       Ashaun stood in front of the desk. The soldier looked him up and
       down for a moment before going back to his paperwork. As the
       soldier shuffled the papers, he pulled a quill from the ink
       well. Placing the tip of the quill on the page he spoke without
       looking up, "Name?" He asked in a bored tone.
       "Ashaun Veritas." Replied the mage.
       The soldier wrote his name down, and then moved on to the next
       question. "Place of birth?"
       "Does not matter. It was a small farm not far from Silver Pine
       when the undead attacked." Ashaun's voice was flat, and without
       emotion.
       The soldier nodded and continued on. "Reason for coming to
       Stormwind?"
       Ashaun continued to look down at the man. "I am looking to join
       a House or a Guild."
       The soldier wrote some more and then dipped the quill back in
       the ink. Placing the tip back on the page he got ready to write
       some more. "Age?"
       "Thirty eight." Ashaun's voice was empty and his replies were
       just straight to the point.
       "Occupation?" The soldier asked out of habit, it was obvious
       Ashaun was a mage by how he dressed alone.
       "Mage, but it is not just an occupation." Even at this statement
       there was still no emotion, not even pride.
       The guard made his last notes on the page and shuffled them
       together. Looking up at Ashaun he smiled slightly. "Welcome to
       Stormwind sir, enter that door over there. And it will take you
       to the main approach. There you can find your way through the
       city. Have a nice day." The soldier pointed to a door to the
       side of the room they were in.
       Ashaun simply nodded and headed out into the city. Wondering
       where he would be calling home.
