"I believe it's from bad crab he ate before arriving here,"
Gabriel told the echidna as he leaned in the door, "I'm no medic
but I once read about a parasite that is from eating undercooked
or raw crustaceans. Might want to test for that, miss."

Kat frowned upon hearing this news; had it just been regular
food poisoning, she could have him fixed up right away but...a
parasite? This changed a thing or two, as well as made her task
slightly more difficult. But it couldn't be helped...Natasha was
counting on her to heal this hedgehog, and she'd be damned if
she failed on her first day. Plus, her pride as an alchemist and
sorceress was at stake - she couldn't fail this, no matter the
       cost.
Kat nodded at the bat, thanking him for the information before
she approached the hedgehog's bedside once more. She removed the
blanket, holding her hands above his body and allowed the dark
magic within her to flow through her open palms. She closed her
eyes, trying to hone into the hedgehog's very being in order to
locate the parasite; in the meanwhile, she turned bat, asking
"Do you know the nature of this parasite? How lethal is it? How
       does it work?"

Seeing that Kat was quickly taking control of things, and
Gabriel had mentioned the possibility of parasite, Natasha saw
it as a good time to take her leave... "I just remembered some
business I must attend to; I will check in later. Take as much
time as you need, please; I will tell the stewards of your new
position. And again, thank you. " She walked out of the room
quietly, walking away and down the hallway; at a certain point,
she took a right, continuing down yet another hallway. Where was
       she going?

Shadow stirred a bit when the echidna tried to use her Chaos
Magic to locate something, but she'd find the parasite that was
known as the herring worm; that would be in his stomach, to put
it in simpler words, with her Chaos Magic.
He grimaced in his sleep, for he felt like barfing again all of
a sudden. And he just got through one round of that...
[glow=red,1,300]"Ugh....."[/glow] he groaned, his eyelids about
       to slip open.

Tamwyn watched everything silently, feeling scared for Shadow,
but then Tasha left the room, and he, despite misgivings,
followed the cat, wondering where she was going as he followed
       her every step.

Tamwyn would seem unnoticed by the feline as he followed her.
For a few moments, she seemed to just be walking about, until
she took one turn... and disappeared. No matter where one may
look, she was nowhere to be found somehow. All that was there
was a set of open doors to a balcony, and she wasn't outside...
       Where had she gone?

"Pretty much is probably still in his stomach," Gabriel
explained before going into detail about the herring worm. When
he finished, the bat looked out the window. "I read about lots
       of things," he coughed.

Kat located the herring worm lodged deep into Shadow's stomach
soon enough. She lowered her hands and returned back to the
nightstand, pulling out chamomile, a lemon, lime and a dark
brown root...ipecac. She took the chamomile and green tea into
her hands and grinding them together in her palms before adding
the lump of leaves to the mortar. Taking the dagger from the
belt on her upper thigh, the sorceress then cut the lemon and
lime into halves, squeezing the juices into the mortar, then
followed up with cutting thin slices of the ipecac and added it
into the mixture as well. She then used the pestle to grind and
crush the concoction until it was a thin syrup-like substance.
"The worm has lodged itself deep into your stomach," Kat
explains to the hedgehog, though she wasn't entirely sure if he
could hear her "The only way to successfully dispel it from your
body is for you to ingest a natural ipecac and throw it back up.
You're lucky it hadn't gotten int your intestinal track, or else
I would have resorted to less than favorable method." Pouring
the syrup into a special bottle, Kat moved the trashcan to
Shadow's bedside at the ready. She then lifted lifted the
hedgehog head and pressed the bottle's mouthpiece into his
mouth, allowing the syrup to slowly and gently enter Shadow's
body. Once the syrup was ingested, Kat backed away and waited
for the ipecac to take effect.

Tamwyn sighed as he saw Tasha 'disappear', and he wondered for a
moment.. He tried again to follow her, and went the way she had
       turned, hoping to find her..

       - - - - -
       "read about lots of things..."
The voices were beginning to be clear, but they were still a bit
fuzzy, and his stomach began to hurt worse.
He had no idea what it was yet, but he heard "...parasite that
is from eating undercooked or raw crustaceans...." as well, and
yet he just wanted to sleep.
But his stomach forced him slightly awake, and he opened his
eyes half way, his crimson irises slits as they spotted what
appeared to be a dark orange or something of a female echidna...
and he felt Chaos Magic of a dark type...
       He knew something was wrong...
But then he saw the girl mixing something, and he squinted at
her, trying to curb his focus off his stomach, his ears working
odd as she lifted his head.
"...worm has lodged itself... into your stomach.... only way to
successfully dispel... for you to ingest... ipecac and throw it
back up... lucky it hadn't... intestinal track... would have...
       less than favorable method...."
He understood what he could piece out, and when a bottle came
for his mouth, he opened it for her, however fearfully, as his
eyes decided against him and closed again. He hoped this would
force whatever was in him out of him... even if it meant losing
more out of his system in terms of food.

Natasha was no where to be found, and as he approached the
balcony, a hand covered his mouth and a knife was at his throat.
"Don't... move..." It seemed an armed thief had made his way
into the castle, or perhaps an assassin after the queen?
Whatever his intentions, he clearly did not care that Tamwyn was
not his target. "Kitchen... Now..." However, before either of
them could react, a clicking sound could be heard; oh dear.
The trespasser let go of Tamwyn and turned just in time to see
Natasha's fist heading for his face, as her punch made him drop
his knife and she picked him up by his collar, opening her mouth
and quickly swallowing him whole. He screamed and thrashed, and
from the expression on her face it seemed that he was giving her
a bit of indigestion; still, it was pretty obvious he was never
getting out. Natasha clicked her jaw back into place shortly
before letting out a light belch, stroking her stomach proudly.
"That'll show you to sneak into my castle and try to hurt my
friends..." Having done it all in the spur of the moment, she
had forgotten that Tamwyn was even there... right in front of
her... pressed against her swollen gut...

"I'll get the bucket," Gabriel stated as he went for a bucket.
Wasn't long until he returned with one and held it up to Shadow.
"Just don't projectile vomit please," he told Shadow, knowing
       he could hear them.
