Gondor Black Rangers are the state's black ops, the
cherry-picked best of the best. They are trained in many
theaters of war, including Sea, Air, and Land operations. They
specialize in being a quick strike task force that takes down
any threat to Gondor before it has a chance to react. Their
training lasts a year and a half, and they do exercises nearly
year round for readiness purposes. They wear a combination of
ballistic and Kevlar body armor for protection. In their helmets
they have a HUD, a minicomputer, and a vitals tracker. It also
has built in comms. Their main weapons are often F-60 anti
material rifles and F-32 assault rifles, a staple of the Gondor
military. For sidearms they carry P-1 pistols and bowie knives
for blades. They are trained for assassinations, urban warfare,
amphibious assault, assaulting compounds, and guarding members
of the government. Recon and intelligence ops are also reserved
for a select few who score well enough in training. Their base
of operations is in a forested remote area of the state, where
they have a massive underground compound for training and
lodging. These men are sworn to secrecy, and cannot even tell
their own families what they do. There is also a special group
of Black Rangers named the Warmakers, and they are the most
heavily armored part of the order. They wear mechanized armor
and can be dropped out of air vehicles.

The Arrow 3 Anti Ballistic Missile is designed to intercept and
destroy ballistic missiles, including those with nuclear
warheads. An Arrow 3 battery is expected to intercept salvos of
more than five ballistic missiles within 30 seconds. Arrow 3 can
be launched into an area of space before it is known where the
target missile is going. When the target and its course are
identified, the Arrow interceptor is redirected using its
thrust-vectoring nozzle to close the gap and conduct a
"body-to-body" interception. By measuring the seeker's
line-of-sight propagation relative to the vehicle's motion, the
kill vehicle will use proportional navigation to divert its
course and line up exactly with the target's flight
path.Furthermore, the kill vehicle's divert capability and
agility reduce the need for detection and tracking systems,
which usually accompany remote sensor-assisted exoatmospheric
kills.
