Description/Appearance
MX-22, aka Storm, is a 4 foot robot built by a late ruler of Old
Sliam to be a member of his monster hunting group and second in
command to himself in government. The robot was built to look
less menacing to the people who were suppose to feel protected
by it, taking on a knight-feel, almost making it look goofy.
Made entirely of metals such as steel and chrome, his bulky body
takes on a more steel blue color, though with age he's gotten a
bit of a goldenrod color in some spots. His mouth moves on
hinges and bolts, and with no nose(he's a robot, what's the
point of a nose?), the only other facial feature that seemed to
matter is his eyes, which are completely black except the white
dots in the center, that somehow make him look more cute than
threatening, which applies the goofy feel to him. Though looking
as if he had knight armor on he is shaped like a starfish, with
5 points that get smaller the further from the center of the
body the points get. With that in mind, its feet are pairs of
wheels attached to pin-needles, giving it an odd speed for its
size, allowing it to do such things as run along walls for very
short periods of time. On its hands and arms are gun barrels
that can move back and forth for covering up the hands or
revealing the hands. The center body is a massive, black air
chamber, similar to that of an accordion. The air chamber is
made out of some sort of elastic plastic, easy to move but hard
to damage. It allows the robot to cool off, similar to that of
many modern consoles and computers(as in, the robot has its own
AC system using the air chamber). Across the body, leading from
the air chamber to the hands and feet are glowing, dark orange
lines that have a somewhat mystical feel to them. Finally, on
the top of the head is a long, fluffy golden feather in a state
of constant regenration - no matter how many times you cut the
feather, it comes back soon after. The feather is technically
not attached to the robot and has no purpose other than
appearance, and is probably feeding off the magical energy from
the robot to regenerate the way it does.

Personality
MX-22 was a destructive, vile machine hellbent on the
destruction of whatever its master perceived as monsters,
including an entire city during an attempted invasion(key word
being attempted. The invasion failed, costing his master's
life.) As MX-22 had no AI and was built specifically to do as
Xaoc or someone else in MHOS of equal importance(like his wife,
Ginger Lorde) if Xaoc was absent, though if Xaoc died and the
robot didn't take orders from Xaoc for long enough, it would
trigger an AI programmed into the root to carry out Xaoc's plans
after death. However, when Xaoc died, the robot was locked up
before its programming would kick in, shutting it down and
worrying about it later.
When later came and it was time to worry, they repgrogrammed the
robot into Storm, making it into the great leader they felt
Sliam deserved. They also wanted to give the robot free will,
but it was pretty hard to do so without Xaoc's original
programming getting in the way, and after trying there were many
bugs due to conflicting programming. Essentially, he became
bipolar, angry and murderous at times, and other times a
benevolent ruler. The robot, with free will(and the thing that
comes with that, free thought), was unsure of itself, confused
and angsty at times. After all, in the repgrogramming they
required to erase past memories that may get in the way of his
job, which whenever he finds something out about his past(or
finds a 'flashback'(bug in the system showing him a corrupted
memory file) he gets too deep in thought.
This does get in the way of his job, which is very important to
him. He wants to protect Sliam at all costs, but because of his
almost total memory wipe, he is essentially a child... yes, you
are reading this right, Sliam is now lead and piloted in a
station that controls weather, by what is essentially a bipolar
child who was once a robotic member of a destructive military.
Sliam was very desperate, but they had nothing else to turn to
once Old Sliam became a ghost town. Anyways, because of his
childish nature, he is much more curious and stubborn. It
doesn't help that despite being a robot who could be rebuilt,
being leader of New Sliam doesn't mean he isn't effected by Old
Sliam's curse. With "death" hovering above the robot's head at
almost all times, he is the most destructive robot to ever lead
a nation. And that nation is worse off for it.
Powers & abilities
Besides the small amount of parkour, it powers are mainly
focused in its arms, or more specifically the arm cannons. The
arm cannons, similar to that of Gamma from Sonic Adventure,
Megeman from the Megaman games, and Omega from Sonic Heroes and
06, allow Storm to fire projectiles out. But that's not all, due
to the robot's ability to use Magick in connection with the
cannons, he can do much more than fire energy bullets. There are
2 arm cannons, allowing him to dual weild in Gun, Sword, Whip,
Flail, and Bomb modes. With this in mind, he can upgrade his
weapon on the post for 1 post before it returning to normal by
charging it, which while charging decreases his speed by half.
He can get more weapons with more experience(knowing of more
weapons and practicing in replicating them with his magic), but
it's rare that it ever happens.
Gun Mode
While in Gun Mode, using the robot's basic defenses he can
attack opponents with 5 cm radius energy pellets, doing minor
electrical damage, and has a fire rate of 20 per post. However,
he can charge the gun up for long periods of time, increasing
the size of the pellet times five with each post. That means
that if Storm charged his gun for 10 posts, he'd have energy
pellets that were 55 cm radius, doing minor electrical damage
and major magic damage.
Sword Mode
While in Sword Mode, he can use magic to create an
extendable(only up to 10 feet) sword from his arm cannons,
allowing him to slice and dice his opponents with ease. Later
on, depending on how many RPs he's in, the blade will extend 5
feet more(act as an upgrade. Every 5 canon RPs)
Whip Mode
This acts alot like the Enerbeam from Sonic Boom, allowing him
to swing from electronics and damage other robots with ease, but
if he charges it up for a post he'll be able to attack
non-robotic opponents with the whip for a single post, and
swinging on non-metallic or non-electronic things becomes much
easier.
Flail Mode
In Flail Mode, an energy change with an electric ball extends
from the arm cannon and can be swung for major electric damage.
The flail's attack can reach 5 feet. If charged up for two
posts, he can extend the reach to 10 feet, the ball will get
spiky(and do minor spike damage, major magic damage, AND major
electric damage, making it the strongest melee attack for
Storm), and will have a slight float to make it easier to swing.
Sadly, with this float and the length of the energy chain comes
decreased speed, slowing it down just enough to give an at least
double the time to react. It doesn't help with the charge up
flashes, showing that he is about to add magic to his Flail
Mode. Yes, despite being very powerful it may be hard to land a
hit with this one.
Bomb Mode
Finally, the Bomb Mode. While odd in action, this is purely
magical as his non-magical moves are purely electric and having
an exploding electric bomb is bad for a robot's health. Though
powerful, dealing major explosion and minor electric
damage(being his most powerful ranged attack), being magical
means that it requires charging, of course. Switching to bomb
mode temporarily turns them off, but he can keep the arm cannons
laying over his hands even if they are off, allowing him to
charge them and use the bomb mode. While in bomb mode, Storm can
throw a black bomb(with no fuse. It flashes to show that it will
explode) at most 5 yards away, but it has an AOE(area of effect)
of 6 yards, overlapping Storm. Storm's own bombs can hurt him,
and seeing as they explode a turn after Storm threw a bomb, he
gets veyr little chance to get out of the blast range(which also
makes it the most dangerous weapon to himself, though he can
take a few hits from his bombs without going out completely). If
charged up for 2 posts, it will act as a mine instead, exploding
when people get within 5 feet of it and only activating after
Storm gets out of range(if he gets back in range, it will still
explode). Its AOE damage is 7 yards, making it much harder to
deal with then the normal bomb, but it has the same issues as
the Flail Mode when it comes to telegraphing attacks.
Weaknesses
Storm's most powerful moves are very slow, endanger himself as
times, and are very telegraphed. At the same time, he is
childish and "emotional"(for robot standards, at least), and not
very strategic. He acts as more of a close-range fighter then
long-range, though not specifically melee. If an enemy gets out
of range of any of his non-gun abilities, he is essentially
useless and will have to fire the normal gun(seeing as charging
the Gun Mode would telegraph the attack too much, making it
useless) to wittle down an opponent's health. Also, being
metallic he is susceptible to electricity, being his elemental
weakness.
