Heiru was finally able to compose himself, just in time to see
Aria pull off the best thing he'd seen in hundreds of years. He
just lost it, forgetting about his hand basically floating off
on it's own. Probably causing a hallucination of it's own as it
went into one of the arcade machines. The reaper wanted to do
that one where he pounced at the guard again, just because he
wanted to give Aria a great opportunity to scare the hell out of
this guy to the point that he would soil his....were those cargo
shorts? Oh yeah those needed a stain.

The office was like a war zone for horror. There was a random
disembodied arm floating, hallucinations were jumping at him
left and right, he kept hearing eerie noises, a supposed
deactivated animatronic was stalking him, and he could sword the
desk fan almost cut off a finger. And the building itself wasn't
making it any better since he had to reboot all of the systems
back to back. Poor guard was on the verge of a nervous
breakdown, grasping the camera panel for dear life as he flicked
through the security feed. He stopped at the "arcade room,"
catching sight of a white faced thing staring back at the
camera. Yelping, the ocelot threw the panel back on the desk,
only to have a yellow chicken phantom jump at him. He screamed
again, except his voice had gotten so high that only dogs could
hear him at that point. Panting, he glanced at the clock again.
It was 5:58AM! Just two more minutes! He could finally be free
of--
A clanging noise - like something was knocked over - suddenly
came from just outside the office door. It startled the guard,
naturally, causing him to turn towards the door to see what the
noise was. How he wished he didn't. That same golden animatronic
that had been stalking him for the entirety of the night walked
right up to him...stared him directly in the eye...and screeched
as loud as she could.
Welp, there goes a perfectly good pair of cargo pants. An
ear-splitting shriek could be heard all over the complex...and
even around the immediate vicinity. The ocelot was a blur as he
ran right past Aria and right out the exit, the shrieking
following him as he ran out. That was enough to turn Aria into a
cackling mess, so much that she lost complete control of the
animatronic's body and fell into a heap of parts. She even had
tears in her eyes.
"[shadow=red,left]That...was...amazing!![/shadow]" she gasped in
between breaths, her voice distorted and metallic thanks to the
suits voice box.

That clanging noise was actually Heiru cackling so hard that
he'd dropped his dual scythe. He was fazing through the floor
because he was literally rolling as he cackled. His hand came
up to Aria and floated there as if waiting for a high five.
[glow=ghostwhite,2,300]"Let....us...commence....that....again...on..our..next..date!!![/glow]
the reaper's raspy voice broke through his cackles,
[glow=ghostwhite,2,300]"That....was...the...most...fun...I...have..had..in...over..a..century."[/glow]

"[shadow=red,left]Heehee! See how much fun it is to prank the
living?[/shadow]" the spirit bragged, high fiving the reaper
"[shadow=red,left]It's an absolute riot![/shadow]" Eventually,
Aria was able to calm down and recompose herself from her
laughing fit, though she could have sworn she had gained abs
from the slight burning on her abdomen. She finally emerged from
the animatronic's body, turning towards the exit and placing a
hand on her hip.
"[shadow=red,left]Welp,that guy's never comin' back,[/shadow]"
she snickered "[shadow=red,left]I hope his next paycheck will be
enough to get him a new pair of pants! Beeyahaha![/shadow]"

[size=12pt]Heiru eventually recomposed himself as well, picking
up his dual scythe and snatching his hand to reposition it. He
looked at the mess in that poor office chair and on the floor.
[glow=ghostwhite,2,300]"I hope the day guard has a mop, some
disinfectant, and a large bucket,"[/glow] he raspily laughed,
before stating, [glow=ghostwhite,2,300]"ah the joys of not being
able to smell."[/glow] With that he floated over to Aria,
gently grasping her hand and pulling her close. And with that
he went for a kiss sort off, due to his lack of mouth.
[glow=ghostwhite,2,300]Oh Aria, my frightful spook, how you make
my ghostly crystal heart flutter with happiness,[/glow] he told
her through telepathy, [glow=ghostwhite,2,300]You have made my
busy afterlife relaxing and fun. "Could I ask you to be with me
for the rest of eternity?"[/glow] Heiru asked as he knelt, kind
of, holding out what appeared to a ring, with a huge diamond.
Can't say being Death's debt collector doesn't pay well, that
had to be at least a 35 carat rock.

Aria's eyes widened at the sight of the ring; her mouth slowly
opened, but no sound came out per usual, since it was mostly out
of shock. The spirit suddenly had many emotions running through
her mind, most of which she has never experienced since she
began her afterlife. Even when she was alive, she had never met
anyone like Heiru, who enjoyed her mischievousness rather than
shun it, shared laughs, and just accept her for who she was. And
here he was...proposing to her. Could this...really be real...?
"[shadow=red,left]I...I...[/shadow]" she stammered, only to
sudden pounce on the reaper in a tight hug, nuzzling his cheek.
"[shadow=red,left]YES! I will stick with by your side even when
this world expires![/shadow]" Her ethereal voice cracked with
emotion for the first time in a long time as she wiped away a
tear. "[shadow=red,left]Y-you've made his spirit the happiest
ghostie alive...I love you so much Heiruuuu~![/shadow]"

Heiru nuzzled back, gently slipping the ring onto her ghostly
finger. It seemed like all was right in the world at least
until a note appeared in the air. If Heiru could frown, he
would at that moment. His detached hand took the note from it's
place, bringing it up to Heiru's eyes. He sighed as he read the
note. [glow=ghostwhite,2,300]"Ah and the boss sends his
orders,"[/glow] he sighed sadly, [glow=ghostwhite,2,300]"some
poor fool just got hit by a truck and then stumbled around until
falling down a man hole."[/glow] It then dawned on him that it
could possibly be the guy they just scared the chaos out of. He
looked at Aria, his eyes said 'it couldn't be, could it? if so,
whoops.'

The look on Aria's face was enough to say that the two of them -
in the midst of their fun - managed to to do a big no-no. Whoops
indeed. Not wanting the situation to get even more awkward, Aria
coughed before saying "[shadow=red,left]Well anyway, I don't
want to keep you from your job. I know being a reaper means
you'll be really busy, but that's fine.[/shadow]" She tenderly
kissed the reaper's cheek, smiling warmly at him.
"[shadow=red,left]You know where to find me, right? We can
always meet up when you're able~[/shadow]"

Heiru couldn't turn invisible to hide this blush, his whole face
turned bright red...well what one could see of his face. He
nodded and headed out to do his job but turned back to look at
Aria. [glow=ghostwhite,2,300]"I love you too, my frightful
spook."[/glow] With that said, he headed off down the street
and to the wandering soul.

A giggle escaped Aria when she saw the blush, and watched the
reaper disappear down the street to do his job. The Seedrian
remained floating in place, suddenly feeling a slight pang of
loneliness. She quickly shook it off, remembering that she would
see her beloved again soon. With nothing else better to do, she
grabbed the white mask of the Marionette from the box, put it on
and vanished from sight.
The date may have been over, but the night was not; there was
still plenty of time to get a few more pranks in before the sun
could rise.
