Species: Crystal Phoenix (Green Jade and Emerald)
Gender: Male
Weapons: While he prefers not to fight, his weapons consist of
mainly ninjutsu and taijutsu techniques. His greatest weapon
would be his ability to completely blend in with any area with
loads of plants.
Appearance:
Normal Form:
Manux’s normal form, if you he allows you to see him or you
get him in an area where there’s few or no plants, is usually a
four foot tall summer leaf green furred hedgehog with branches
that have moss on them growing out of either side of his head.
(Yank on them, I dare you. Though he’ll ask you to stop since
that does hurt him.) The branches have cherry blossoms in the
spring and become bare in the fall. Snow comes in winter. His
skin color is caramel tan and his eyes a color close to an
orchid. Due to being made from emerald and green jade, he's
quite heavy. His attire consists of a whitish long sleeved shirt
with orchid trim, whitish pants, and dark brown sandals. On his
tail, around some fur that covers the place where the branches
come out of, and on the branches are gold bands. The one on his
tail has an orchid trim. His collar has a gold crest that has
an opal in the middle and a gold leaf that dangles from it.
Battle Form:

Alternate Battle Form:
Not many have seen this form but it is said to be an emerald
and jade Phoenix that resembles Borealis and Constaladin.
Personality:
Calm and very Zen unless you harm the forest then he’s not so
Zen and calm.
Powers/Abilities:
Master of the Ninjutsu Techniques of Earth
Master Taijutsu
Any area with tons of plants, he can become invisible
Overgrow: When about to go into Crystal Stasis, a
crystal-like green aura appears around him. His Earth based
attacks become one rank stronger until he goes into Stasis.
Can only be killed when in Crystal Stasis
Knows a lot about herbs and makes great tea
Immune to all poisons and toxins
Due to being incredibly heavy, wind doesn't bother him.
Weakness:
Fire
Slow: despite being a Crystal Phoenix, he’s incredibly slow.
Garnet and Fire Agate
Due to his fight with Discord, his right foot is larger than
his left thus he can be knocked off balance.
Backstory in Short:
After his fulfillment of ending the Great War, Manux traveled
the world with the Earth Clans he had been created to resemble.
They taught him ninjutsu and taijutsu as well as how to make
great tea.
He meditated with them everyday and became more peaceful than
he had been originally. Though eventually the Earth clans went
into hiding, leaving Manux on his own. For many years, Manux
just meditated in a forest. Becoming so still that his very
being had become one with the forest and so he started to grow
the branches.
Though his years of Zen and peaceful meditating were over,
Discord had come to destroy things and it was his turn to face
her. In the fight, Discord had the advantage with speed and
easily knocked him into Crystal Stasis. She managed to slice
off his right foot just before he was fully crystallized. Due
to her talons having a toxin, his newly regenerated foot would
be larger than his left.
When he awoke, Manux felt he needed to pass on his knowledge as
he was unsure if he’d make it. The toxins were running
throughout his body and he didn’t know that he was immune. It
was then that he stumbled upon the Shinobi Clan. These Mobian
Chameleons were masters at invisibility already but would soon
learn the techniques Manux knew.
With a heavy heart after many years of teaching, Manux left
them. This was when he would find a home in the Great Forest
and to allow the toxins to leave, he would become a tree in the
forest. This state didn’t last long as it was only a few years
later that he’d awake. Awake to see people burning the trees to
clear for land. This angered him and thus he told them off.
Though these people couldn’t see him and thus the Legend of The
Voice of the Forest began.
Nowadays he resides in the Great Forest that hides Knothole,
watching over the flora and helping it to grow.
Extra:
He’s quite the literal fellow and will bare the bad news and
show no emotion while doing it. His monotone is a permanent
fixture, even when angry. His favorite tea is an unknown herbal
mixture that he calls ‘Breath of the Forest’.
