Since we're all new here I figured I post up and say hi. This
year was my 20th deer season, 6th with a bow. I hunt mostly deer
and turkey and if the season is open I'm there with just about
any weapon that's legal. I spend upwards of 90% of my time in
the woods stalking or still hunting. This year will be my last
chance with 3 buck tags so most of the time was with my compound
and 2 days of rifle. Next year I'll be back to recurve hunting
until Nov. 1st then wheels until rifle. Good luck to the guys
that are still hunting.

Glad to have you over here. Wow three buck tags is that all for
one state. After I get a few more kills under my belt I may try
a recurve. For now I will stick with my compound and muzzle
loader. Again glad to have you here. If you have something you
would like to learn or just wondered about please ask.

We get 2 archery buck tags and one rifle buck tag. 3% of archers
or less are able to fill their post rifle season buck tag so
it's usually the truly hardcore guys that take all three. Next
year xbow is legal for archery season and we lose a buck tag so
this is my last chance to do it.
