Calm in the Castle

Natasha smiled as she sat on the throne this morning; she had
slept well last night, and there had been no commotion.
Everything had gone swimmingly, to be honest; the crab parasite
had been dealt with, the castle had a new healer, she had
confirmed four loyal allies, and Veira had been given a new
body. All in all, she felt good as the thought on it all. Now
the question was, while the rest of her plan was being prepared,
what was she to do?

It was only a short time after that Robin and Sapphire made it
known that they where awake, for how long the two had been up
was unknown, but they where ready to be awake and moving and
causing noise now that Natasha was in her throne.
It started with a bongo drum type tapping, that increased in
volume before a door opening could be heard and the two flung
out of the room they had been camping in, so they had been up
earlier, because the two where in separate rooms beforehand.
The pattering of fast footsteps could be heard above where
Natasha sat.
Sapphire and Robin jumped onto separate stair rails at the same
time, Robin to the left of the main hall and Sapphire to the
right.
The two where already dressed and everything, ok for Robin that
wasn't hard, he didn't have to wear anything as Alpha, just his
paint.
The Wild dog was the one doing the drum like tapping, Sapphire
humming a tune to fit, but as the two slid down the rails they
stopped their musical tone to shout out in joy, their hair
blowing back as they picked up speed,
Quite honestly the two would have gone to the highest point of
the castle and gone down all the stairs, but they weren't sure
where Natasha did and didn't want them around the place.
Sapphire threw her hands in the air, "Good morning Mobius!" She
shouted, probably waking half the castle, "Woooohoooo!" Oh and
the other half.
They hit the bottom of the stairs and leapt off skidding across
the floor, reaching each other in front of Natasha, linking
hands the two spun around, using the polished floors like it was
an ice skating rink, "Today we could go-""Running""and
Racing""And dancing""And chasing""and leaping""And
bounding""Hair flying""Heart pounding""and splashing""and
reeling"" and finally feeeeeling""That's when our morning
be-giiiiiiins" The two then paused, seeing Natasha in her
throne, they looked at each other then back at Natasha before
they burst out laughing and ran on over to her, Robin half
slipping as they did.
The two rushed up to her and flung their arms around her in a
hug, "Good Morning Tasha!""Beautiful morning isn't it?"
(Can anyone guess what their little song is from? cx )

Natasha's ears rang with the somewhat pleasant tone of the
tapping, and she smiled as Robin and Sapphire made their
presence known. Some of the guards even chuckled at the sight of
the two, and the queen nearly felt ready to stand and join them
when they began singing; however, she was content to hug them
tightly as the rushed up to her. "Hello, darlings!" she said
happily. "It is good to see you in such high spirits; I myself
can only dream of being able to wake up each day to such a
display!" She kissed both of their foreheads, pressing her
cheeks against their heads; it would have to do, since she was
still uncharacteristically frail and thin. "Perhaps you two
would like to join be for breakfast first? Wouldn't want to run
out of energy, would we?"

Sapphire cuddled into Natasha and Robin growled happily as she
treated them as a mother would, kissing their foreheads and
pressing her cheeks against their heads, the two seemed to soak
up as much of it as they could get, as if they didn't get much
of it.
"We can do something different every morning just for you for as
long as we're here Natasha" Sapphire smiled, looking to Robin
who nodded.
The two's faces lit up when Natasha said 'breakfast' and
Sapphire started to bounce around, grabbing ahold of Robin again
and in-turn making him bounce about as well.
They stopped when Robin's stomach let out a growl of hunger, he
clutched it and looked at Sapphire, "You sound hungry... Fem
leave you hungry for more?" She winked, sticki her tongue out at
him, "Yea- Oh Hahahaha, you're so funny" He shook his head,
rolling his eyes "I know I am" This made Robin laugh and
Sapphire smile, she aimed to make her friends laugh.
"Just don't shoot those kinda remarks when Fem's awake alright?"
Sapphire nodded, but the grin on her face suggested otherwise.
They both looked to Natasha, "Breakfast sounds great Natasha!
The others can join us when they're up can't they?"

Hearing the sound of another stomach rumbling, Natasha's growled
as well; breakfast it was, then. "Of course the others can join
us; then again, it depends on when everyone's getting up. Come,
let's go eat!" She stood and held both of their hands as she
pulled them along, a joyful smile on her face. The stewards were
already busy at work, setting the dining hall for breakfast;
whole grain breads and fresh bagels, buttered toast and crispy
nuts. The selection was varied and prepared like a buffet, open
for all of the castle's guests to enjoy. Eager to eat, the
feline gathered up a plate full of french toast with syrup,
bacon and sausage, a glass of milk and some sugar for her treats
to boot. "Feel free to grab what you like, you two; I hope to
have a fun day with you today, and you need all the energy you
can get!"

The two followed along behind as Natasha took their hands and
pulled them along with a smile.
Robin and Sapphire looked around as people where already at work
in making everyone breakfast, and not just any kind of
breakfast, a buffet! Or at least, very similar.
The two's mouths where almost watering upon looking all the food
and Robin's stomach told him to hurry up and get it full, "You
know, I thought I wouldn't be able to fit in anything for weeks
after how full I felt last night, but boy I could eat a whole-"
He read Sapphire's eyes, he knew how she felt about the usual
responses that came from that punch line, "a whole full five
plates full of delicious breakfast" He smiled, "And instead of a
cherry on top you want Fem on top right?" Some food disappeared
from the buffet in a streak of blue and Sapphire too was gone.
Just as well because after Robin went red in the face he didn't
look too impressed, "Sapphire..." He shook his head before
serving himself up some breakfast too.
A few minutes later and both of the two had breakfast and where
at the assigned table, sitting across from each other rather
then beside, like they (almost) where last night, (Aside from
the lovely Fem being there c: ).
The two made faces at each other from across the table, trying
to make each other laugh as they ate, which probably wouldn't
end well if one got the other to laugh while the other had a
mouthful of milk.

Natasha smiled as the blue streak passed by, gathering up
breakfast and teasing Robin. However, hunger was getting the
best of her, and she decided to quickly wolf down one... two...
no, make it three plates, disregarding the manners a queen
should have. Her muzzle was slathered in syrup and she let out a
satisfied belch, only just then remembering that she was a queen
and wiped her face with an 'excuse me'. She watched to two make
faces at each other, trying hard not to giggle at their
shenanigans; with how fast she had eaten, she might accidentally
cough some of her breakfast up if she laughed.
Fortunately, she seemed to be able to easily control herself,
going to fill up yet another set of plates and a glass of milk
to chug down beside it. "So," she finally started, "did you two
have any ideas of what exciting activities you'd like to do? I'm
in quite the adventurous mood myself, to be honest." Surely, if
anyone was going to be active and adventurous, it would be these
two.

It was unknown exactly when the violet Phoenix had finally went
to sleep, but is was known that he didn't sleep in the room that
was prepared for him. The ruckus of the two children had woke
him up and he was never one for wanting to be woken up. "Must
you have to be so loud in the morning?" he yawned in an irked
tone. Darkenlight was laying up in the rafters, a hiccup
escaped his throat as well as a groan. He'd devoured those
crabs perhaps too fast for his own good.

A few moments later and a certain black-and-crimson hedgehog
Chaos Controlled first to the small 'breakfast buffet', and then
coming back to a seat not too far from Natasha, yawning as he
put his plate down on the table.
He looked very tired still, but a heck of a lot better than the
night before, for anyone who saw him the previous night, and he
looked like he might drift off again at any moment, but despite
that, he was feeling much better.... and a lot more hungry since
he barfed up a lot.
And to be truthful, he'd been awake an hour ago, making sure no
assassins were down his part of the hall earlier, as well as
cleaning himself up a bit more.
He did not eat yet, however, and made a small bow as he actually
sat down at the table.
"Good morning Your Highness, and Robin and Sapphire...." he
said, before sitting down, and before starting to almost wolf
down the eggs he had just gotten, almost like he was Sonic with
chillidogs.
At least until he stopped to swallow slowly, and he looked up.
There was that odd phoenix from last night up there, and he
hadn't heard a name from said person yet. "What the...?"

The halfling watches from the corner, smiling. It was
interesting to see the interactions going on, as he learned from
it. He might not like being in towns very much, but he does
enjoy the relaxation he can have in one.
