Supersonic Ice Cream Scythes, wait what? (CharoletteXMadness)

A blur of light blue and black shot into Mobotropolis, it would
be dawning on sunlight as the duo of Madness and Charolette
skidded to a halt in the giant city. They found themselves in a
park. Trees, trees, a lake, ah there it is! A camper van with a
shutter on the side and ice cream symbols was parked up on the
grass. Madness pointed it out to Charo. [I]"A friend of mine
runs that ice cream camper van over there. It doubles as his
home. I'm still not quite sure how he managed to get the permits
for living here, in a park."[/I] Madness couldn't help but laugh
a bit as he said 'in a park', then continuing. [I]"but he does a
good price on an ice cream, even has a system up with his
friends that he calls a 'credit agreement' where you buy now and
pay later. Apparently businesses use it."[/I] he shrugged with
one arm as Charolette was clinging to the other, he was still
smiling though. [I]"I mean i'm no businessman, I run fast and do
a bit of engineering here and there."[/I] as they approached the
van Madness tapped a button on it and it brought out a 'number'
panel. After tapping 5 of the numbers it disappeared back under
a flap. [I]"But hey, enough about me Charo. What about you?
Besides good looks what do you specialise in?"[/I] albeit that
question might not have made sense, but he felt that he might
have been putting her off with all of this talk about himself,
that and he just asked her the first thing to come to mind.

"What do I specialize in..?Well...Being a reaper we take souls
of the dead.But the thing with me is I look through the persons
memories and decide that the decisions they made can take them
to heaven or hell....Most of my souls go to hell really
eheh.And...W-Wait good looking?Y-You think that about me..?"The
reaper looked at him with sparkling eyes, taking the compliment
like he seemed to really like her."T-Thank you Mad..~!I-I think
you're good looking too..!"

[I]"She's a reaper?"[/I] he thought as she explained. He was
starting to wonder if this girl was really the best idea to have
for a friend, and maybe more later on.
But all of that changed when she stared at him with her
sparkling eyes.
Those sparkling eyes.
Wow.
He had a bit of a 'smitten' ('in love') face for a second before
he shook his head to clear his mind. [I]"Thank you
Charolette."[/I] he told her happily, he then proceeded to knock
on the steel door. [I]"Hey Geminic, could you open up? First
customers of the day."[/I] For a few seconds it seemed that
nothing had happened. Though inside, the owner of the van had
tried to active a cannon that was hidden in the top of the van,
but the panel that Madness had typed away at before had disabled
the plasma cannon. Eventually the owner just shouted [I]"Go
away."[/I]
Madness was expecting this to be honest. Some people stated that
he was 'a mobian Kai Hiwatari', whoever that was. Madness looked
back over at Charolette. [I]"Don't worry C, we'll get you some
ice cream."[/I], he said as he kissed her cheek, what looked
like a blue spinning top came out of his fur as he did so. It
seemed to have a red phoenix in the middle of it. He put the
small object onto the surface of the ice cream booth.
And after a few seconds, the stall opened up.
Madness smiled at the tall lion mobian that stood behind the
counter. He slowly picked up the objected and stared at it, the
whole object seemed to sparkle for a second, something that all
three of them could see, Gemenic held it to his heart for a few
seconds letting out the slightest of laughs. [I]"Hmhm. It feels
good to hold ol Dranzer in my hand again."[/I] the brown mobian
then dropping the object back in Madness' hand before lowering
his head slightly and closing his eyes for a few seconds. He
soon enough looked back up though, a big grin on his face.
[I][glow=yellow,2,300]"So what can I get for you my good
pal?"[/glow][/I] he seemed in a much more jovial mood now.
[I]"That's more like it!"[/I] Madness was now grinning too and
looked back at Charolette. [I]"Take your pick champion."[/I] he
told her.

The reaper smiled in joy, kissing his nose before saying."Oreo
ice cream!~" Hugging his arm and nuzzling in his shoulder, the
reaper let out a light giggle."Y-Y'know..I haven't smiled like
this in a while..I wasn't made to feel...B-But when you got
close to me I-I felt my heart throb..It was weird for me
really...I lived such a sad life I couldn't tell when the last
time I smiled was...Y-You changed that so thank you...Thank you
so much Mad..!"

Madness looked back at Gemenic, who seemed to be enjoying the
sudden energy change. [I]"You heard the girl, hahah. :D "[/I] he
told him. [I][glow=yellow,2,300]"Ain't you gettin anything pal?
I heard about you saving someone from drowning earlier. Figure
you should have at least somethin on her behalf."[/glow][/I] he
was of course referencing Madness saving Sapphire from drowning.
Madness held up a hand and shook his head with a chuckle.
[I]"Sorry buddy, I couldn't possibly accept free from you
myself. You're my amigo. I oughtta only be fair to you
right?"[/I]
He was open to Charolette convincing him otherwise though.
Speaking of Charolette she seemed to be extremely happy with
him, this made him happy. Madness wrapped his arms around her in
a hug when she explained that he was making her happy and she
hadn't been that for such a long time. [I]"Hey. It's my pleasure
to make you happy Charo."[/I] he told her, he had a bit of a red
tinge himself after Charolette had kissed his nose.

"Awww c'mon Mad!It wouldn't hurt ya'...W-Would it..?"The reaper
seemed to be trying to get used to this sudden bubbly and warm
feeling inside, and was just failing miserably at it.The poor
girl knew nothing, and needed someone to show her how the
surface works."U-Umm...But get some!..H-Huh..?"The sudden hug
cause her face to go red again, but would slightly tear up in
joy."M-Mad.."

Charolette trying to convince him to get some was like flipping
a switch. [I]"Oh okaaaay, hahahaha ;D "[/I] Madness looked back
over at Gemenic. [I]"Cone, double scoop."[/I] and after another
30 seconds or so both of them had their ice creams.
"M-Mad.."
[I]"Yes Charolette?"[/I] he asked her, noticing the tear in her
eye he was trying to figure out if it was a happy one or a sad
one.

"I-I think I...M-Mnnn...N-Nevermind..."It was obvious the reaper
was gonna say "I love you."But again they only just met.She
didn't know if he would accept it and love the reaper back, so
she just kept silent, and started licking at her ice cream.

Although he was smart in some areas, romance was never an area
of expertise for Madness.
Though despite the lack of ability in spotting a crush, he could
still tell when someone was upset.
And Charolette was giving off a few obvious signs.
[I]"What's the matter Charo?"[/I] he asked her, tempted to hug
her again in the hopes that it might convince her to talk about
it if she was going to be stubborn in thinking that it would be
better to just keep it to herself.
If he knew though, he'd probably have wished he kept his trap
shut. It would get awkward as it was just their first meeting.
Or maybe it was a first date? After all, they wouldn't be the
first people that had been on a 'first date' when they first
met, and even though Madness wouldn't really aspire to call
their ice cream a 'date' per se. It is what it is.

"W-Well....Do you maybe...By any chance..L-Like me..?"All she
did was stare down at the floor, she felt like she made it
awkward between the two after that question and her cat ears
would flatten slightly before finally saying."Y-Y'know it was a
stupid question..!Let's get a move on shall we..?"
