Agents Clash in Westopolis

The bustling city of Westopolis had gone for the most part
silent for the night as a swarm of non-mobian bats came in.
These bats went into an alleyway and that was where a bat in a
black trench coat reformed, he cracked his neck before coming
out of the alley. A dark city seemed to be like a good place to
look for the dark phoenix. His ears twitched before he put two
fingers below his left ear. "Affirmative," he said quietly,
"I'll head there after I check here....I know....alright....I
see...Mirrors out." With that he returned his hand to his side
and headed down the street.

Meanwhile, a certain black-and-crimson hedgehog had also
arrived, and was now on one of the many roofs, but on a
different mission of his own from another Zone to this one.
Commander Tower had detected an odd disturbance of Chaos Energy
over two months ago, and now reports were saying that a
hedgephoenix or whatever they'd called it along with a lost
Mianian soldier had been sighted in the area in the skies, so he
was sent to this Zone to investigate it finally.
"Shadow, do you hear me? This is the Commander here. Have you
found anything on the Chaos Disturbance?"
The voice came from a device hidden in one of the hedgehog's
gloves, and he pressed it slightly as he answered back, glancing
around to make sure nobody heard.
"No, Commander. I was not able to find the source... yet. I'm
back in Westopolis, however, near the square. I'll search for
Realern or Andalin here, sir."
"Alright, good. But on information...?"
"Right... I do have something on it.." he answered back, holding
his left glove close to him, still looking down from the roof at
the square below, and outside of the occasional person, there
was nobody here.
'Though... you may not like this...
I got some information from Mobotropolis GUN forces that two
months ago... somebody that wasn't meant to be in their hospital
came in there at that time, and they also said that it was
rumored to be the lost soldier Tamwyn Realern..."
"So... the reports may be true then... See what you can get from
the forces here in Westopolis, then go to Miana. Got it?"
"Yes sir. Over and out," the hedgehog answered, pulling out what
appeared to be a dark red sword that looked like crystal, but
was not. He then took a deep breath, and heard the Commander's
farewell, before jumping off the roof and landing on the grass
below that was near the square of Westopolis.
"Good luck, Shadow. Over and out."
With that, the black-and-crimson hedgehog went down one of the
streets near, unknowingly coming into contact with the bat he
had no awareness of yet, as he held the sword out, ready to
fight anyone who went in his way of finding Realern.

Gabriel simply walked around Shadow, his left shoulder in view
of the hedgehog for a moment. The red emblem in clear view, but
was this action deliberate?

Eh...? the hedgehog thought, looking surprised when he suddenly
came past a bat dressed in complete black with a red emblem. One
the hedgehog knew too well, despite it being not in his actual
Zone.
He skidded to a stop, and turned around, walking back to the bat
until they were 10 feet from each other, and then the hedgehog
said, "Hey! who are you?"
He knew this bat must be part of what was called 'the Society',
for the symbol was known by GUN all too well. Nothing else was
known, just that they were secretive...

Gabriel stopped but didn't turn around. "My mission does not
concern you, Shadow the Hedgehog GUN Agent, Leader of Team
Dark," he replied before walking away again. He rounded a
corner, as he turned he looked at the hedgehog and was that a
smirk?

Shadow, blinking in surprise for a moment, gritted his teeth,
before closing his eyes.
[glow=coral,2,300]"Chaos... Control!"[/glow]
He then disappeared from his original spot, and reappeared in
front of the bat with his crimson eyes open again, repeating his
question with a little more as he held his crystal-like crimson
sword at his side. He really was surprised at the bat knowing
his identity, who he worked for and who he was the leader of,
but he wanted to know the same of this bat of the Society.
"Who are you, and how do you know I'm Shadow the Hedgehog, agent
of the Society? GUN knows of you..."
He lifted his left arm -the sword arm- to call reinforcements,
but then he smirked back, and decided not to call anyone. If
this person wanted to be like what said person was, then he
might as well do so. If he could pull it off.

The bat smirked as the hedgehog appeared in front of him. "And
the Society knows much of GUN," he told him as he stood tall and
unphased, "as for my identity, I can only disclose my name.
Gabriel Mirrors, now I'll be on my way." With that he attempted
to walk passed him for a second time.

"I'm not letting you go anywhere. Unless you tell me why you are
here, at least a small bit of why," he answered back, his own
smirk staying where it was as he remained in his stance before
he started walking backwards, and then besides Gabriel.
"Explains how you know my name, huh? You ever heard of a 'Tamwyn
Realern' before?" he added, the sword now gone, but the smirk
remaining.

Gabriel liked this hedgehog's attitude and decided to test how
willing Shadow was to learn this information. With that he
grinned at Shadow before disappearing into a swarm of non-mobian
bats and speed off down the street. Catch me if you can Agent,
his voice rang out from the only bat with red eyes.

"I accept, Mirrors.. See if you can escape this!" he answered,
his Hover Shoes activating themselves as he broke out into a
sprint after Gabriel, who was now in a swarm of non-Mobian bats,
as possibly, the red-eyed bat of the bunch.
Good memories of racing and fighting against Sonic the Hedgehog
came back, and his smirk became a true, and grinning smile
before he disappeared off the ground, and reappeared again, now
sprinting among the tops of the buildings. Anyone who was lucky
would see Shadow warp closer and closer to the swarm of bats
every few rooftops, and then just sprinting and jumping back and
forth along the sides of the streets near the swarm of bats.
"I'll get you, Gabriel Mirrors!"
