Altodar continues. "I guess not, but anyways, this vacuum of
power has created...a...torrent of sorts. Without a certain
leader, the Burning Legion has turned inward...to a...civil war
of sorts. The current lords of Argus are fighting between
themselves on who shall lead the legion from now on...My mother
and...the man whom I thought was my father being 2 of them."

Nora hugs Shor protectively, her brows furrowed, "I sure hope
you aren't hinting at Shor goin' over there leadin' around a
bunch'a demons!". She shifts herself to the front of him,
standing on his boots to give herself extra height while turning
her face to Alt, an angry glare burning at him, "Property of
Nora and the Silent!". Kaltera simply shakes her head listening
to the voices below, almost amused.

Shor smiles as he wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her
on the neck. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere without you."
Altodor looks both worried and disturbed by the fact that his
father is with a mortal woman younger than him and concerned
about his father's response. "Well, allow me to finish if you
will. This is actually a grand opportunity not JUST for the
Silent, but for ALL of Azeroth. I'm sure you're all aware of how
your scourge currently seeks no further ground right? Due to the
pacification of your Lich King?"
Shor'dal nods.
"Well, imagine that same situation, but with the Legion. The
Burning Legion having a leader that currently seeks no further
ground than what they have. Azeroth, will have no further fear
of attack from the Legion." He smiles as he looks to everyone in
the room.

Kaltera's voice echoes from atop the staircase, "I am sure your
plan would work wonderfully, that is...until Sargeras steps in
again. Who do you think was behind everything all along? Surely
not demons, no, but a titan, one of the very creators of all we
now know." Nora giggles, still flushed by the kiss from Shor,
"Thaaat's right! So no Shor for you! Even if it could be that
way, though...why not just try to step up yourself? I mean...who
knows, maybe you can get some rogue demonic agents to...you
know, turn against the legion and tear it apart from the inside
out!....Buuut then again...a titan, Mother told me of them, the
most powerful beings...it's a wonder we aren't all dead by now."

Altodar nods taking this all in. "I understand all of this,
and...ultimately the Legion would never accept a half-breed
leading them, and..." He sighs. "No one has...heard the word of
Lord Sargeras yet...in fact, I wouldn't be here if they had.
Many have believe that Sargeras has forsaken us. And thusly why
I'm here." He looks to Nora "I didn't come here to ask Shor'dal
to lead the Legion, I came to ask for his and everyone elses
help in placing my mother on the throne." He smiles at everyone
reassuredly.

Nora smiles and relaxes her grip on Shor, "Oh, well, when you
put it THAT way. This sounds interesting and all, but how are we
to know she won't turn on us? Or lead yet another invasion upon
Azeroth? My mother told me all about the horrible crusades of
demons." She smiles awkwardly, realising he was a demon,
well...half demon, "I mean, no offense or anything, but demons
do tend to be backstabbing tricksters."

Shor'dal follows up Nora's question with "And Altodar, I'm not
so sure I'd want your mother in charge of well...anything, I
mean, when she was in charge of me, you happened, So Nora HAS a
point, how are we to know Sae'Mira will do this?"
(( BTW is Nora still standing on Shor's boots? :P ))
Altodar holds his hands up almost in surrender "I KNOW she, like
many Eredar have done some pretty horrible things, but believe
me, despite the horrible things she's done, she is not without a
sense of honor and agreement. If she is placed in leadership
with your help, she WILL honor your desires..." He sighs. "'If
not for old time sake.'" He said, almost cringing as he says it.

((Yes, pfft, of course she is!))
The echo of a scoff comes from Kaltera. Nora hops off of the
boots, mostly because she slipped and wanted to play it cool,
she swipes her hair from her face and straightens again, "From
what I understand, "old times" is being controlling and forcing
good people to do things against their will, I do not see
'honor' in that at all. I am very sorry if I offend, but demons
just do not operate as any kind of hero, or even at the
least...with any mercy if it does not in some way benefit them."
She taps her chin, thinking, then snaps her fingers in a moment
of realisation, "Aha! Of course! Obviously you take after your
Papa! You do indeed have a sense of dignity in you, making you,
perhaps the perfect puppet for your mother? I mean, who knows,
she could just be using you, she could have been planning this
all along!"

Shor'dal chuckles at Nora's slipping off his boots.
Altodar continues "Your trepidation is understandable, but
really, what WOULD she have to gain by betraying you? She would
lose more troops in the process and...well, she simply has no
reason to. And I find it hard to believe that she would...do
what she did, all for THIS purpose. And..." He takes out a
large, glowing gem out of his robe. "I was told to give you this
as a sign of good faith."

Nora's eyes widen at the shiney, she leans closer, "Oooooooo!",
Her gaze is cut short by Kaltera's sudden response as she
gracefully walks down the stairs, a fear inspiring and strong
look on her face. "The Legion was MADE for the destruction of
planets! Sargeras holds a personal hatred for our world, even
MORE so now that the Draenei have made it their new home!" She
pauses, regaining her calm, "Even if your mother, though I DOUBT
it...is telling the truth, and plans to keep her word...Sargeras
would not stand for it....it could very well provoke another
attack out of spite. I would say it wise for all of Azeroth to
AVOID any possible contact with any member of the
Legion...friendly or otherwise." She eyes them both, her eyes
narrowed as if giving them an extra warning in silence. After a
long, quiet pause throughout the room, Kaltera continues, her
head now lowered as if having memories as she spoke," If
fact...if you think about it...nearly every major problem our
planet has had was from the Legion in some way...the well of
eternity over ten thousand years ago...the corruption of the
orcs and Draenor...the first Lich King, which led to the
plague...this ONE titan, Sargeras, has dedicated thousands of
years to using his Legion to inflict pain, suffering, and death
to all things living..to all things....good." Nora squeezes her
arms around Shor with a quiet gasp, "I-I don't wanna help, nu
uh.."
