Tarotikius, now free of the Chaos Control, charged at Phoenix.
"I may have missed my first target but I'll at least get
something!" he yelled in an insanely enraged roar. Sonic would
have a slight second to either push Phoenix out of the way or
kick Tarotikius in the jaw.

"Always am" Sonic grinned when Shadow said he was in a joking
mood.
Sonic listened as Shadow explained a plan, laughing softly at
being called faker, "We both know you're the real faker around
here, Shadow" he commented after Shadow explained the plan,
Sonic then stood back and cracked his knuckles before stretching
his legs, "Yeah, I got it, I distract, you do your chaos magic
stuff, Phoenix shoots her bows and we all save the day" Sonic
returned to stand up and curled his hands into fists, holding
one up just below his chin, "Walk in the Park" He grinned,
before hearing shout out asking if he was ready, "Born ready!"
Then he shot off.
Shadow froze Taro, Phoenix let her arrow fly and freed Millie,
and then the vixen was gone in a blur.
Sonic skidded and seemed disappointed, he didn't get to do much
but at least Millie was free.
The hedgehog turned to Pheonix "You alright? That was a real
great shot, you've got good aim" He said, smiling at her while
giving the signature thumbs up, as he started to make his way
towards her.
That's when Tarotikius charged at her, luckily for Sonic he had
his super speeds. "No!" Sonic shouted as he dove, and pushed
Phoenix aside, out of harms way, but put himself in it instead.
Instead of Phoenix taking Tarotikius' charge, Sonic would.
Sonic also noticed Shadow state, but would have to help his
black and crimson pal afterwards.

Tarotikius attempted to change course but was unable. A full on
collision with Sonic occurred. The Crystal Phoenix snarled,
pushing the hedgehog away when they stopped rolling. "I don't
want you, I need to get a female," he sneered before attempting
to kick Sonic in the face.

Phoenix just laid on the ground after she was pushed out of
harms way. She was too weak to move, that is until she heard
the two collide. Some inner strength kicked in and she got up.
"Tarotikius Shifter, instead of the vixen....take me," she
huffed and puffed, still very much tired.

[I]"Don't worry about it."[/I] Millie told the cat. [I]"I know
how teenage couples can be. I was in love once like that,
running around, valentine's c-"[/I] Millie stopped herself when
she realised Madness had just dashed off. [I]"Madness you'd
better not be doing what I think you're doing!"[/I] Millie was
already spinning up her tails to chase after him. She gave
Charolette a quick look. [I]"how fast can you go? Madness is
bound to be throwing down a challenge he'll lose and we need to
stop him!"[/I] Millie began to fly fast in the direction that
they had came from hoping that Charo could somehow keep up.
Madness had a head start though, and soon enough he came to a
halt by the brother and sister.
"Tarotikius Shifter, instead of the vixen....take me,"
[I]"Don't waste your energy, Alt won't want her."[/I] Madness'
eyes narrowed as he expected both phoenixes to turn and face
him, Madness glared at the darker phoenix. [I]"You're in league
with a dark blue hedgefox, it's an easy enough guess, otherwise
you wouldn't be so orientated to grab a female. But you know
what he'd be willing to accept? An opportunity to take out his
'good' self, that'd be [B]me[/B], fly back to him and tell him
that Madness has a proposition for him, he'll bite."[/I] Madness
was confident that he could play Alt's ego long enough, it was
just getting this phoenix to deliver the message.

The hedgehog was pushed away after colliding with Taro, he
simply hit the ground and then with a push, flipped himself back
up onto his feet.
Sonic shook his head and walked over to Madness, placing a hand
on the hedgefox's chest before gently pushing him back, and
standing in front of him, facing him, "I've got this, kid, you
let Sonic handle it, ok?".
He didn't want Madness getting in danger.
Sonic then went over to Phoenix and scooped her up again, as she
seemed quite worn out, he looked at her and shook his head, "No
offering yourself to the bad guys" He looked at Madness, "That
goes for you too".
He then looked to Taro, "The only thing you'll be leaving here
with is a bruised backside if you don't leave right now" Sonic
said firmly.

The reaper obviously couldn't keep up, she dropped as soon as
she reached the blue hedgefox and attempted to catch her
breath."M-Mad.."The reaper gasped desperately for air, and the
immense heat she was feeling was starting to get to her, like
she was about to black out. As mentioned before she wasn't
prepared for such a situation as this, so something like
blacking out was something that was possible to happen.

Phoenix forced herself out of Sonic's arms, her panting more
defined. "I have the freedom to choose my fate," she said
firmly. She staggered passed Madness, going up to her brother.
"I only ask that we rest before we go to Dark-Ness," Phoenix
requested, still panting.

Tarotikius grinned at his sister's willingness to give herself
over. His gaze went over to the hedgefox, a bored look on his
face as he snapped a bit, "I only take orders from Dark-Ness,
not some inferior weakling like yourself. And Dark-Ness told me
to get him that vixen, I figured why not bring him two females."
His attention turned back to Sonic, a soft and sharp 'heh' came
from his throat at the hedgehog's little threat. A bigger grin
appeared when Phoenix came up to him. "Sure, besides I can't go
back until I have my target," he replied before taking Phoenix's
hand.

"You do have the freedom to choose your own fate, but this isn't
the right one Phoenix!" He followed after her as she went over
to Tarotikius.
"Hey!" The blue hedgehog poked Phoenix's brother fair in the
chest, "You can't call the kid that" He said, wearing a rather
angry frown as he looked at him.
When Taro took Phoenix's hand Sonic grabbed her other hand and
tried to pull her away from him, "No! Don't go with him!" He
sounded a little panicked, that's unusual, "Ice cream? We could
go and get you some more of that good stuff if you want? You can
tell me more about that sanctuary too! Just please, don't go
with him"
