((Just a heads up, I am not good with word choice and grammar
and all that jazz. Also, this is still a work in progress and I
have more to add to it!))
((Edit... Should probably add that there is going to be some
murder and stuff along those lines in here! Read at your own
risk.))
Her name is Zindrana... Or at least, this is what she prefers
to be called. She grew up near a farm on the border of Elwynn
and Westfall with her parents and older brother. Her family were
active members of the Stormwind guard. Her father was a Paladin,
her mother and brother were both Priests. Her parents always
tried to push her to becoming a wielder of the Light, she did
for the first decade of her life. Though she was a natural at
it, something about the Light just didn't quite feel right to
her. Up until her eleventh birthday, she followed the ways of
the Light. One day, she decided to go off to the Stormwind
library and read about other types of magic. She read through
every book but still, none of them felt quite right to her...
One day, a strange book caught her eye, one that she had never
seen before on any of the shelves. The book had no title, inside
the book was filled with hundreds of pages on the usage of
Demonic magic. She was instantly drawn to this book, as if it
were calling to her. She kept the mysterious book hidden from
everyone and snuck off in the middle of the night to an empty
barn to read it. Months had passed since she found the book, she
spent every night reading every single spell and testing them on
the bales of hay that were laying around. She easily learned
them all, except for one. A spell which would summon a demon
from the Nether to do her bidding. No matter how hard she tried,
she just couldn't complete the spell.
A year passed by. Zindrana, who just recently turned twelve,
was finally getting the hang of the summoning spell. She could
summon little imps and make them dance around the barn and do
little stunts just to make her laugh. One day, there was an
accident with her spell. She had accidentally summoned a massive
Terrorguard instead of a tiny imp. Luckily, it had seemed that
this demon was gravely injured and was bleeding out. The massive
creature locked eyes with her, she was terrified. She ran over
to the book to find a spell to dismiss it, all the while the
Terrorguard was crawling closer to her. In her panic, she turned
to a random page and channeled the first spell she saw. The
spell was a spell she had never used before, it was used to bind
the soul of creatures to other objects. She held up her right
arm as she chanted, unknowingly pulling the demon's soul out and
forcing it into her arm. Strange markings began appearing all
over her arm, up to just below her shoulder. They all started to
glow, she began screaming in both fright and pain. Her brother
was coming home late that night and happened to hear her
screaming, he ran as fast as he could to her. He broke down the
door to see Zindrana sitting on the floor crying, a giant demon
corpse laying in front of her. He quickly ran over to her to see
if she was okay, but stopped as soon as he saw her arm. It was
covered in Demonic markings and glowing purple. Zindrana stood
up and looked at her brother, still crying, she mouthed the word
"run" to him over and over as she began walking towards him. She
was no longer in control of her body, her arm reached forward to
grab her brother. As she touched him, he began to scream in
pain, her hand was burning through his skin. His body soon
became devoured by a green flame and turned to cinders. She
stood above the pile of ash that was once her brother, tears
falling down her cheeks. Her body suddenly began walking again,
this time moving to her house. She knew the demon that was now
locked within her was going to kill her parents and there was
nothing she could do. She could only watch as her own body
walked into her parent's room and grabbed both of them by the
throat and charred them with the same green fire. With the
demon's influence on her now subsiding, her vision began to fade
as she fell to the floor.
When Zindrana finally came to, she found a chain around her
neck and her right arm was completely bound with a type of
cloth. She was in some sort of holding cell, there was a single
robed figure standing at the door. The figure walked into her
cell and kneeled infront of her as it gave her two pieces of
paper, both with something written on them. One; a spell that
would force the monster in her arm into a contract of sorts, one
where she would benefit on every level and the demon would
suffer for eternity. Two; a map to get out of the area she was
being held. She tried to ask why the figure was helping her. It
shook it's head and remained silent, unlocking her shackles and
unbinding her arm. The figure quickly ran out of the cell, some
gunshots seemed to follow it. Zindrana quickly got up and began
to walk out of wherever she was trapped. She followed the route
that was given to her, after a while of walking, she finally saw
the light of the exit. She found herself on the side of a cliff
in the territory of the Defias Brotherhood! With the ocean in
full view, she looked at the piece of paper with the spell on it
once more. She followed it carefully and to the letter, her arm
glowing brightly and causing her severe pain. She pushed through
the pain as best as she could, after thirty minutes passed, the
spell was complete. The demon was now fully under her control.
She now had full control over all of the creatures power, while
it was forced to suffer in eternal anguish...
