luckily, Natasha was not in her scarlet dress,
but rather the outfit she had worn to the theatre; she was less
worried about it being covered in soot, as it could be washed
more easily. "So... Any guesses?" she cooed as they approached a
large, ornate forge with dozens of ingots.

He sniff a bit, then smiles softly. "Hmm... smells like hot
coals... and its warm here... maybe a forge?" He grins as he
says that, as he had plenty of ideas on what to make.
