Phoenix blushed deeper when his eyes met hers, she was taken a
back by the emerald eyes as pieces of her memories came forth.
The napkin wipe brought her back from the depths of those
shattered fragments. "White chocolate, when I find it that is,"
she answered.

"White chocolate huh?" He nodded with a smile, "Chocolate's
always good, I heard it 'scientifically' as Tails calls it, can
make you feel happier" He said, feeling kinda weird that he
brought that up, it's not something the blue hero would usually
do, that was usually something Tails did, but he was busy and
wasn't here.
He took a few more licks and bites from his smooth blue ice
cream, his mouth exploding with the flavours before looking back
at Phoenix and attempting to start conversation again, "So
this... Sanctuary... Want to tell me more on it? Where will it
be built? How big will it be? Will it need constant maintenance?
Who'll be doing that?" He asked, locking eyes with her again.

"I'd be glad to," she responded, "location will be decided by
our group, most likely it will be in an area far from any cities
or villages where it's warm most of the year with plenty of
space to run and hide, it'll be six acres until the population
gets bigger since there's only five, probably not, and if
maintenance is needed I'm sure White Blaze would do it since
he's the one who rescued them." Phoenix was truthful, her eyes
showed that.

Sonic knew there where no jokes in her statement there, her eyes
said everything.
He nodded, listening as he licked away at his ice cream,
reaching the cone soon enough. "Ok, so it'll be isolated, six
acres for the meantime, in a warm place with lots of hidey
spots" He took a large bit out of his cone and ice cream, such a
big bite that his mouth could not fit it all in, and some of the
blue ice cream dribbled out of the side of his mouth, he gulped
it down before he continued, not noticing the dribble, which
made him look a bit silly, "Sounds fair enough, what if
something goes wrong? How will it be handled?" He asked, leaning
against a wall of the ice cream store.

Phoenix was about to answer when a sense of an all to familiar
dark aura of Almost Pure Dark Chaos Energy washed over her. A
look of worry came to her face as she looked out the door. It
was clear she had sensed something or someone. What are you
doing in this area....brother, she thought before turning back
to Sonic. "One of us Crystal Phoenixes will deal with it,"
Phoenix finally answered, attempting to mask her look of worry,
"You have a bit of ice cream dribbling out of your mouth." She
didn't want to seem rude by abruptly leaving but her mask wasn't
fairing as well as her other attempts to hide things.

Sonic frowned when the wash of worry went over her and showed in
her face, when she looked over at the door Sonic glanced over as
well, what had set her off?
The blue hedgehog looked back when she answered the question
however, and he nodded, but noticed she was trying to make her
worry non-visible.
He quickly wiped the corner of his mouth with the back of his
glove, then shook his blue head and snatched up another napkin
and wiped his face and glove, looks like a load of whites will
be his next load of washing.
He then finished the rest of his ice cream and wandered over to
the door, glancing back at Phoenix, "You seemed worried, what's
the matter?" He asked.

"My twin brother is in the area...he's usually up to nothing
good. I wonder what brings him here," she replied quietly.
Phoenix sighed before looking at him. "You are welcome to tag
along but I must leave immediately," she told him before heading
out. She was a light colored blur in a few moments, heading in
the direction of the dark aura.

Sonic listened to her silently and as soon as she was out the
door in a blur, he revved up his feet, they became a blur of
blue, red, white and gold, and a blue streak really did speed by
as he shot off after her.
