Puppets' Musical Adventure

In this fantasy world, there are people called puppet musicians.
They can hear the voices of puppets. Not only that but they are
amazingly gifted in playing musical instruments from the very
start. Though, it is only a single instrument they are good at,
and no other instrument after that. When the puppet musician
plays their instrument, they can control them puppet. Usually at
the age of ten, a puppet musician meets their first puppet that
will always be their as a companion. They might be as small as a
potted plant, or as tall as a human. There are many tales of
famous puppet musicians, but the most interesting ones are the
ones between a puppet and his/her companion.

Mikona walked through the port town that she arrived in. Her
harp was pressed close to her body with her arms across it. Many
people in the town stared at her and her puppet, Lance. Puppet
Musicians were not entirely rare, but it's not everyday one wore
such royal clothing. As she walked down the market place, she
got more stares. The princess was rather oblivious at all the
looks she was getting. Luckily, her puppet acted as her eyes and
ears. His hand rested on the handle of his sword as he followed
behind his companion. He had to be on guard not just to protect
Mikona, but he suspected a hired assassin had followed them to
port.

Sarafina strolled through the town, unaware of the glances she
received as she played a tune she made up on the spot on her
saxophone. She stopped every so often when she felt that some
notes didn't quite mesh together like they should. Her puppet
followed along behind her, smiling slightly underneath his red
demonic-looking mask while he listened to his companion.
Sarafina continued fiddling with different notes as she searched
for the right combination for her little song. Not that it
really mattered. She usually only played it all the way through
only once when she was finished and then started working on a
new one.

Mobius walked along the alley. He was alone. Or so the people
starring at him thought. his two puppets lay in the shadows.
Malinkos shadow illusion proved useful many a time before.
Mobius pulled his guitar from his back and closed his eyes as he
started to play. The people stopped to watch as he played and
the puppets emerged from the shadows doing back flips like the
jesters they were.

Mikona and Lance stopped as they suddenly as heard music being
played. One was a saxophone and the other one was a guitar. You
could tell they were puppet musicians because their companions
came to life without any strings attached. This made the
princess feel very excited and inspired. She started to play a
slowly and peaceful song on her harp as she continued walked.
Lance looked suspiciously at the three puppets.

Malinko danced toward the princess. "Why hello there lovely
laddie." Jigsaw danced around toward lance. "Sir. Your looking
swell." Mobius continued to play.

Sarafina couldn't help but stop when she heard the sound of
another instrument. Since she was already bored, she decided to
entertain herself by playing along with the guitar player. She
had always been pretty good at improvising her music. She looked
over at the two puppets who moved along with the guitar player's
notes and watched them while she added in the sound of her
saxophone. After a moment or so, she picked up on the sound of a
harp and glanced over at the royal looking girl who it belonged
to. Sarafina stopped playing for a moment to watch the exchange
between the two puppets who belonged to the guitar player and
the girl with the harp.

"Hello there, Mister Jester Puppet." Mikona said with a smile.
She started to play her harp with the tune of the guitar. She
looked slightly around to see what happened to the saxophone
that had suddenly stopped. Lance flicked his hair as he ignored
the second jester. He paid more attention to the princess. He
wanted to make sure that this puppet musician and his twin
puppets were not a threat to her.

Sarafina snapped out of her somewhat distracted phase and began
playing her saxophone again. Like before, her tune matched that
of the guitar player. Since she was there, she may as well have
her puppet entertain the onlookers. Reyler stepped forward and
made three fireballs. He began juggling them, earning the
attention of the few children who happened by.

"I am very well, thank you for asking." Mikona said. She was
glad that the saxophone came back into play. She played her harp
with the same rhythm of the two instruments. Lance continued to
pay attention to only his companion. Unlike all the other
puppets, he was more suited for combat. That was actually what
he was created mainly for. He did like to preform tricks to
entertain an audience.
