"Supper and entertainment, Darkenlight; you know, food and
something to watch?" Natasha had almost forgotten that
Darkenlight had almost no knowledge of modern culture. She waved
a steward over; "Would you please take our guests to the dining
hall? I have something I must attend to for one moment."
As the steward nodded and led the group away, Natasha approached
Nari with a somewhat disapproving expression. "Nari, is the
messenger that I sent to deliver Darkenlight's invitation here?"
She had had trouble with him many times before, and this was the
last straw. "Now, please; I can not stand to let his
transgression go unpunished..."

"He is," Nari nodded, two of his screens disappearing whilst a
map of the entire castle appeared on the final one. He scanned
over it, looking for the messenger's genetic code. "Now,
where...ah, up on the balcony, most likely with the others." He
explains, before looking over at the feline "Shall I go fetch
him for you?"

"Yes, please," Natasha growled somewhat angrily. "I'll be
waiting for you outside the dining hall. Drag him to me if you
have to; it's time I showed that ungrateful sod what happens to
those who disrespect me in such a manner." If Nari listened
closely, he might of heard a low growling, although this time it
wasn't her snarl. It might be easy to guess at this point what
she had planned, but who knew with a woman like her. She strut
off then, wanting to deal with this matter quickly so she may
return to her guests.

Nari's ear twitched at the growling, though he remained quiet.
With a simple nod, his form dissipated into blue and teal
particles that flew out of the throne room and up to the balcony
with swiftness and ease. At the landing, he resumed his offline
form, immediately strolling over to the messenger - who was
drinking a mug of ale and trying to flirt with one of the maids.
Nari was quick the pluck him from his chair by the collar of his
vest and dragged him back towards the door. The messenger
struggled in his grip, calling out many profanities and demanded
why he was being treated this way (and why Nari had the gall to
disturb him on his break).
"Her Highness is most displeased by your recent job
performance," Nari explained simply, though there was a hint of
a smile in his voice. "And she would like to speak with you
immediately."
This caused the messenger's blood to run cold. "W-wait...this
isn't about one of the letters getting lodged in that phoenix's
throat...is it...?"
Nari turned back to look at the man, a smile on his face that
unnerved the man. "That's precisely the reason," he purred,
suddenly tanking the man forward that almost caused him to
tumble down the stairs. The messenger began to desperately plead
and defend his actions, though they fell on deaf ears as Nari
continued to drag him down towards the dining hall, finally
strutting over to Natasha with a smug grin on his face. "Here he
is." Nari murmured, dropping the now quivering servant before
the feline whilst the AI stepped back and waited for the show to
begin.

Natasha smiled as she saw Nari through the messenger, who
quivered and shook at the sight of her. "Ah, there you are; the
young man who, once again, chose to neglect your duties which
you willingly chose to take. You do realize I remember when
someone decides to fool around and not do their job properly?"
She glanced over to the dining hall door for a quick moment; she
had chosen to stay outside a moment for a reason. "You have not
only disrespected me with such ethics, but have constantly
harassed the maids, and now you've caused one of my guests to
nearly choke on his invitation. So, since you refuse to do your
duty..." A sort of click could be heard, and one could note that
her jaw seemed to slump; it was then that anyone would know the
poor sod's fate. "I really have no use for you."
Quickly, she picked him up by his collar and opened wide,
shoving him head first down her throat. As he curled up inside
her stomach, he squirmed and screamed in terror, although it was
no use as her fluffy belly muffled his cries for help to an
almost unnoticeable tone, and his wriggling only served to
massage the inside of her gut. Her swollen stomach simply bulged
out and bounced with his struggling, covered quite nicely by her
dress, which only now would make sense for anyone who would
notice it's size; it was quite convenient when you could punish
people in such a manner, and still retain your regal appearance.
She clicked her jaw back into place, smiling somewhat
mischievously before returning her mind to the matters at hand.
"Ah... That's that, then; thank you very much, Nari. Your
services are much appreciated. And this one," she said as she
glanced down at her wriggling stomach, "will serve to fatten up
my thighs quite nicely. It's a shame when I have to dispose of
servants this way, but I have an image of order to maintain
after all."

"Most of the servants, if not all, are nothing but liabilities,"
Nari said dismissively "Besides, that is one less headache for
the both of us to worry about. You are not losing anything for
having incompetent servants - you are providing them
jobs, shelter and protection, and in turn, they need to pull their
weight. If they are unable to do so, then they are wasting our
time. Simple as that." He glanced at Natasha's belly before
saying "He in particular was disliked by many in the castle; he
will not be missed anyway."
Nari began to open the door leading to the dining room to allow
Natasha to get back to her guests, however, he paused when he
spotted one of the maids beckoning him over, a concerned look on
her face. Raising an eyebrow, the AI went over, where the maid
murmured something into his ear that caused him to frown deeply.
He sighed after receiving the message before sending the maid on
her way and promptly return to his queen's side.
"Speaking of able servants," he murmured "It seems that the
castle's healer has fallen gravely ill and is unable to perform
her duties, at least for a while. I do not believe I need to
remind you the importance of having an able healer at all times
- we cannot afford to take such a risk." He adjusted his glasses
before continuing. "In such, I will be more than happy to take
the responsibility of searching for a replacement - you have
your guests to attend to, after all, and I assure you that I
will do whatever it takes to rectify the problem."

"I wouldn't refer to them as liabilities. These servants are
needed to keep the place clean and orderly; it's just a matter
of separating the chaff from the crop. This lousy bloke will be
replaced, and hopefully we will find someone competent." She
stroked her stomach for a moment as the struggles of the
ex-messenger within died down, thanks to him having realized how
hopeless his fighting was. It was disappointing how quickly he
had given up, but it would be beneficial to not have a squirming
stomach while tending to her guests.
She was ready to waddle through the doors and join the others,
but that is when the maid arrived with the grim news. "This is
unfortunate... Yelena is a proficient healer, and I do not wish
to replace her; still, perhaps we should find another to work
along side her..." Thought filled her mind as she rubbed her
swollen belly, thinking on what the best course of action would
be. "Go ahead and find someone to take her place for now, but I
wish for Yelena to remain; the castle could benefit from having
two healers. And thank you, Nari, for your discretion; it is
good to have an assistant who is approving of my methods." She
smiled before swinging herself around, her stomach just narrowly
missing a vase, and pushed the door open with her gut, ready to
continue mingling with her beloved friends.

Nari simply bowed as Natasha entered the dining hall, pleased to
assist his queen. Once she was gone, Nari let his form crumble
as it returned to his dock; While Nari preferred to be efficient
rather than conservative, he could never go against Natasha's
wishes. It would be a bit of a task, but he was sure he would be
able to find an able temporary replacement until Yelena was back
on her feet. Actually...now that he thought about it, having two
healers would greatly decrease the likelihood of other servants
falling ill, or worse...dying. Not only that, but keeping the
other servants healthy would be much easier...and healthy
servants increased the efficiency of the castle's over all
progress. This would please Natasha, no doubt.
Now, the real question is...where was he going to find someone
with the proper qualifications?

Darkenlight had not enjoyed being led away, snarling at the
steward. He refused to sit as he didn't quite understand the
purpose of sitting down at an assigned place. "Why can't I sit
where I want? he asked with a snort which blew embers and smoke
into the air.

"W-well, you are free to sit where you wish," the steward said
somewhat meekly, obviously frightened by the phoenix. "I was
merely ordered to guide you to the dining hall."
As he said that, Natasha made her way to join the group, her
stomach swaying about as the mobian inside digested. "I hope I
have not left you waiting for too long; a queen does have
business to attend to at times, after all." She sat at the royal
seat, her gut sliding underneath the table as quiet cries for
help could just barely be heard from it, the messenger trying to
get the others to have her release him. He did not realize that
his fate was sealed, and nothing would convince her to spit him
out; he was food, now. "Thank you for bringing them here,
steward; you may go now." The steward bowed, looking to her
stomach for a moment; another poor fool who had tested her
patience it seemed. He felt relieved as he walked away; she knew
he was not on the menu.
