Shadows Love (Mature Fan Fic)

Just a story im working about shadow and rouge. :) Hope you
enjoy reading it as i write it.

Chapter 1. Thoughts Of Love.

Shadow walked down the street clutching the emerald he had just
recoverd from the sewers. He had fought off more then a hundred
of Eggmans robots to get this emerald. The doctor was getting
persistant. Why did he want the emeralds this time? Oh well the
reason didnt matter. All that matterd now was getting back to
his apartment.
"Hey hot shot. Did you get the emerald?" Rouges' voice squeeked
over the com-link interupting Shadows thoughts.
"Yeah i got it. The docs robots were swarming in the sewers. He
must be planning something big." Shadow replied. He wonderd what
the doc was up to. This was the second emerald that shadow had
retrived. He knew the blue hedgehog Sonic had three of them.
That meant there were two left to find. "Im going back to the
appartment. Where are you?" Shadow said.
"Im out getting some food. Why does it matter to you? Its not
like you care about me or anything." The bat said jokeingly. She
wonderd if the black hedgehog really did care or not. He was so
hard to understand sometimes.
"G.U.N Put me in charge of collecting the remaing emeralds and
watching you. I will not fail and go back to prison island."
Shadow had just got off that rotten island for helping Eggman.
The evil doctor had tricked Shadow into helping him and Shadow
had paid the price. He spent three months there. Until G.U.N
came and rercruited him. They knew he could sense the emeralds
and he was one of the fastest things alive. The only one who
matched his speed was the goof of a hedgehog Sonic. "Besides
your suppose to be watching the other emerald." Shadow opened
the door to his appartment building.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Don't worry the emeralds safe and im just down
the street. I can see the appartment from here." The bat girl
got up from her seat at the cafe and began to fly toward the
appartment G.U.N had provided Shadow. She was to stay there
while they carried out this mission.
"Just get back here soon." Shadow walked into the appartment. It
was a dimly lit room. The walls were a light blue color. Shadow
hated it but he couldnt get the dammed bat to help him paint it
so it had to stay this color for now. "And make sure you bring
me something to eat." Shadow tossed the new emerald on his bed
and he walked to the kitchen.
"Yeah i got it. Im comeing up the stairs now." Rouge walked up
the stairs to the appartment and opened the door. "See im here."
Rouge said as Shadow closed the refrigirator. He had grabbed a
soda to drink. He must of been tired after fighting so many of
Eggmans robots. "Here's your food. Its sweet and sour chicken
from that chinese place down the street." Rouge kicked off her
boots and flew into the kitchen beside Shadow.
The hedgehog finished drinking his soda and threw the can into
the waist bin. He was tired and wanted to sleep. But he was
hungry so he took the chicken that Rouge had brought him and sat
at the small table. When this job was done he would definitly
have to get some new furniture. Maybe even a bigger bed. And
deffinitly, He would have to paint the place a diffrent color.
Rouge sat beside him and watched him eat. Shadow always seemed
to eat very slowly. She wondered about him sometimes. This
scared her becasue it often made her wonder if she was starting
to get feelings for the hedgehog. Then a thought occured to her.
Everytime that shadow had gone off alone to do something
dangroues she had worried about him. She blushed slightly as the
hedgehog looked at her and got up to throw his trash away. A few
minutes later shadow took off his shoes and gloves and layed
them on his bed. He needed to shower before he went to sleep. He
walked into the bathroom and started his shower.
"Hmmmm that hedgehos scares me when he goes and runs off. I
wonder if he does care for me." Rouge thought to herself. "But
its so hard to tell with him. He never shows any emotion. He
always has that look in his eyes tho of being mad. Maybe hes mad
about being alone. G.U.N did kill his only friend after all. I
guess prison island was just to much tourture that he had no
other choice then to choose to help them." The bat looked at
shoadows shoes and smiled maybe she would try to make him laugh.
"Hey how do i look?" Rouge asked when the hedgehog came out from
his shower.
Shadow looked down at Rouges feet. "Take them off batty youll
mess them up." Shadow said as he walked toward her. "Besides
there like 2 sizes to big for your feet." Shadow sat in his bed
anfd laid back. He put his hands up under his head and looked at
the ceiling. The emerald no longer in his bed he knew it must
already be in the safe under it. "She does look pretty good tho.
But not in my shoes. I wish i knew how to tell her how i feel
but ive just been so use to not careing about anyone that i dont
know how to tell her." Shadow rolled over in his bed and closed
his eyes. Maybe he would take her somewhere tomorrow after all
it was there day off. Unless of course G.U.N decided to take
that from him to. He hoped and prayed not but the men at G.U.N
were plain assholes. They didn't care weather he had plans or
not they would just take him away and make him collect what ever
it was they needed then dump him off to find his own way home.

Chapter 2. A night to remember

As Shadow lay in bed trying to sleep he felt a sudden movement
on his bed. He Quickly opened his eyes to see Rouge laying
beside him. "Wat are you doing in my bed?" Shadow asked
sleepily. He could feel Rouges arms around him. It was a warm
feeling. One he hadnt felt in quite some time. But could he
really be feeling it becuase of this bat.
"Shadow. I was thinking. I get lonely when im alone and tho your
here in the same appartment im still lonely. "Rouge pulled
shadow a little closer. "And, it scares me when you run off and
do dangoures things. It brought me to the conclusion that i care
about you. I was watching you sleep and realized. I wanted to be
with you." Rouge held on to Shadow tighter.
"Rouge." Shadow wrapped his arms around the bat-girl. Maybe now
was the time to tell her. Shadow sat up in bed with Rouge
sitting up next to him. He patted a spot between his legs where
Rouge slowly crawled into and leaned against the hedgehog. He
held her close and studyed the bat. "Rouge i havent cared about
anyone in quite some time as you can imagine. After G.U.N shot
and killed Maria i swore to never get close to anyone ever
again."
"I know." Rouge knew the story well. She was on the space colony
ARK the first time she heard it. That was also the time Shadow
was tooken to Prison Island. She had also stayed up nights
worrying about Shadow and recount the memory while she waited
for him to return.
"Ive been thinking alot lately about you. I... I care about you
Rouge." Shadow kissed the bat softly.
Rouge kissed him back and shifted so that she was faceing the
hedgehog. They stared into each others eyes for a few minutes.
Shadow wrapped Rouges legs arounf his and pulled her closer. He
wanted her but hewasnt sure if it was right. The bat wrapped
arms around him and kissed him again. This time it was a long
kiss it had to have lasted at least 2 minutes. But also, It was
a french kiss. Shadow layed back and pulled the bat girl onto
him. She sat up and procceded to take off her suit. Shadow
watched her silently. He could feel himself getting an errection
and Rouge could feel it under her to. The bat girl finished
takeing her suit off and moved slightly to allow shadow inside
of her. As he slid in Rouge let out a soft moan. They stayed
like that the whole time. Rouge on top of shadow. They even
slept like that to.
