House and Senate

I think whoever brought that up last night has a really good
idea. We need the check and balance. I think we should have some
senators, not alot but some to ensure that bills that may hurt
someone don't just get passed right unto the President's desk.
Just an opinion, didn't know if anyone really thought about this
beyond when it was brought up.

The Constitution I proposed has a bicameral legislature.

The Senate, according to the proposed Constitution, is based on
the population of each political party. I think we should
clarify how many senators there is going to be and divide it
based on the percentage of which political party has the most
members.

Yeah I like that, base the number of senators off of political
parties. But what about 8? An even 4 between the two parties in
the Senate.

Are we going to have a minimum of how many senators each party
is going to have? For example, for each established party, they
each receive two senators. The rest is then divided by how many
members each party has.

I believe we had 6 last time. Have too many and its just
another lower house with pretty much the same outcome. And it
was worked out by districts.

Then you have the problem of breaking ties (and it would be
based off of the number of members of each party, so you would
only get a 4-4 if they parties are equal or nearly equal)

Maybe one since each party could make two and if we had four
parties we would already have 8 right their.
