Mother Vixen - The Crisis of the City

While Madness was up in Leung West with Charolette, his mother,
Millie Prower, was busy with her own things over in the main
city of Mobotropolis. [I]"Shopping? Check. Party Materials?
Check. Lunch? Almost a check."[/I] the two tailed yellow
feminine fox was all smiles and currently on her way to a nearby
cafe to pick up a sandwich and drink. The owner knew her husband
very well, a much older form of Sonic than anyone else in the
dimension knew, and thus the owner was always willing to drop a
price for the two tailed vixen. One or two pairs of eyes
followed her as she went by them, only to turn their eyes
forward when one of her tails periodically made a swift slashing
move as a sign that hitting on her could leave them very cut up.
Unfortunately Millie was currently the target of a dark blue
Alternate, and with the allies he had at his disposal, Millie
could be in a heap of trouble even with her own defences!
Not like Dark-Ness had anyone after her, right?

Unfortunately Dark-Ness did have someone after her, the Crystal
Phoenix of Darkness himself. Tarotikius Shifter had just landed
in Mobotropolis and was now looking for the vixen. A brief
sense of a familiar light aura of Pure Light Chaos Energy caused
him to grin. "Heh, so my sister is here too," he muttered to
himself as he walked out of the darkness of the alleyway.

Millie was getting close to the cafe when something clicked in
her head. [I]"Oh no I forgot to get high spice sauce..."[/I] she
mumbled to herself, she seemed to shake it off though. [I]"Ah
well, I can get it later."[/I] her breathing seemed to increase
slightly as Tarotikius exited that alleyway wherever he was.
[B]"Are you okay miss?"[/B] her sudden upsurge seemed to have
turned a female mobian's attention.
[I]"I'm fine thank you. I can't quite put my finger on what
suddenly has me panicky, but I think we have a sudden upsurge in
dark energy in the city."[/I]
The mobian took off in panic after that. So much for helping.
Though she had a sense that something was up. She definitely
wasn't prepared for what was soon to happen. She managed to pick
herself up from the ground as she'd fallen on to one knee as her
breathing went up.

Tarotikius started to walk towards the shopping district. He
figured that girls loved shopping so start there first.

With the cafe on the way from the shopping district Millie was
literally heading in his direction. If he was fast enough
Tarotikius may have spotted the woman herself walking into the
cafe that she had been heading for. This left Taro with the
options of either storming the cafe and dashing out with her
kicking and screaming in his grip, or waiting until she came out
and snapping her up there and then, which would take a bit
longer, but not too long surely, after all, how long could it
take to have lunch when you have other things to be getting?

He had caught a glimpse of her and decided to wait. Normally he
wouldn't do this but since Phoenix was in town he wanted to take
as long as possible. Tarotikius wanted to get a two for one
deal, with a fight or two.

Millie came out of the cafe about 20 minutes later. She had her
phone out. [I]"Oh my afternoon is free minus the obvious. ...
Woah woah back up. Madness was seen sweet talking a girl? Wow.
I'll have to catch him about that. ... Of course. I probably
have a device somewhere that could figure out her intentions.
After all, since when have my inventions failed recently? ...
That wasn't an invitation to prove me wrong Vanilla. ... Okay I
get it. I'll see you in an hour? ... Great! See you then,
bye."[/I] and at that she pressed the screen and dropped it into
her dress.
Too bad she might be ending up doing something else in an hour's
time.

Tarotikius looked around he didn't see Phoenix yet so he decided
to follow the vixen at a distance.

Things took a more dangerous turn as Millie headed back towards
the mall when a blade wielding Mobian caught her by surprise and
managed to pin her to a wall. [I][glow=grey,2,300]"You look like
my next piece of tail."[/glow][/I]
At least one pervert had misjudged the mother though, and found
out the hard way as Millie spun her tails at him, they sliced
[B]straight through[/B] the attacker with ease, slicing him in
half right through his middle. This display would be of use if
he was expecting a fight with the vixen when he got his chance.
Would Taro choose now to strike? Or would he let her continue
on?

Tarotikius grinned as he seen the vixen cut the idiot in two and
at the sense of his sister getting closer. He'd continue to
follow the vixen until his sister was in his sights.
