Clove had finally made it to the undersea cave just under the
area of those fire crystals. The water was hotter here but he
was used to it. With a sigh, he swam to one of the places where
the water broke into the cave. He surfaced, not far from Kat
and Brizin. To grab the attention of Brizin, he cleared his
throat. The sound echoed a bit before dissipating.

Brizin was helping Kat with collecting the fire crystals when he
heard Clove clear his throat. He looked at the Water Tribe and
grimaced. "What does that irritating fish want now? Where is
he?" he demanded. He looked at Kat and apologized for this
before going to Clove.

"Icxius needs your help, just get in your damn boat and come
with me," Clove retorted, "before I change my mind and decide to
leave." With that Clove dove down and went to the sea just
outside of the shallows of the Isle.

A deep and long sigh came from Brizin, he got more fire crystals
for Kat. Like a whole armload, set them beside her as he left.
Wouldn't be long until he got in his boat and followed Clove to
that cave entrance.

Kat had accumulated quite a few of the fire crystals - probably
more than she could really carry. She glanced down at the small
pile of crystals the fire-user had left, making a mental note to
attempt to use the teleportation spell and send the remaining
crystals back to her hut. While the echidna had more than enough
of the crystals to last her for a few months - possibly for the
rest of the year - she'd hate to waste resources. She may as
well stuff them into her satchel and just deal with the extra
weight.
Just as she began to pack away the crystals, Kat was able to
catch the exchange between the phoenix and...hold on, someone
else was here? She frowned - it wasn't none of her business to
poke her nose into another's affair, she was undeniably curious.
Sighing, she stood, carrying the satchel with her into the
direction Brizin had wandered off to. It wasn't long before she
spotted Brizin, but only managed to catch sight of the Merhog
before it dived back into the water.
"A Mermobian?" she murmured "I thought they were only myths..."
