Tarotikius raised an eyebrow at the thumbs up, praise was
something nearly unknown to him. He continued slowly to lick
the ice cream, enjoying the happy memories it brought. For a
moment, his red eye seemed flicker to indigo as if the old
Tarotikius was trying to fight his way out of Discord's dark
influential grasp.

"Hm?" Sonic hummed questioningly, noticing Tarotikius' eyes go
from the red to an indigo, something was definitely up there.
But not something Sonic would know.
He gently nudged Phoenix, making sure to tap her too hard on the
arm, he knew how much it sucked to have your ice cream hit the
deck. He then motioned towards her brother with his head
slightly, trying not to make it obvious to Tarotikius.
He then pointed to his own eyes and motioned towards her brother
once more, trying to say 'look at his eyes' without bluntly
saying it to her. Maybe Phoenix knew what was up with the eye
colour change?
He then turned back so he was facing forwards between the two of
them, looking from brother to sister, "So you're siblings huh?"
He questioned, trying to start some friendly conversation.

Phoenix had noticed the eye color change, a soft smile touched
her face. She gave Sonic a look that read 'I'll explain later.'
"We're twins to be honest," she replied getting to the cone.

eat. He only nodded to the sibling question since his mouth was
full of ice cream.

Sonic gave a nod back to Phoenix when she gave him a look to say
that she'll explain it later.
"Twins? Huh, Kool, really. I've got a little buddy who has
'twin' tails, if that counts for anything" He said with a smile.
"Not a twin to anyone else of my knowledge, but hey, he's a
great kid, real bright".
He started doing some stretches, as he waited for the two to
finish enjoying their ice creams, stretching his arms first and
then his speedy legs, "Anything- aside from eating ice creams
now that you've both tried it- you two like to do together? Or
is there anything else you've heard about but never gotten to
eat, or see? I could take you both if ya want, You both seem a
lot happier when you're together like this" He nodded, "And what
kinda sibling doesn't wanna hang out with their brother or
sister when given the chance?"

Phoenix finished her ice cream before her brother but looked
down. "Well this is the first time in a while that we've been
near each other without fighting in years," she replied, ears
lowered. She sounded like that wasn't something she enjoyed.

Tarotikius scoffed at Sonic's words only to grunt and blink for
a bit. His red eye changing to indigo and back, staying on red
after a bit. He finished his ice cream and cleared his throat.
"Okay, we had the ice cream, you had your fun now you two kiss
and then it's off to Dark-Ness with my sister. Sure didn't get
the target but eh I got something better than a kitsune."

Sonic didn't blame Phoenix for sounding like she didn't enjoy
the part on fighting her brother, he wouldn't enjoy fighting
with Tails. And although the fox wasn't blood related like these
two where, he was still very much a brother to Sonic.
He watched the two finish their ice creams, and then bounced
back to standing up right, "Kiss?" He asked his eyes going wide,
as he looked from Tarotikius to Phoenix, "I think you've got it
all wrong with me your sister pal" He shook his head and laughed
softly, before standing in front of Phoenix, blocking her twin
off from her, "You can't go yet, what about some Chilidogs? Ever
tried one? It's like heaven in your mouth" He said with a grin,
before the confident smile faded and he looked aside, "And Uh..
I'd like to know what is 'Dark-Ness' guy is going to do with my
friend here, you could at least share that with me before going"
The blue blue said, looking back up at Taro, keeping firmly in
front of a Phoenix so her brother couldn't take off with her,
not yet.

"Sonic, the deal was after the ice cream I am to go with him,"
Phoenix sternly reminded him. She didn't like it when deals
were altered. "No questions about it, please," she politely
told him as she attempted to get around the blue hedgehog. She
still had her plan after all, this was only prolonging it's
execution.
