The Argent Crusade sends its sorrows to hear of the loss of Ser
Alvarik Shieldbreak, and its compliments for the removal of Ser
Atheun Overland, as his continued existence was of displeasure
to the Order. Although we have long maintained a policy of
over-sight in regards to your affairs, Ser Oathbreaker, we find
it necessary to extend both our sorrows and our compliments for
the purposes of broaching a less personal subject; a demand on
the behalf of the Argent Crusader's building division. For the
past three weeks, the Thandol Span's bridge has been out of
service.
As you may be able to imagine, this bridge is of great strategic
importance to us, as it connects to the only friendly port -
Menethil Harbor - as well is the land-based route from Ironforge
for general supply delivery. When it was destroyed - our
Honourable Highlord took it as a slight, and commanded our
modest Crusade to determine what had caused this interruption in
our affairs. When our informants learned you, Ser Oathbreaker,
were involved - imagine our surprise that our reformed friend
had anything to do with such a grievous interruption of our
goods, trade, and movements. Many of our informants believed
that it was well planned that it had to have been an act of
aggression.
Nonetheless, the honourable late Shieldbreak informed us of the
existence of your Order, and we believe it was not the intention
of The Silent. That is not to say that the Argent Crusade
approves of either your existence or your actions, but we have
come to the conclusion that your quarrel was not with us - but
with another. We would like to believe that you are not
intentionally compromising the operation of the Crusade. We
should hate to make war against you again, Ser Oathbreaker. That
being said, however, something must be done in order to both
return our bridge to service, and to ensure that the Silent's
regretful nature is felt by the Crusade.
Our Honourable Highlord in his wisdom and grace, has used a
portion of our tithe to return the bridge to operational
capacity, but we should like some representations of the Silent
to come as our guests to the dedication ceremony of the new
Thandol Span bridge - rededicated as The Bridge of the Blessed
Crusader. We humbly suggest a donation to further cement the
Silent's approval of our actions and their ability to make peace
with those who do not wish to be their enemies. We further
suggest a payment greater than or equal to three thousand gold
sovereigns. If you were not to be present, the consequences, as
we are sure you are aware, might be dire.
Although our heart weeps for our fallen brother - the realities
of this evil and corrupt world call, even to us. We appreciate
your cooperation in our continued efforts against the evil that
plagues the Northern Kingdoms, and your generous donation. The
dedication will be on the Feast Day of the Silver Dawn, and we
will be delighted to have you with us, once again, Ser
Oathbreaker.

This is an IC Diplomacy / Combat event occurring at Thandol Span
in the Wetlands : time and date flexible, but likely whatever I
set on the calendar is what its going to be. We will be meeting
in the Catacombs before hand to discuss background, and an IC
context and conduct of this event. Caleb will not be attending
ICly, so if you long for IC leadership rolls, this is your time
to step up! OOCly, however, this is going to be led by me!
This event is going to be horror themed as well, so if you are
uncomfortable with horror themes, descriptions of gore, and all
that fun stuff, please don't put yourself in an uncomfortable
position!
