Phoenix smiled a bit when whisked away again by Sonic, partially
because she was with Sonic and partially because she was able to
rest. It wasn't long until she saw the ice cream parlor,
sighing with relief. Thoughts of happy moments of earlier came
to her, those icy blue eyes calm.

Tarotikius looked bored, they'd being waiting outside this thing
for what seemed weeks. "Can we just go in!?" he asked
irritably.

Sonic did a small jump and planted his feet on the ground firmly
when he was close enough to the ice cream parlour with the other
two, as they drew closer he let go of Tarotikius but scooped up
Phoenix in his arms, she was rather tired after all.
Taro's irritable comment made Sonic frown, "My hands are full
with your tired sister, you could've at least got the door for
us 'Bro'" He remarked before he used his right foot to kick the
door open, but not to the point that he'd smash it or break it,
he then went inside with Phoenix, not keeping the door open for
her brother as he went in, shooting back a glance as he passed
Tarotikius.
"Do you want what you had before? Or want to try some new
flavours?" The blue hedgehog asked Phoenix, "As for you, point
out which flavours you want too.. Don't worry, I'll pay" He said
to Tarotikius, without looking at him.

"I'll have what I had the last time," Phoenix replied,
attempting to stand on her own. As the rays of dawn peaked in
through a window, she did seem to be stronger.

"Wasn't worried about paying blue britches," the dark Crystal
Phoenix retorted as he slipped inside, "I'll have that Zanzibar
Chocolate, Black Walnut, and Dark Chocolate Raspberry."
Tarotikius had only glanced at the flavors as he was attempting
to remain out of the sunlight.

Sonic nodded to Phoenix, seeing her appear to become slightly
stronger when she was by the light of the windows, Sonic leant
her against the wall by the windows so she could get all the
light she needed.
The hedgehog looked to her brother and raised an eyebrow, "What
did you just call me?" He questioned, before he gave the nice
store owner some rings, "One with the Chocolate Malt and
Mackinac Island Fudge, and the other with the Zanzibar
chocolate, Black walnut and dark chocolate raspberry please,
Thanks pal" As the ice creams where being scooped he looked to
Tarotikius, "A simple 'Thanks Sonic' would've been great" He
stated as he handed him his ice cream with a light frown, before
taking Phoenix's ice cream over to her, "How are ya feeling
Sunshine?" He asked, giving her a nickname related to what was
making her stronger.

Phoenix gently took it, smiling at the nickname she was given.
"Much better, thank you," she replied as she slowly ate her ice
cream. The sparkle was returning in her eyes, overall Phoenix
started to look better.

Tarotikius shrugged and took a cautious bite of the ice cream.
He blinked, the taste was amazing to him but he tried not to
smile or show it. This reminded him of good times back before
Discord had torn a rift between him and Phoenix. He craved more
of this feeling and thus started to eat more of the ice cream,
that is until an unsettling headache nailed him right in the
brain. He partially glared at Phoenix as she had let out a
giggle when she spotted him grimacing in pain. Grumbling he
slowly licked the rest.

Sonic smiled hearing her confirm that she was indeed feeling
better, sunshine and ice cream seemed to be working for her so
far.
Sonic then watched her brother dig into the ice cream, he
crossed his arms watching Tarotikius eat away at the ice cream
like there was no tomorrow, the hedgehog was just waiting for
the brain freeze to kick in.
3...2...1...0..
Sure enough Taro grimaced in pain, making Phoenix giggle, Sonic
let out a soft laugh and patted Tarotikius on the back, "Like I
said to your sister earlier, pal, she did the same thing. Some
things are best taken slow, eating ice cream is one of them, you
don't want another of those brain freezes" He said, pointing at
Taro's head, he had already taken the hint to take it slow
however, as he had started to just slowly lick the rest, "That's
right, you got it" Sonic nodded, shooting him a thumbs up.

Phoenix wished this moment would last forever. Her brother
seemingly returning to his old self and someone possibly from
her shattered memories with her, enjoying a frozen delight.
However she knew that this moment would never be forever, which
made her sigh softly as she got to the cone. She nibbled it,
hoping to prolong this moment of joy.
