Chill out Hero

Sonic sped towards the city of Mobotropolis, going at a rather
slow pace, for him, although his feet where a blur of blue, red,
white and yellow, he had just been at Knothole with a large
group of mobians, but now he felt as though he needed a bit of a
relax, hearing the news on the sanctuary and all.
He sighed, he liked to talk about these kind of things to Tails,
Amy even, but he couldn't find either of the two. The hedgehog
brought his right hand wrist to his face, and pressed a device
hat was attached to it, which glowed a soft blue when he touched
it, "Tails? Buddy? Hey can you hear me? Come in Yellow Air?" He
said aloud to the device, but he got no response from Tails. "I
hope the kid's alright.." He said to himself, he wouldn't be
able to forgive himself if Tails was hurt and alone, and Sonic
wasn't there for him
He sighed again before digging up his heels as he reached the
gates of Mobotropolis, he slowed down to a fast jog, his feet
becoming visible again, the moment he was inside the city, heads
turned, fingers pointed, voices called out his name and people
cheered, He shot a thumbs up and smiled, before giving a two
fingered salute, and before any autographs could be written or
anything of the like, he sped off towards his house,non the
outskirts of the other side of Mobotropolis. It was more of a
shack then a house, but it was home to Sonic.
He reached it in seconds and was inside in a flash, sighing with
relief when he was inside.
Sonic pulled the fridge door open, and heated up a slice of left
over pizza, kicking the fridge door closed afterwards before
flopping down onto his couch and switching on his TV, taking a
bite from the pizza.
Hey, even Heroes like the chill out every now and then.

Phoenix could've easily kept up with the blue hedgehog but hung
back. She was still able to hear him try to communicate with
someone named Tails.
Once he had got to the gates of the city, she leapt up onto the
wall and took to the rooftops. Raising an eyebrow at all the
cheers and praise this hedgehog was receiving as she followed.
Wasn't long until the shack appeared, by now Phoenix having to
go back to the ground.
Upon seeing the hedgehog go inside, seeming to get food of some
sort, flop onto a strange piece of furniture, and turning on a
strange magical mirror. Phoenix gently knocked on the door
frame.

Sonic heard the knock, and closed his eyes for a moment, taking
another bite of the pizza, before swallowing, sighing, setting
the rest of the food down, switching off the TV, and getting to
his feet.
He wandered over to the door, shaking his head, Who could this
be?
Sonic placed a gloved hand on the door handle and pulled the
door open, finding Phoenix outside, he looked confused at first,
giving the girl a quick scan over with his eyes, then he had a
bit of a light bulb moment, remembering that he had seen this
girl back at Knothole with the others, "Hey, What's up?" He
asked, before his wrist communicator lit up and someone's voice
sounded from it, Sonic brought it up closer to his face and
listened, "How d'you work this thi AH I think it's working. Hey,
blue boy. Guess who?".
The hedgehog froze, his eyes going wide, he then managed to
bring up his other hand and press the device so that he could
talk back to her.
"F..Fi? Is that you? ..Fiona!" He shook his head, "Where's
Tails? How did you get ahold of his headset? I thought you where
with Scourge? Are you still with Scourge? Scourge hasn't hurt
Tails has he? What on Mobius is going on!?" He paced in a very
small circle by the door, running a hand through his spikes,
before looking to Phoenix, "Sorry" He smiled nervously before
looking back to his device, "Fiona, where is my Buddy? Is he
alright?" He asked firmly.

The orange fox was left alone, after meeting up with a few new
mobians back at knothole with that he continued his journey back
home which was mobotropolis. He arrived first at his friend's
apartment where they all resided, it seemed like nobody was home
yet. His little tummy began to growl, so he decided to go
outside to grab a bite to eat, and while he's at it why not buy
new supplies for his personal projects.
Moments later after grabbing a bite and getting the supplies,
his ears perked up as he heard the crowd cheering. He followed
the sound of the cheer which lead to an empty road, until ZOOM!
something or rather someone sped past by fast. "Wow!" the foxed
cheered in awe as the blue blur sped by. He looked above the
buildings and saw a familiar figure. It was the hedgephoenix he
saw back at knothole and she was following the blue hedgehog. He
wanted to ask her what happened after they all met up, so the
young fox followed her leading to a shack where the blue
hedgehog resided. From across the distance he could see the
hedgephoenix and the hedgehog standing by the door.

Phoenix had went to reply when the voice came from the strange
device. She raised an eyebrow before finally saying, "I believe
that the sky is up but I however came to....oh what did Soundis
say that was....oh yes, I wish to do this thing known as
'hanging out'. However I can tell that your missing a friend of
yours and quite worried about him. If you find their location,
we can go check on them."
With that said, she fell silent and waited for him to reply.

Sonic managed a smile at her 'Chilidog eating abilities'
comment, shaking his head, before listening to the red fox talk.
It was weird hearing Fiona... It had been so long...
"Hey, 'Fast' is my middle name Fi, there's no time to slow down"
He said, as he sped back, scooped up his pizza and then was back
by the door and Phoenix in a flash, he took a bite, but almost
choked on it hearing about Scourge, Fiona would probably be able
to hear choking sounds and coughing on her end.
"Scourge is DEAD!?" He said, sounding way past surprised.
He shook his head and focused on e rest of what she had said,
"Cute buddy? What, you got the hots for Tails now Fi? He'll be
over the moon if he finds out yanno, I don't think he ever quite
got over you" He said, again, managing a smile, until the part
about Tails' plane spinning out of control and crashing came up,
his eyes widened, "N..no..." He muttered staring at the ground,
he had heard her say that he had cuts and bruises but was still
alive and breathing, but that only helped a little, Sonic
finished his food, and had his other hand in his spikes again,
"I'll rush over to Tails' workshop, he'll have something in
there to help me track down your signal surely, then I'll be
over there before you know it" He said, looking back to Phoenix,
he nodded to her, listening "Hang out? You want to hang out with
me?" He shrugged and smiled, "Sure, thanks for understanding
too, Bud, Feel free to follow along, Pal" He said to her, before
running on the spot, his feet a blue in seconds and with that he
shot off to Tails' workshop.
Reaching it, he burst inside, the thing that always caught your
eye whenever you where in here was gone, The Tornado, Tails'
ongoing, long-term plane project was gone, and so was Tails, but
they'd both, the Tornado and Tails would be back soon enough,
Sonic knew that the first thing his Fox friend would be doing as
soon as he was on his feet, was going to the crash site and
retrieving his plane.
Sonic started to speed around the place, looking in amoungst
Tails' tools and gadgets, looking for something to help him out
here, "Come on, come on, there has gotta be somethin' in here"
He muttered to himself, as he threw a small wrench over his
shoulder and out of the way, hearing it hit into something metal
Sonic winced and spun around. Seeing a rather small robot
sitting there, and he small wrench on the ground beside it, he
hand managed to switch it on with his throw too, great. "Oh Uh,
Sorry about that" He said to the robot, awkwardly patting it on
the head before picking up the wrench and putting it back on the
bench.
[I DID NOT SEE YOU THERE]
Sonic paused his searching, looking over his shoulder at the
bot, "Yeah.. I didn't see you there either" Sonic said, as he
went from searching the desktop to searching in a nearby box.
[DID NOT KNOW YOU COULD TALK]
Sonic hit his head on a shelf above the box, gritting his teeth,
before looking back at the bit again, "What? You never seen a
mobian before? Wait... Of course you have, Tails built you so"
[WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?]
"I was just about to ask the same thing" Sonic said, kneeling
down in front of the bot, he noticed a tag it had attached to
it, he read it, and read aloud, "U.T. The Universal Translator"
He smiled, Tails inventions where always fun to see, but Sonic
didn't have time to talk with U.T.
He was back to searching the workshop, and a few minutes later
he had found what he was looking for, U.T. Following him around
all the while, "Aha! Found it! I knew it was around here
somewhere!" [TOOK LONGER THEN HOPED] "Yeah, I did, I need to get
to Tails, the sooner I get to him and make sure he's ok, the
better" [I HOPE HE IS OK] "Yeah me too U.T." He said before
pressing his wrist communicator to talk to Fiona once more, "Hey
Fi, come in? You still there? I found the signal tracker
thingiemajig, I'll see you soon alright? Look after Tails in the
meantime for me, ok?" He said before holding on tightly to the
signal tracker, looking it over to find an 'on' switch.
[HOW DOES THIS THING TURN ON?]
"You read my mind U.T."
(For those who are confused, Sonic is talking to Fiona Fox via
Tails pilot headset, and Sonic's wrist communicator, Fiona is in
the 'Memories Hidden Within

The young fox heard something about a missing friend, could they
possibly need help? He wanted to tag along as well so he
followed the two leading to a workshop. He awed at the amazing
sight, the tools, the gadgets and everything, whoever the owner
of this workshop was, the young fox admired him "Amazing!". He
slowly approached the hedgehog seeing that he needed help with
the device he was holding "Excuse me...do you need help with
that?" he asked then noticed the little robot standing beside
the blue blur. "Oh wow! look at you" he said to the robot.
