Welcome to NCSA Sports News, where we give you the daily update
of what happened in the NCSA Sports world!
Today we start at the Michael Bellandese Memorial Arena, where
the Cream Stalwarts faced the Frijstaater Wolves.
In the 10th minute, Cesar Montoya shot from about 22 meters
distance. The ball was deflected twice, lastly by Wolves
defender Philip Newton, and finally luckily bounced right in
front of the Stalwarts' defender's feet. He shot from 9 meters
distance past Wolves goalie Luka Medina to get the lead.
       Stalwarts 1 - 0 Wolves
In the 33rd minute, Stalwarts midfielder Cesar Montoya wanted to
move the ball into a better position using his hand and got a
       yellow card for that.
In the 59th minute, Tyas Heijkoop played very team-spirited and
passed the ball to Christian Zweig, instead of shooting himself.
The experienced starter, though, rushed the shot and the ball
went more sideways than forward. But Igor Vidovic somehow felt
where the ball could go and pressed the ball, with the point of
his foot, over the goal line at the far post. Stalwarts 1 - 1
       Wolves
So, this match ended in a 1 - 1 tie.
There was also another soccer match played today, in the Brian
Ninjarino Memorial Soccer Field, between the Greenville Bombers
       and the Diddyland Dynamo.
In the 2nd minute, William Williams opened a great opportunity
for Larry Tentrow, who, without any problem, out of short
distance, pushed the ball past Dynamo goalie Daniel Stokes for
       the 1-0 lead. Bombers 1 - 0 Dynamo.
In the 35th minute, Bombers midfielder Tommy McWeston got a
yellow card after a rather harmless foul against Andres Willis.
Referee Lukas Kadrija could have just lectured the player
without necessarily giving him a card for that.
In the 39th minute, Harvey Griffin layed the ball up well for
Andres Willis who had broken free on the left side. He shot,
standing unmarked, from the edge of the penalty box and put the
ball in the right bottom corner. No goalkeeper in the world
would have saved that one. Bombers 1 - 1 Dynamo
In the 76th minute, the Bombers' midfielder clearly stopped a
Dynamo attack with a tactical foul. Yellow card.
In the 90th minute, the Bombers' midfielder fouled the Dynamo's
midfielder and was given a yellow card from referee Kadrija for
       it.
So, the second match of the game also ended with a 1-1 tie.
That leaves the NCSA soccer league's standings just as they
       were:
       1 - Diddyland Dynamo - 1 win
       2 - Frijstaater Wolves - 1
       3 - The Cream Stalwarts(c) - 0
       4 - Greenville Bombers - 0
       That's all for today.
       Have a good night!

OOC: Before I start, I want to mention once more that the
results are simulated with a software. I do not come up with
these results, I simply write them down in this sports news
style. So please don't try to convince me about that a score
should have been different, or that I should have made your team
win, cause I do NOT invent these results. They are simulated
       without any bias.

Welcome to today's NCSA Sports News broadcast.
Let's go ahead and start right away!
At the Haven Central Stadium - Located in Jackson, West
Phoenicia, the West Phoenician Scorpions faced the Diddyland
Pilots for a match of basketball.
Michael Chapps from the Scorpions had a fantastic match, scoring
31 points, but in the end the Scorpions fell short by just 2
points in a 99 - 101 defeat. It has been a really disappointing
season for the Scorpions, who had been champions last season. If
the Pilots win the next match, they'll take the title away from
       the Scorpions.
Here you can see the standings:
       1 - Diddyland Pilots - 3 wins
       2 - West Phoenician Scorpions(c) - 0
From basketball we switch to the NCSA football league, where
       match day 3 was played.
We start off at the Lufthansa Arena in Angel, Diddyland, where
the Diddyland Blue Devils beat the West Phoenician War Dancers
       by 23-17.
Blue Devils QB Leslie Conner paved the way to victory, throwing
for 157 yards and 2 touchdowns.
We witnessed a major upset at the Shark Tank, the Fensite sharks
lost their match against the Coastal Crusaders!
Crusaders QB Jonathan Hopkins threw for 181 yards, 3 touchdowns
       and 1 interception.
The final score was 28 - 20 for the Coastal Crusaders, who now
finally recorded their first ever win!
In the last game of the day, the Frijstaater Flames lost an
extremely tight game against the Charlotte Paratroopers by 34-35
in the Metro Arena in Felsenburg.
Flames RB Benjamin Pfeiffer ran for 155 yards and 3 touchdowns,
but it wasn't enough to ensure his team a victory.
So now, the Paratroopers have also won a game for the first
       time.
So, a lot of first-time winners today, and this is how the NCSA
       football standings look like now:
       1 - West Phoenician War Dancers - 2 wins
       2 - Frijstaater Flames - 2
       3 - Diddyland Blue Devils(c) - 2
       4 - Fensite Sharks - 1
       5 - The Coastal Crusaders - 1
       6 - Charlotte Paratroopers - 1
So, while today the basketball league seems to have found its
champion, the football league is as close and tight as one could
       hope for.
We hope you enjoyed our show. See you again tomorrow. Have a
       good night.

       Welcome to NCSA Sports News.
Today we start our broadcast at the Francis Stadium, where the
Fensiti Lions, who now have been renamed to be the Fensite
Pirates, beat the Columbia Rebels at baseball. Here are today's
       baseball box scores:
       Francis Stadium
       Columbia Rebels - 1 0 0 1 0 2 0 0 0 - 4
       Fensite Pirates - 0 3 4 1 1 0 2 0 x - 11
       Adidas Arena, Belgrano, Diddyland
       West Phoenicia Confederates - 0 0 0 0 2 1 0 0 3 - 6
       The Diddyland Lions - 0 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 - 2
       Liberty Field, New Amsterdam, Frijstaat
       San Fran Runners - 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 - 3
       Frijstaater Flame - 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 1 - 4
So, we had a 11 inning game in Frijstaat, and last season's
champions, the Lions, are still winless this season.
       Here are the standings:
       1 - West Phoenician Confederates - 3 wins
       2 - Columbia Rebels - 2
       3 - Fensite Pirates - 2
       4 - San Fran Runners - 1
       5 - Frijstaater Flame - 1
       6 - Diddyland Lions(c) - 0
In the NCSA hockey league, the West Phoenician Heatwaves played
host to the Cream Pies at the Heatwave Arena in Jackson, West
       Phoenicia.
Gregory Brain tied the Pies' early lead, still in the first
period, assisted by Rob Pastor, but Phillip Dashenko's assist
lead to a second lead for the Pies.
Nathan Despot assisted the Heatwaves second goal, which once
again tied the game, in the second period, but in the third
period, the Pies took a lead that they then never again gave out
       of their hands.
Ethan Knight assisted the Pies' last goal against Heatwave
goalie Cooper De Recruit, the match ending in a 4 - 2 victory
       for the Pies.
Finally, in the Metro Arena in Felsenburg, Frijstaat, the
Frijstaater Hedgehogs beat the Diddyland Freezers by 2 - 1.
The Freezers hat gotten the lead in the second period, but a
mistake in the third period made them concede a goal and so the
match went in to overtime, in which the Hedgehogs were able to
decide the game in their favor.
So here are the updated NCSA hockey league standings:
       1 - West Phoenician Heatwaves - 2 wins
       2 - The Cream Pies - 2
       3 - Frijstaater Hedgehogs(c) - 2
       4 - The Diddyland Freezers - 0
As we see, the battle for the title is extremely tight.
So, that's all from us today.
We hope you enjoyed the show, see you again tomorrow and have a
       good night!

       Welcome to NCSA Sports News.
At the Felsenburger Stadion the Frijstaater Wolves faced the
Diddyland Dynamo for match day 3 of the NCSA soccer league.
In the 42nd minute, Harvey Griffin dribbled through the Wolves'
defense alone. Wolves defender Phillip Newton could clear at
first, but the ball comes back to Griffin, who doesn't wait long
and scores for the 1:0 lead. Wolves 0:1 Dynamo
In the 43rd minute, Wolves defender Dmitry Anisimov got a yellow
card. It was actually a harmless foul, but the referee simply
had to give a signal after some unfair actions before that.
In the 49th minute, there was a huge hole in the Woves'
defensive line. Kevin Neal saw that and passed to Harvey Griffin
through the gap, who calmly pushes the ball under Wolves goalie
Luka Medina into goal. Wolves 0:2 Dynamo
In the 63rd minute, a corner from the right side was taken by
Matthias Beike. Dynamo defender Oscar Gill cleared at first,
then Dynamo defender Andy Perez won a duel against Tyas Heijkoop
and got the ball out of the box. But the ball landed in front of
the feet of Igor Vidovic, who took it and then determinedly shot
it. Karel Novák stood in the line of the shot and deflected the
ball with his heel. Dynamo goalie Daniel Stokes had no chance. A
Dynamo midfielder had forgotten to move up, therefore there was
       no offside. Wolves 1:2 Dynamo.
In the 81st minute, Dynamo defender Oscar Gill had to make up
for a mistake from a Dynamo striker and, fouling a Wolves
striker, got himself a yellow card.
In the 82nd minute, a Dynamo defender committed a tactical foul
against a Wolves striker. Yellow card.
And so the match ended with a 2-1 victory for the Diddyland
       Dynamo.
At the Michael Bellandese Memorial Arena, the Cream Stalwarts
       faced the Greenville Bombers.
We'd like to show you highlights from the match, but there
literally were no highlights. It was a boring match with barely
any action. Bombers defender Rory Nuvedina had a good match, but
       otherwise this match was disappointing.
So, as you can imagine, the match ended 0-0.
So here are the updated NCSA soccer league standings:
       1 - Diddyland Dynamo - 2 wins
       2 - Frijstaater Wolves - 1
       3 - The Cream Stalwarts(c) - 1
       4 - Greenville Bombers - 0
       And that's all for today.
See you again tomorrow and have a good night!

       Welcome to NCSA Sports News.
Today, at the Hilton Arena in Harald City, the Diddyland Pilots
missed the opportunity to crown themselves champions for the
first time in their history in front of their own fans.
Although Gene Gomez scored 34 points, the Pilots narrowly lost
against the West Phoenician Scorpions by 109-111.
Here are the standings for the NCSA basketball league:
       1 - Diddyland Pilots - 3 wins
       2 - West Phoenician Scorpions(c) - 1
Now we leave basketball behind and move on to matchday 4 of the
       NCSA football league.
At the Battlegrounds (Palmetto Airlines Stadium), the Charlotte
Paratroopers beat the Diddyland Blue Devils by 36 - 10.
Paratroopers RB Brent Metil had a great game, rushing for 150
       yards and a touchdown.
At the Gwinnett Sports Complex, the Coastal Crusaders were
brought back to reality, after their last victory, by the
Frijstaater Flames, who defeated them clearly by 10 - 33.
Flames QB Erik Fleischer had a fantastic game, throwing for 209
       yards and 3 touchdowns.
Finally, we go to the Blackfoot Hills Stadium in Fort Blackfoot,
West Phoenicia, where the West Phoenician War Dancers lost in
front of their own crowd against the Fensite Sharks. 14 - 33 was
       the final result.
Sharks QB Erick Hill had a dominant performance, completing 18
of his 23 passes for 316 yards and 2 touchdowns.
That leaves us with the following standings:
       1 - Frijstaater Flames - 3 wins
       2 - West Phoenician War Dancers - 2
       3 - Diddyland Blue Devils(c) - 2
       4 - Charlotte Paratroopers - 2
       5 - Fensite Sharks - 2
       6 - The Coastal Crusaders - 1
We really couldn't have wished for a tighter season!
So, that's all from us for today.
       Have a good night!

OOC: The number of matches that I have to simulate every day has
gotten a bit out of hand. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy
about so many people registering teams, but writing a
fully-worded match report for each one is a bit too much for me.
So, if it's alright with everyone, from now on I'll write match
reports, but which are more factual and less news-report like.
I hope that's OK with you.
