therein, are guaranteed a list of rights that must be followed.
No state can infringe upon any of these rights during times of
peace, and cannot likewise infringe upon another states’
civilians’ rights. Any state that does shall be brought to court
for their activities.

expression within the NCSA. He has the freedom of speech, the
freedom to choose his own religion, the freedom of movement, the

commodity. No government, organization, state, law, person, or
policy can make a person the property of another, through any
means. No person may buy, sell, trade, own, or acquire another
person through any means. As such, no value can be placed upon a

must be considered. As such, no government, organization, state,
law, person, or policy can conduct mass murder for any reason.

> Section II Any and all people who currently are on sale,
owned, sold, or in transit, are to be released from captivity.
The states shall not be punished for the conduct that happened
before hand. All states releasing salves, however, must ease
their transition, as well as compensate them.

McCartney put his hands on his head and looked down to the
floor. The vote to the table had failed, it opened a gateway to
the abolishment of all servitude, it opened the gate to an
economic collapse of Columbia.
"So what's to come next Mr. Speaker?"

"I would like to take this time for thanking all of y'all for
coming here today. I think it's important that so many people
came to oppose the bill and support the bill, it speaks a lot
about our society, it says that we have mixed views, and we can
accept those mixed views. As many of you know we have an
institution in Columbia many would like to call 'slavery'. This
'slavery' exists in other states such as Sparta as well. But,
what people fail to realize is that the institution today in
Columbia is not slavery at all, it something we refer to as
servitude. It has been our way of living for decades upon
decades. We've had our rough history, but we cleaned that up,
and we made changes. We protect the rights of our servants and
we treat them as human beings who made the decision in their
life to work for free, in exchange for shelter and protection
for them and their families. So while we go to vote, remember
that we have families that depend on this system. I'm not
concerned about the planters, I'm really not, because their
really well off, and they'd make it fine if they were forced
into paying their servants. I'm concerned about what will happen
to the servants spirit, passing this as law would send a message
to the servants... you made the wrong choice, and we the
government of the NCSA, knows what's best for you. I understand
the feelings towards unpaid labor, I hear the voices of the
parties in Columbia, and I hear the voices of the Socialists,
but when will you hear the voices of the servants? When will you
here their voices and when will you accept their choices?"

"While I recognize the protections for those that are in
servitude, it seems preposterous to me that their exists a
perfect system, I've seen the horrors of war, seen with my own
eyes what hate and a presumed morality does to people. Even if
these servants are protected, we have no guarantee that they are
absolutely treated with justice or even fairness. I've seen
forced labor, I've lived through it, when you work for someone
not by choice but by subjection you live an indecent and
horrible life, one with fear and paranoia. Not only is it
deplorable that these people have to resort to, quite literally,
selling themselves to afford protection and security for their
families but they are required to serve a master who could in
many ways be unpredictable. So Mr. McCartney I will never be
convinced that this is a necessary institution, only that it is
a horrible one."
