very creative of you to jump through all these hoops to not
believe what's happening around us. what an imagination you must
       have.

i believe that putting the egg in the freezer has kept it from
growing any further but i wanted to preserve it for future
studies. the egg is... very normal, strangely? beige in color,
about the size of an ostrich egg, with a thinner exterior than i
would expect. the only oddity is the odor that comes off of it,
       which is difficult to describe.

one of the only near-certain ways to dispose of a strange
creature is with fire. it is the best bet, unless it shows signs
of being resistant to it in life.

though i disagree with you, generally speaking, this is correct:
keep your eye on both strange and average, as both can be just
       as dangerous.

this is usually true, but we are dealing with rather unusual
circumstances. that is odd. and now i am curious about this
color, i'd love to see it. also, let me know if i can assist in
these studies at all - i work with animals very closely and may
       be of some service.

yes, both humans and monsters are bad - but that doesn't mean
that the strange isn't out there, bb

Eggs need to be incubated for survival, freezing one should
effectively kill it. All eggs, if fertilized, are lined with
veins throughout, and a beating heart inside. I would suggest
marking which side is up in case it rolls over. Have you tried
shining a strong light through it to view its contents?

If you're ever in the area and need a little caffeine, knock on
the back door at my place, someone will let you in. And keep
       your flashlight steady...
