Howdy, folks.

I probably won't be hangin' around here much anymore as I've got
a lot going on right now, but I wanted to pop in and apologize
for my absence and the lack of activity on the previous forum.
As many of y'all know, I'm a forest ranger and write about the
strange stuff I encounter at my previous location whenever I'm
placed elsewhere (usually after the higher ups decide I've been
causing too much ruckus ::) ) My last station was at Yosemite
and by god, what a beautiful and strange place. I'm not sure
I've ever experienced so much concentrated WEIRD in my life --
and I've seen a lot of weird, y'all! I may or may not have
gotten a bit too big for my britches and decided it was a good
idea to follow through on one of those random staircases you can
find if you roam too far from the path. Time really got away
from me. Still not quite sure what to make of it. I might write
up a post on my blog about it sometime once I gather my
thoughts.
Anyway, enough about me. Thanks to deeploredaddy for keeping the
ball rolling. You're doing great work, kid! Proud of ya. And
welcome to all the new folks. I hope your journey towards the
unusual leads you to whatever it is you're lookin' for in the
shadows but remember to keep sight of the light. Ya never know
when it'll shine through and you'll notice somethin' new.

I'll send you a private correspondence about the stairs. Still
not exactly in the right space of mind to post about it
publicly, but I can let you know some of the details.
And yeah, kid. You're doing a great job. Keep it up. :) We need
more people like you out there.

I am trying really, really hard to keep my cool here but OMG.
I'm such a big fan!!! It's great to see you active again. Any

welcome fellow ranger! would love to trade weird park stories
sometime. i hear there's weird stuff going on in redhand forest
that might be of interest

Howdy - sounds great, I'd love to chat. I've never been
stationed 'round there but I've heard some mighty interesting
stories about Redhand and I always love comparing trade secrets.
;) Maybe I'll shoot ya a message when I have a day off. Might be
a while though, they got me running ragged at my latest post!
