How I handled mental conflicts with level one

I've been doing TROM for five and a half months now. Flattened
levels 1,2 and 3, but still had my doubts about what I was doing
because despite the fact I did the previous levels to death, I
still found myself arguing with people inside my mind, focusing
on conflicts and other weird crap when I was not in session.
Increasing the amount of RI I did helped to an extent, but the
following really really handled it to an -almost- vanishment.
Normally I would mock up pleasant things around me, cool stuff
like characters from my favorite movies, attractive members of
the opposite sex, and food that I liked. Sometimes I would just
mock up huge boulders so I could have a ton of mass.
But I had to be honest with myself-- "What importances am I
truly craving?" and the answer was-- conflict!
So I mocked up opponents, disasters, people arguing with me,
fighting with me, members of the opposite sex trying to seduce
me, and all sorts of other wicked stuff.
Poof! After a couple sessions of doing this, I found myself
significantly more in present time between sessions.
Not trying to rewrite Dennis' tech or tell you how to run RI.
Just something to consider if you have the kind of mind that is
constantly planning for a fight.
Happy TROMing!

Wow thats surpising. For me i mostly find myself resisting
conflict. But competition is something id be more interested in.
Maybe becaise i mostly lose arguments is why i dont like
conflict lol.

Resisting conflict I think was a conflict in itself, so I had to
embrace it in order to end it in my mind.
I don't think everyone's case is necessarily going to work this
way, though. So don't take my spin on this particular subject
as gospel truth.
Thanks for responding!!!!!
