He processed the information he had been given as he crawled
back to bed after disposing of the bag in the biohazard waste
bin, and whispered to Gabriel, "You should relax, Mirrors... You
do need more sleep..." before curling up like the hedgehog he
was, and going right back to sleep, tucking his own note under
his pillow for when he next woke up.
That comment was usual for Shadow's personality, but then
again.. he was different..

If only I could relax, these pain killers do nothing....I need
to hit a bar after this, he thought to himself as he let his
shoulder's fall. Gabriel wasn't asleep but resting which worked
just as well as sleep.

By the time it came to morning, the black-and-crimson hedgehog
Shadow would stir, just for a bit, and his crimson eyes slowly
opened, once again, like before, not registering where he was
immediately. He felt no longer tired, as he had finally slept
the amount he needed, and he found himself curled up, and his
shoes next to his bed, his gloves on a nearly windowsill.
Neither seemed to have been touched for a while, nor did he see
any noticeable wounds on himself that could have landed him in
this place, now that he seemed to remember.
But.. in his memory, there was still a gap. A big one.
The last thing he remembered was first off, a plan discussion
about defeating someone to free someone else. And Sonic, he
remembered, had been trying to tell their enemy something; to
keep off the vixen that Shadow had seen.
He didn't remember much after that except for waking up very
weak once, and then waking again, but this time about.. a dream
again..
He looked around, confused of how long he'd been here, as Shadow
himself uncurled and sat up, stretching his arms and legs as he
now wanted to leave. He needed, as the bat Mirrors had told him
the previous night, that they had to find this girl of sorts
that another named 'Lightanis' had needed them to find, and to
wait for orders.
But then, he had a thought in his mind as he went ahead and
started to put his shoes back on, slipping his own note out from
under his pillow -as he had put it there to read it at a later
time- as he got ready to leave.
Just... why is it that Lightanis wants us to find this person,
and if so.. then why does the girl have do to with the matters
of the Sanctuary Mirrors mentioned?
Is it that she is also a threat, like Brizin and Dark-Ness,
along with the other phoenix... the one that was trying to get
the vixen..?
Or is it that she is doing things against Lightanis's cause
-whatever that may be- just to mess with us...?

Gabriel hadn't slept, he had actually been awake all night.
Just resting, as soon as the light of day broke over the
horizon, he'd gotten up. Some doctor's had come in and told him
basically stuff he already knew before leaving him to his own
devices. He had left the room to get him and Shadow some
breakfast, also get his ear full from Orchid. He was just now
returning to his and Shadow's room with food.
The look on his face spoke louder than words, it was that
'seriously, I'm okay, shut up already' look. He put Shadow's
breakfast in front of him before putting two fingers to the side
of his head. "Orchid, I'm fine, yes I won't do that again. No
I didn't murder anyone, there's nothing to cover up this time.
I just said I didn't kill anyone, how would there be a body if I
didn't kill anyone.....Rally you shut up, the Morgue bodies were
there before me. Mirrors out." after that he sighed and looked
at Shadow. "Teammates, you love them and yet you hate them.
Viscous cycle really," he told him as he took a bite out of the
apple he had snagged for himself.

Shadow only nodded in agreement, silent as he nommed on what he
guessed was some form of granola in curiosity and a desire to
leave. He didn't wish for an extended stay, and he wanted to
find both Realern and now the girl Gabriel mentioned previously,
and turn both in to GUN after they had done what they needed
to..

Gabriel finished his apple and flexed his good wing before
closing it into the wing slot. His wounded wing trembled as it
wanted to go back with it's twin but was unable. "Well let's
get going, best we find that girl," he informed Shadow as he
headed out.

Grabbing his gloves in haste, Shadow went out of the room,
hoping to find Sonic again, and hopefully, help Lightanis to his
best ability when he and Mirrors met up with her.
But he was still confused about that dream of his.. why the hell
was Gabriel in it? Was that another power of vampires?
The ability to enter and manipulate people's dreams? Or was it
just how he imagined it to turn out like it did?
Taking those thoughts out of his head, he sighed, and kept on
walking towards the exit, hoping he wasn't going too fast for
Gabriel as he put his gloves back on with a determined look in
his crimson eyes..
