Natasha paused. "That would be the bell tower. Is that where you
want to start from?" She was giddy about the chance to ride on
his back, to fly through the air with him. Perhaps, she thought,
he just wanted to start from a high point. "Come on, I'll take
you there." She smiled and walked out the room to lead him on.

Darkenlight followed her without so much as a chirp. His
feathers ruffled as he thought about flying, specifically the
dive.

As the two ascended the tower, a few small birds could be heard
chirping in the relative safety of the bell's high mount.
Through one last door there was the bell itself, a massive hulk
of a thing, but that was not their interest. Natasha pushed a
window outwards and looked to the sky before climbing out and
standing carefully on the edge, adorned with corinthian designs.
"Here we are," she murmured softly.

Darkenlight climbed out with her, he seemed accustomed to being
on small ledges. He crouched down, turning so she could climb
on his back. What was this young Phoenix planning? Especially
with that spark in his eye.

Hesitantly at first, Natasha climbed onto Darkenlight's back,
holding tight to him as best as she could without getting in the
way of his wings; she had seen the sparkle in his eye, but she
did not have any idea exactly what he was planning... yet...

As soon as Natasha was in place, providing he adjusted his wings
for her. Once he was sure she was secure, the young Phoenix
allowed himself to tip backwards off the edge. Darkenlight had
his wings in a freefall position, the ground was fast
approaching. And just when it looked like they'd smack into the
pavement, the violet Phoenix opened his wings and swooped up,
nearly knocking over a guard on his way. The only question now
was where was this ride going to take Natasha, only Darkenlight
knew as he leveled out and headed due west after encircling the
castle. His wings adjusting ever so slightly to air currents,
even his tail adjusted as he used it to steer.

Natasha trusted Darkenlight with her life, so at first, she
wasn't scared at all by the fall... Until they got closer... and
closer... At that one moment, she feared that maybe the phoenix
had felt humiliated, and planned to kill her!.. Right up until
she spread his wings and swooped upward, as she barely held
herself together, screaming in both fear and excitement. Once
they were in the air, she looked about in wonder; to see her
kingdom from a bird's eye view was a true wonder. Still, in the
back of her mind, she wondered where exactly Darkenlight was
taking her.

(If you listen to the following song while reading, you get a
good feel of this post,

Soon the rocky cliffs of Moors came into view, waterfalls and a
world of green. Darkenlight looked at Natasha and smiled before
diving down. Through holes in the rocky cliffs he flew and
turning sideways where two cliffs almost touched. Until a
mountainous cliff that breached the clouds below the headwinds
came into view, that's when he began to climb up into the sky.
He shot through the clouds, the headwinds now blowing through
his feathers and fur, as well as Natasha's.
However the queen's flight wasn't over just yet, the young
Phoenix was taking her to a place he'd discovered years ago; the
place he hid away until deeming it safe to return. Without
allowing Natasha to say a word, he shot off for that cliff and
specifically a point on the waterfall that glistened down it's
face.
Whoosh! The cool waters washed over them as they shot into a
cave and then into sunlight. Before them now was a grove of
Jacaranda trees, bluish green grass, purple flowers were
everywhere, and the water was violet from the blossoms of the
trees. Only when he found a spot on the highest cliff in this
area, did Darkenlight finally land.

Natasha smiled as the flight went on, enjoying the feel of the
breeze going through her fur. As they dived, she reached her
hand out, just barely touching the cliff face as they passed
through. With their ascension, she took the chance to simply
admire everything she was seeing, and appreciate the fact that
Darkenlight would give her such a chance.
When they finally landed, Natasha climbed off of Darkenlight
carefully, looking out to the Jacaranda trees in awe. "Wow...
This place is beautiful..."

"This is where I hid all those years ago," Darkenlight told her
as he sat down and looked at the sky above, "You are the first
person to have set foot here other than me, this place is
untouched by modern times as few can tread the skies like a
Phoenix can." The Phoenix took a nearby blossom that had fallen
down on the ground; after looking at it for a bit, he held it
out to Natasha.
He waited a bit before touching a flower that was curled up, it
bloomed and the area became a brilliant shade of violet. The
Phoenix looked towards the entrance, what was it he knew about
that was going to happen?
