Guild Info and Rules! [Start Here!]

Welcome to The Silent!
I am Eveya, Matriarch of The Silent. Our order fights in the
darkness for the good of the people. Each member of our
organization is driven by a different purpose. Some strive for
money or fame, some fight to protect the weak and innocent, and
still some seek something unknown to all but themselves.
Together we will establish Justice in this asunder world,
whether it be by the use of tools such as fear and pain, or by
the guiding hand of compassion and knowledge.
We began as a small and humble group. We took action in the face
of almost certain failure in order to accomplish what had to be
done. I do not deserve the trust you have placed in me, but so
long as there are those that follow my command I will give
everything I am for the greater good. The nature of your work
with us will be largely up to you. I will not assign you a task
that I feel you are incapable of, or one that you are unwilling
to complete.
When the shadows of fear and pain and war have warped the minds
of the people and stripped them of their power, it becomes the
duty of outcasts, vigilantes, and heroes to see to the rebirth
of justice and freedom. We will face obstacles that were
designed to be unconquerable, villains who are without remorse
or hesitation, and pain that can crack the soul and shred the
mind. In the face of all this, we must remain strong in our
conviction, true to our purpose, and Silent in the face of the
enemy.
OOC: The Silent is a growing Vigilante themed RP guild. We are
always recruiting friendly active Roleplayers, and anyone
interested in joining is encouraged to. I can be contacted via
In-Game Mail (Eveya), email (Silamouse@gmail.com), this forum,
In-Game Whispers, or Facebook (Sila Cercavae). We hold frequent
small events, and often have larger events for new recruits and
full-guild activities. Events like these will be posted on the
In-Game Calender. Our guild chat is OOC, and the rules posted
here apply to both Guild chat and Forum posts. Breaking these
rules in either location can result in being kicked from the
guild, banned from the forum, or a demotion.
Rules (Please read carefully):
Absolutely no abuse or harassment of any sort. Any abusive
comment based on Race, Religion, Sexuality, Gender, Nationality,
Appearance, or any other factor WILL result in disciplinary
action. Anyone who observes a guild member making a abusive
comment, whether it is directed at another member or anyone,
should immediately inform me. Encouraging abusive comments will
render you equally guilty. Remember to be sensitive.
Intentionally aggravating or causing emotional harm to another
guild member is abuse, and will be treated as such.
Threatening or encouraging another individual to harm themselves
will result in an intimidate removal from guild and ban from
forum. Making jokes or explicit comments about suicide, child
abuse, Sexual Assault, violent events, or any other sensitive
issues is prohibited, and these subjects are not to be discussed
publicly in these forums or Guild Chat.
Excessive explicit language is not permitted. Use of
particularly sensitive words may result in result in a mute or
ban without warning.
Do not post your World of Warcraft login details anywhere on
this site, and do not reveal personal information you are
unwilling to have publicly displayed. Do not request that
another individual provide you personal information or login
details.
Avoid spamming the forums or guild chat. View guild chat as you
would trade chat, limiting yourself to a few posts per period of
time, especially when the guild is very active. Your mannerisms
in guild chat play a large role in how quickly you earn ranks.
More rules will be posted as they are deemed necessary, however
doing something that is clearly not acceptable will result in
punishment. I am merciful, I am loving, but I will not tolerate
any member ruining the experience for others.

[size=14pt]I keep track of event attendance and other RP
information with a player-note addon. A lot of this may sound a
little formal and serious, but my focus is to make your
experience with our guild as enjoyable as possible. I hope you
have a great time RPing with The Silent, and look forward to
seeing what we can accomplish together!
