Memories Hidden Within (Miana)

As two steel gates appeared into view, surrounded by concrete
walls, an amber-winged hedgephoenix and a dark brown hedgehog
landed, and the hedgephoenix seemed very tired as she let go of
the hedgehog.
"Heh.... Miana wasn't this big when I was last here..." the
hedgephoenix said to herself, starting to walk in when she heard
a strange noise for a moment, before walking faster into the
city, remembering Ajax's directions, even with the paper she
kept in her pocket. She knew something must have happened far
off from the gates, but she didn't want to deal with it until
she knew where Tasha was.
She then slowed for a bit in her walk to try to see where the
Eden district would be, knowing this area was the Norlic
district from when she was last here, judging by the way of how
the houses were in the ravine, and then she came to the Eden
district a few minutes later, now looking for the sign with that
symbol on it that meant where Tasha and her father were, with
Tamwyn following as best as he could.

With luck, the two didn't have to look far; Natasha was sitting
on a bench at the edge of Alric Pass, half-way finished with a
cross word. She seemed engrossed in her work, not even taking
the time to look up as people passed by for the most part, but
that was just her wanting to keep to herself; there was no
reason to push herself into other people's lives. At least
Tamwyn would recognize her, and they would know they had taken
the right turns.

When the hedgephoenix, as soon as they got in the area of Alric
Pass after the sign, she saw the beige cat, and became feeling
out of place again, looking at the crossword puzzle in
confusion, since she could not read printed English yet, just
extremely fancy cursive.
"Tasha, it's me. Tamwyn, you know, guy that helped save a
certain amber hedgehog's life?" Tamwyn asked awkwardly,
wondering if what happened to Ajax had happened to Tasha, as so
to say she remembered her 'Tam-Tam'.
At that thought, while the hedgephoenix near him still looked at
the crossword, both blushed at once. Though, Tamwyn only blushed
because of Tasha, and the hedgephoenix because of her
nervousness.
"A-are you Tasha, [color=orange]Hera mea?"[/color] asked the
hedgephoenix to the cat, bowing slightly as if to introduce
oneself.

Natasha's ears twitched for a brief moment; she didn't know the
two were looking for her at first. It wasn't until she heard her
name that she looked up, freezing as she saw Tamwyn. She was in
shock, really, unable to speak for a short moment until she
finally managed to stammer, "T-Tamwyn?.." She reached out and
touched his cheek gently, nearly crying. "Tamwyn... It is you...
Tam-Tam!.." Grabbing his arm, the feline pulled him close and
hugged him, a few tears rolling down her cheeks and onto his
shoulder. "I thought I'd never get to see you again..."

"You do remember..." was all he could say, before Tasha pulled
him in for a hug. "I thought... y-you wouldn't remember me.... I
guess I was right in thinking you would just now.... Tash...."
he answered to her in a about-to-cry voice, hugging her just
like she was him.
Meanwhile, the hedgephoenix only stood there in silence, not
knowing that Tamwyn was good friends with Tasha as they hugged
and almost cried. Which would explain why he wanted to see her
in the first place.

"I went to visit you the day after they admitted you into the
hospital... and you were gone... I thought something had
happened..." It was true, what she had said; she had visited the
hospital with a white carnation in hand, only to find he was
missing, and that there was no record of him even being there.
Something was off about all of it; where had he been, if he was
there right now? She wiped her eyes with the sleeve of her
jacket, looking him in the eye for a moment. There was something
slightly different about her; maybe it wasn't the same Natasha
he had known, and she just knew another version of him? But, how
could that be? "I'm just glad you're okay," she whispered before
giving him a light kiss on his cheek.

Huh.... I disappeared from existance.... just like she did....
maybe there's a connection between it all. Lightanis didn't seem
to remember Lori, like Lori said... and then Tasha and Ajax do
remember me... There has to be something to do with those
events... thought Tamwyn, but he only nodded in answer, along
with a few words. "Odd, though... you and Ajax never came the
day after I was admitted either... The hospital never said you
and Ajax came, but there was one thing.
Rose told me, a week after I was admitted, that she felt a
different alignment of Chaos Energy than the previous week. As
in of Mobius itself. Maybe that is why I never saw you again?"
he said, feeling confused as Tasha kissed him on the cheek.
"Tamwyn...? Didn't we also come to see if Tasha could help us
with the lore books of the Archons...?" asked the hedgephoenix,
trying to remind the hedgehog of why they also came here outside
of meeting Tasha here.

"I wouldn't know anything about chaos energy..." Natasha finally
managed to stifle her tears and pull herself together, sighing
as she heard Amberfeather speak. "So, lore books, huh? Well, the
museum has some of them copied and on display. I could take you
there, if you'd like; you'd get to see the books, while Tam-Tam
and I get a chance to catch up on what's happened." She knew of
the lore books, but she was slightly confused by how the
hedgephoenix knew of the Archons; Ajax had never really talked
about it with anyone beside her. Then again, she was a phoenix,
so she could be centuries old. For all she knew, she could have
known Ajax's ancestors.

"Ajax told us the same thing about the books' location, but then
again, I would actually like to explore Miana a bit, as so that
you and Tamwyn could catch up, but that also, I can get to know
you better, Natasha.
My name is Amberfeather, by the way. It is nice to meet you,"
said Amberfeather, fully bowing with her wings in a
non-threatening position to Tasha.
"Yeah.. but Tasha, I'd like to say one thing... She says she is
from the time of a people called the Ancients, and that she's
been in Miana before the current time... I'm not sure if that's
right... but I have a feeling it is..." the hedgehog whispered
to Tasha, unsure if Tasha caught that Amber was borrowing her
clothes to hide that she wasn't normal as in 'modern
hedgephoenix'. Yet.

Natasha smiled, taking Amberfeather's hand and shaking it; "A
pleasure to meet you, Amber." She could of cared less if she was
wearing Natasha's clothes or not. Clothes were not something she
particularly flipped over. "Well, I was going to go out to grab
a bite to eat; maybe we could have some food together then?" The
light growling of her stomach could just barely be heard, and
she glanced back and forth between the two as she waited for an
answer; she hoped it didn't take them too long, because she was
getting hungry.
