Gift of Blood(wine)

It had been not too long since the separatist uprising had
occurred. With everything that happened, Natasha felt indebted
to her friends; they had done so much to help her, without much
of a thought. However, there was still the matter of cleanup,
and a lot of blood had been spilt. Still, she had her ideas, and
now she planned to use that blood to thank o e of her friends;
Gabriel. She waited patiently, having sent him notice
beforehand, at the door to the wine cellar; she hoped dearly he
would enjoy the gift she had for him.

Gabriel, having received the notice, was quick to respond. The
bat arrived and was lead to the wine cellar; he was curious as
to what was going on. That and he had been blindfolded,
something about a surprise from her majesty herself.

The queen smiled happily as she saw her friend being lead to
her, blindfolded even; now it was just down to seeing if he
enjoyed her surprise. "Thank you, steward; I'll take him from
here." She gingerly opened the cellar door and took Gabriel's
hand, leading him down the stairs carefully. "I bet you're
wondering why I sent for you, yes?.."

"I am indeed, your majesty," Gabriel replied not even trying to
feel his way around as he trusted Natasha enough to lead him
without a problem. His nose had been covered as well as it was
better to fully surprise him.

Natasha's smile grew, and she even tittered a little as they
reached the cellar floors, which were warmer than what one might
expect. "Well, I've been trying to thin of ways to thank you and
the others for helping me and saving Dremsilaar. So..." She
uncovered the bat's nose, and the smell of blood would fill his
nostrils. Blood and... Something else... Wine? "I'll let you
guess what I have for you before I show it to you," she giggled.

"Bloodwine? O negative bloodwine?" he guessed after a few
sniffs. Gabriel was practically drooling, his thirst bubbling
up as the smell of so much blood was somewhat unleashing the
beast that he kept locked up a majority of the time. If one
were to take off the blindfold, they would see his pupils were
constricted a bit.

"A good guess, Gabriel!" She could barely contain how happy she
was to see him eagerly sniffing. However, the bigger surprise
would come from when she removed his blindfold; he was not shown
just a few bottles, but entire massive vats of bloodwine, made
specifically for him from the blood of the separatists and other
assorted criminals. "I know you're quite fond of blood,
especially the O negative, so I took the liberty of having an
entire store of bloodwine made for you!" She let go of his hand,
smiling at him; "Feel free to have as much as you like, dear!"

Gabriel's eyes grew wide at the vats, he wouldn't need to drink
blood for months, years even after this. He shook his head a
bit to force his instincts back a bit so he could take off all
his weapons. A wise precaution as you don't want a drunken
armed to the fangs vampire in your castle. "Thank you, your
majesty, the bat told her with a slight bow, waiting to be
dismissed to go drink his fill of the bloodwine.

The sight of the joy in Gabriel's eyes pleased the feline as she
took his weapons and set them aside. "Please, there is no need
to thank me; now go be merry with your wine, yes?" She gave him
a pat on the back and took a seat on a stool nearby, wanting to
see him enjoy his gift.

Gabriel bowed again and headed off to the first vat. He found a
spout on one side, laid down and positioned himself so his mouth
was just under it. He gently turned the tap and let the
bloodwine flow into his mouth. He guzzled it down, slowly but
surely getting drunk. Once that vat was finished, he moved on
to the next. His belly not even the least bit swollen.
